The pictures and returs look 1000x better than whatever is being shown. This director might be the worst i have seen in recent years.

The editing, camera work and lighting are too bad and distracting. All the close ups are annoying. Yes the visuals are strong, but nothing else is up to the par. This feels like an 2000s work. The dramatic effects are so over the top. Utter disappointment 😭

Ahha ok. But she clearly does not care about them as much, at least they did not show it. I understand our female lead is emotionless and whatnot but I still don't see a clear enough motive.

Understandable. But now she's not after power? I don't know what kind of alliance she is after. Like what is her motive in this marriage? She keeps saying its not for love. For power, she would not choose the crown prince, no?

I did think of that, but the way she is offending people left and right it does not feel that way. Why is she being so mysterious and calculating when there is no reason for that?

Exactly! The current her feels like a character without any agenda. What does she hope to gain from any of this? No character development, a lot is going on, but I do not see any point

I am missing the point of rebirth here? What is the her motive and how does her previous life affect her here?

This had so much potential, but the script ruined it for me. I see people comparing it with First Frost so much, that hyped up my expectation more 😭

Exactly! The acting and the direction was awesome! Some of the best I have came across, but the story fell flat in the later stages. Little to no character development for the side characters, plus trashy pace in the later half.

Yes Linan village was nice, but I found it draggy too. It felt useless to make that arc 20 episodes long, I lost interest in Xie Zhang's actual identity through all that. I wish they showed Ningning with the rest of the cast towards the end. Those were the most wholesome moments for me. My problem with this is all on script level.

With Zhang Linghe's and Zhai Xiao Wen's dramas airing at the same time, I cannot help but think about this. Please don't make me wait 800 years for this

This whole series and franchise were a disappointment. The only thing I liked was Liu YuNing singing the opening song of this.

I think I liked TBOY better, still waiting for season 2. I was hoping this would have filled out some void.

My ratings are not very consistent, but as long as I rate it above 5, I like it.

The fighting scenes have too much special effects and CGI; they ruined the beauty of the movements. It's ruined for me.

Him and Bai Lu would look soo goooooodd. Of course, I am delusional, its not happening any time soon. Let's hope he accepts a script soon after his little break.
