Awesome! I've watched it twice now and I liked it just as much or more the 2nd time. Which is a compliment for me because I'm not a rewatcher. I want to watch it again soon.
yeah it was bad, especially since he could have been happy with Erena if he hadn't chosen to go that route with Saeko. But you live and you learn, and they did.
He really didn't steal her away. She pushed herself on him, but that was after her husband was physically and verbally abusive to her. But in the end, she went back to her husband and they worked things out, Erena rejected Sota, and so did Kaoroku. So he ended up alone in the end. But it was actually a nice resolution for everyone involved. They made a lot of mistakes but all of them matured in the end. Sota finally got his "fairy" but realized that the Saeko he wanted for so long wasn't the real Saeko but the Saeko he had imagined in his mind. Saeko realized that it was time for her to grow up and be responsible. Erena realized her worth as a person, and Kaoroku stepped down from her high horse, and learned that she had been just as selfish and immature when it came to love as everyone she was judging. I was told that I Saw The Devil was better than Oldboy, but I thought Oldboy was better. I Saw The Devil was good, but I like the artistic style of Oldboy a lot better. I enjoyed the Revenge series a lot more.
