After 20 episodes, JM become mature and everything start to become serious. The show start talking about the side characters so that everything will make sense when RY become his revenge, JM kill XF and XF become Demon lord.
If you don't know the plot line in advance...you might mistakenly think why it become no comedy anymore.
Iife is like that... There is full of up and down....people cannot be naive all the time.
I recommended you to spoil yourself a little bit so that you will know brief story line and not miss all the good part

Tried watching Secret of Three Kingdom and after 10 episodes...don't feel like continuing anymore....Just how many dramas did I drop and put on hold these days?!! I might as well rewatch this drama with eng subtitle...

I do agree with you on this point....as when people fall in love and become love fool, they lost their brain. In one interview, DL also explain about his character being childish and immature when it comes to love.

In Eternal Love, misunderstanding happen because the leads did not communicate well. BQ misunderstand because....what YH said...it seems like no actions just word.
However,
In HSALF, everything happen because JM was not able to feel love as she took unfeeling pill and she doesn't even know the gender difference ( because of the way she was brought up) There are a lot of actions of love and they communicate pretty well...it's just that her heart was ICE COLD and she use her brain more than her heart. Only after she vomit the pill, she was able to feel love. So I would say misunderstanding here are not that annoying. Everything seems to be understandable.

Same here. Now I listen their music all day! expecially, the ending song (the lyric is so beautiful in chinese! wish someone could give better translation!!)

I just love the BTS to much so I end up watching BTS of other dramas. Nothing is better than HSALF's cast!! Even Director look adorable in my eyes. ><'

I agreed with you. Both shows are amazing and also have flaws. Some people complain about side story and compare with TMOPB. Come on!! TMOPB has side story too. In TMOPB, what I dislike the most is side story, grandpa and newborn’s romance (sorry..it’s just it doesn’t match my taste) if the one acting is not DD and GV, I would have drop the show because of that.
I love TMOPB just because of YW and Little rice ball ><
