I'm not in Li Lun's camp LOL, but you DO realise that's not quite the problem you think it is, right? :D (Because, hello, have you SEEN Li Lun? There'd be queues out his door to the other side of the town :D)

This is like the drama was the love child of The Untamed and Wonderland of Love, only with some sprinkles of tragedy sown in for future use.

The whole drama set is a chem lab, complete with explosive reactions, LOL.

I took it that he still doesn't think a HE is possible for him - he'll see everybody get to that happy end, but him, not so much. So it was more of a bittersweet reminder that he, Zhu Yan... is not included. YET AGAIN.

I know, ZYC didn't mean it that way... but it did sound that way.

Oh, and ZYC doing puppy eyes - Don't you want to be my friend any more??

This ep was also full of great moments :D

I'm so glad Bai Jiu came clean so fast and that ZYC is still giving him chances - but ZY's senses are still all sealed up... it only takes one needle and everything's over. I hope Bai Jiu knows how to undo every seal...

Zhu Yan, so coquettish, LOL - There are obvious reasons why everybody is after ME, but, Baize Goddess, what did you do so that everybody is also after YOU? :D

Also, Ying Lei's GIGGLE!!! Let him giggle some more :D

OMG ZY had already killed Li Lun all those years ago, it just took him so long to realise he's dead... Does ZY still have the ever-burning wood thing in him?! Or did it get transferred to Li Lun and was enough to burn him through in that time he was released after the seal kept him alive?...

What do they mean, PSJ's brother?! Did they MAKE Bai Jiu from Pei SiHeng's blood or something?! He seems to be something special, is THAT what they used all those demons for - making a Divine Wood hybrid to use in the future?!

Yan An is SUCH a fine specimen of man, he turned my head these two eps. I don't even care he's evil - when he said he knows people always hate demons, I wanted to give him a hug and assure him not ALL people would hate him. In fact, it's the opposite, LOL. And he still managed to die quite fast AND hurt Zhu Yan yet again when he revealed what's killing him... How much more can ZY take before he breaks again?!

ALSO, who the f is that demon Wen Xiao? Did the Chongwu squad and Dr. Wen have her MADE too?!

Zhu Yan (inquisitive):Hmm?!
Zhuo YiChen (biting): Shut UP!
Zhu Yan (agreeing): Hmm...

These two have evolved to not needing words to communicate. (Also, Li Lun's FACE! Baby, stop grinding your teeth, LOL. They're an item and you're third-wheeling them).

Also the final twist: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

If that sword breaks, it'll break ZYC's (and mine) heart...

Umm, okay, if someone has to do it, I guess I'll just volunteer. For positive karma. *wink*

Such a long goodbye to a one-time character - I guess they used it to make us remember the other charas who died before we even met them - like ZYC's family, and Wen Xiao's master, and everybody else etc. I don't care - Zhu Yan took the most care to make sure he's not guilty of anybody else dying and they chose NOT to stop him. It's on them and that's it. It's unfair to blame him for this one death - the Mountain God chose to self-destruct, himself. Nobody asked him to. (ZY's expression when he comes out of his mindless rage - the joy at first, then the heartbreak... oof. Great scene).

I am pretty sad Ying Lei won't go with them any more... because it just hit me - Bai Jiu IS a spy. He should be the one going to get Zhu Yan's core when he dies, right? Because if PSJ didn't do it... someone DID. Ying Lei would stop him if he were there, now... Who knows.

I still like ep 16 more, it's such a great blast of a long fight... so much prepared, so little left to chance by Zhu Yan and STILL they managed it LOL. I guess even being a Demon Lord doesn't grant you authority over mortals who really should know better by now. Though I did appreciate the discussion between ZYC and Zhu Yan - that's tough love right there. Maybe it'll help him a bit, if he gets another reason to live - because dammit, she is now being standoffish, why not, right? Not like he had any control over it...

This is the halfway point... I don't want this to end and at the same time I want to see what comes next. So hard...

What's with the timer, why is it 19th coming up?! what happened with 18th?

I am kind of mad at everybody in the team right now - so this guy TOLD you he can't control it, TOLD you what to do to stop him and you do not do what he told you and when things go haywire it's HIS fault?! READ THE FREAKING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE DEVICE DAMMIT!

Anyway - it's not his fault, and even if it were, it's still not his fault.

And the VERY BEST and blood-curling scene isn't even anything bloody but the scene where Zhu Yan casually moves the corpses out of his way because he's too lazy to go around them... wow, that gave me goosebumps.

I think this is not where ZYC kills him, actually. They prepared before... they'd have something to make sure Zhu Yan doesn't go on rampage again... Please.

Ep 16 - sweet mother of dragons, this is the most EPIC showdown I've ever watched in a cdrama. I can't even begin to explain how good it is.

Except he doesn't ever say sorry, More like he has this long suffering look, like "well, when you're THIS hot, things have a tendency to just... happen."

LOL, so many empty or very new accounts are coming out of the woodwork trying to tell everyone how slow and boring this drama is - we GOT it, guys, you're stanning someone else or trying hard to push up other dramas - nobody cares, though :D
