Finished SFD on June 5th, 2024. What will I do now?
Ahh and for Joy of Life, you can easily find the full series on YouTube. The tv channel or maybe the web platform upload it there together with the English subtitles. You might need to use VPN if you can't find one. It's a rare masterpiece in pile of not so satisfying C-Dramaland I found because of my boredom. Truly well written story deserves to try at least once. Enjoy whatever drama you choose next! š

Well Yoo Ah In always serves best of his performance and I never found myself disappointed even once. Although some drama was ridiculous like Fashion King, but that one too I enjoy as High Schooler š

It's a bit different compared to other C-period dramas, you may really want to check on at least one episode.
If still don't like it then you might want to go with Tree With Deep Roots, it's somehow felt like the SFD sequel but I like SFD better.
If you want period drama with a bit more modern touch in it, Mr. Sunshine will be a good choice. The FML here is strong šŖ
I honestly like Haechi too, couldn't compare it with SFD but good enough to soothe the thirst.
Or if you are still hungry for Yoo Ah In's performance, just try his period film The Throne. He played Lee Bang Won's descendants, so with his appearance, you will feel like that's part of his Karma from his previous life š
And the last! I am currently bingeing on it and still in episode 5, the Japanese drama Shogun. This one is good too, I am obsessed! š„°
I think you should go and watch the Chinese drama adaptation of this movie, it makes more sense. Thai made things…
I tried one episode and traumatised! My P'Shone is my High School crush, part of my most beloved memory, I can not perceived anyone other than Mario as P'Shone. It's like watching Harry Potter played by other actor but Daniel Radcliffe
Just rewatch it š¤ Oh God! As good as ever! Brings back alot of memory š„° I watched it for the first time when I was 15/16, few months after that I have my exchange program to a school in Trang, Thailand. It was more than a decade ago. Time sure flies... It more than just a movie or memory contains my most precious teenage life. It's like unlocking the younger version of me šŗ
Wdym comes to the court trial full of confidence only with one scheme, cheaply predictable at that? What makes…
Tell me Rocky, why everyone kept thinking I watch the Fox Matchmaker or something drama just based on this one comment I wrote? š I don't even know what drama that is
I don't even trash talking this drama yet, just like what you stated, I agree with it because of both lead chemistry and my boredom that I am enjoying this drama. It's not even bad at all, I just found their problem solving logic questionable š
Honestly, it is enjoyable but rather ridiculous.I found myself getting ready for this drama every single afternoon…
Wdym comes to the court trial full of confidence only with one scheme, cheaply predictable at that? What makes that elder princess think that revealing Jiang Li as Xue Fang Fei would do her favour? Let's say, she was just a mad woman or anything similar... It doesn't make sense lay princess!!! You've been scheming and bothering the court all this year with that brain of yours? Screaming when you didn't get your way? Dancing on your way to the court hall? In front of all officials and the king? Even if he is just a puppet king (yet I saw no puppet master till this point), he is still the king! For your basic dignity as a royal, even if it is just an act, stop dancing in public, would you? 𤣠The way problems are solved in Xue Fang Fei's hometown too š very idealist eh! Bearable! This drama is good, watchable, and fast-paced. Just frustrates me with the way they solve every conflict. Like, what? Just like that? This elder princess didn't scare me at all, I feel like if I confronted her a little bit I could burn her in the fire. She's a very straightforward and open book. I rather face her than the other Elder Princess from next-door drama.
Honestly, it is enjoyable but rather ridiculous. I found myself getting ready for this drama every single afternoon at the same exact time (it means I am excited about it). The drama didn't even fall into any mainstream trope I was tired of. Both ML and FL have good character design and amazing chemistry. But every time they resolved the conflict, I felt like, "Dang! Did they play Dumb and Dumber or what?!" š¤
Maybe if I stop procrastinating, go shower and feed myself instead of staring at the clock, the drama too will stop procrastinate and ready to watch once I am full and clean š
Don't think so. But its the flaw of this series. FX should be struggled to just have intention to kill her brother,…
FX was only 18 when first met TZQ. He might be older in the mind, but have been living in seclusion and simplicity of village life for 18 years. When he met TZQ, he finally feel some adrenaline and excitement after his teacher left him. Meeting with TZQ gave FX a glimpse of hope in his monotone life. It's like making friend for the first time. He also his first person. And FX yet to know what kind of world he living in. You could say half naive modern-minded guy.
TZQ death was a big punch for him. FX in season two would not run to kill Lin Gong blindly like what he did. Because FX in S1 yet to use with the deep of schemes he about to involve himself to.
We could say, FX as characters did developed beautifully. It's not ridiculous, it's the way Wang Juan make his character and the plot move reasonably and I agree with him.
