Do you like slowburn? A strong FL that knows what she wants? A pitiful ML that doesn't believe he deserves to be loved. If so, then yes this is the drama for you.
The title should be Love Games is a domestic hit and The Story of Pearl Girl is a Global hit (or just state there both hits). The title is pitting both dramas against each other when it doesn't need to be. Both dramas are a huge success and I'm sure the actors are happy about that.
I have been in a drama slump for almost five months. I haven't been into anything recently but I believe this drama just cured it. The first four episodes were pure cinema. The underwater scenes in particular are just gorgeous.
It was a really cute rom com. I do feel like the second couple had a better storyline and romance arc and I did feel as though the ending was a bit rushed but this was a really enjoyable drama. An 8.5/10.
How many more people are going to sue saying their movies have the same plotline? I guess everyone is a thief or maybe just maybe there's nothing about Squid Game that's so polterizing that similar people have come up with the same concept. It's just the fact that this was the project that became popular and there's didn't.
This is my favorite airing Kdrama. I like the main couple but the second couple has my full attention the most. Bok Gyu Hyun is so awkward and socially unaware that it's easy to forget this man is an actual CEO. I like how Ja Yeon is written she's sweet but she's no pushover.
I'm interested in the CEO and the author's storyline because the secretary seems well-suited for her. I'm usually not a fan of love triangles but I'm a sucker for the enemies to love trope.
Great chemistry, great acting, and smart characters. Solid 9/10 for me. Sometimes the humor was out of place and the ending felt rush, so that knocked it down a point for me, but still a really good drama that I'd rewatch again in the future.
