I don't know if it has any correlation with history or anything. But in my grandma old house or other relatives that lives in the old houses in rural villages, the floor often made of stones or I am not sure how to explain it, but something like mixture of soil and cement but not cement 😅 yeah, basically when the weather get hot the house and street would get dry and dusty. So in the afternoon my grandma will spray the yard and road in front of the house with water. Some of my relatives in villages would do the same with their house floor. Well, I saw alot of this practice when I was young, but not much today.
For both season of a series get 9 ratings is rare, isn't it? 😊 I enjoy this story too much, will rewatch both season in rows right after the summer holiday comes. I will just locked myself in my home full of food, snacks, and beverages and only watching drama for 3 days straight! I might as well put my phone in aeroplane mode 😅
I feel like the Qing Emperor from JoL lol 🤣 I got used to wreck my brain every day for two weeks in JoL and now I saw through the plot and each character intention smoothly 😒 what a JoL effect is this 🤭
Don't know how many times did I anticipate the plot will turned into those classic trope but it didn't! 😲 The plot and politic in this drama might not as complicated and satisfying as JoL, but it's good on its own way. Compared to other that aired recently. The fact that I excitedly waited for it every time I wake up in the morning 🌞

And it was goodddd 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭 This drama have amazing cinematographer lol 🙀🙀🙀🙀 The story is good too, I'm intrigued! Still in ep 8, because morning already come and the boy need to go to kindergarten, but I'm hooked! Although, I got bored lil bit with the mingyi scenes (maybe because I was sleepy already) but it still 👍🏻 ML and FL have their acting and character spotted on! 🥰🥰🥰

Fair enough! But for me regrets are for something I missed yet if granted a chance to turn back the time, I'd make a different decision to correct my mistake.
But in the emperor's case, I was sceptical about his willingness to correct the past. Even when he isn't actively involved in the murder, he has the knowledge, power, and a chance to save his beloved. After all that she's done for Qing, shouldn't she at the very least deserve such respect? But he let her go like that, at her most fragile moment. That's why, although I understand him as a ruler, I laughed at him as a human. Put me in YQM's shoes, what's his regret for? I wished you just be all cold-hearted so that I could hate you to my heart's content. So it's cruel of you not to even give me that justification.
This story makes me grateful for my mundane life 😅

Empress dowager did pushed the idea. But in the end of the day, he's not stupid! The Emperor just need a reason to turn blind eyes. If He really loves YQM and hurt by her death, wouldn't he secretly kill everyone involved already? Including E.dowager? The one massacre capital back when YQM death was CPP and the emperor was just play along.
