Disclaimer: I hate everything and anything related to Les Liaisons Dangereuses, from de Laclos' novel to any and each adaptation ever made. So that is to say, I will never watch this, not even the trailer.
That being said, I'm here for the schadenfreude LOL. Carry on :D
As an aside, I really really liked JCW's mid-2010s dramas, I wish he found the knack of picking good plots again. For some reason, most of the latest dramas he picked were drops or low-ratings for me.
LOL that OP. "People say that when someone dies, a crow comes to carry their soul to the other side". I was expecting Eric Draven to come running under the flying crow LOL.
I'm not sold so far. There are cute characters, and it looks like they put some effort into the decor, at least, but the music is kind of bland and the action moves very slowly for this kind of plot. Sailub is smouldering sexy, Milk is damn cute, and so is Newyear, but something's still missing. (Sorry, Otto, my disgust with King carried over LOL.) And while I do like the decor, they kind of spent a whole ep just inside one set (with small escapes to some other places for very short scenes).
I would have preferred that the songs weren't AI generated, but I'm trying to be understanding of their budget…
TBH I like the OP a lot. I don't know if they're wholly AI generated or only some parts, but the voice is haunting, the lyrics are good, and the whole OP sequence is catchy. I hope they do have a complete song version and not just intro-length.
Episodes this short should be made illegal. Anyway, now we know. A-Lie works for Casia, and He Yao might have…
Let's see. Someone in Herin might have let loose some info on A-Lie's mission, otherwise Casia wouldn't have planted He Yao to wait on his return to his car with the prize - the sought-after Immune Subject.
There obviously never was a little brother He Yao was looking for and there couldn't be after so much time (and he's also suspiciously clean, all things considered). They set up a trap at the airport where their people could come and get the subject in a safe, well-guarded environment.
The other option is that it's Casia's people, who maybe are spying on A-Lie's navigator AI and can tell he's not that certain he should be bringing A-Zai over to them. So they might have sent more ruthless people to collect A-Zai and maybe get rid of A-Lie.
Though I tend to believe it's the first option.
Who's with me when I am suspecting the world-renowned-MIT-prize-winning chemist who dabbles in genetics to be the one who started the apocalypse accidentally or not?
Anyway, now we know. A-Lie works for Casia, and He Yao might have just started the apocalypse. Damn. And they got stupid and went along with him right into the trap.
Theory under spoiler.
ETA Also I suspect someone in the production team to be part of MDL's comment section LOL, A-Lie said the exact same thing someone in the comments said - "in the apocalypse people are more dangerous than zombies". Heheh.
The friend wasn't Nour, so he could get cancer and die.
Nour don't play by vampire rules. Ken bit him on the neck but didn't kill him, and then they were friends (maybe they knew each other from before too). The friend wasn't Nour.
He did seem to get over his cancer that he expected to kill him, so maybe the bite did help a little. But he did die in the end, so he wasn't immortal like a Nour.
I'm glad the studio is taking action, I've grown tired of seeing made-up scandals.
Anyway. WHAT THE HECK IS THAT TITLE GORE THOUGH?!
At first reading I thought that the STUDIO falsified chats and was being investigated by the police. Dammit. I admit English is not my first or second language, but still. What the heck WAS that title?!
F!king hell, it is Chita. He's Nour, and he HEARD her there. I guess next ep, if Prae hurts Dr Ji, Chita goes…
The femoral artery is on the inside of the thigh though and lower it gets behind the knee, she was losing blood on her leg just above the knee. And it's suspicious she managed to flee from a Nour. He or she must've been somewhat impaired. Seriously, what if it was Chita?! That would break Ji's heart.
Yeah they showed Ken not killing his friend - who maybe wasn't his friend at the time, what was he doing until then?!! Is our virgin bottom not so innocent?!! Was he hunting down people and drinking their blood straight from the source?!! Eeeeeeesh!! I mean, it's only been a few decades since the friend (maybe he donated more blood regularly), but he's more than a century old and there were no bloodbanks in that era. Raw truths in the future, I guess...
This was a very short long episode. First signs of love: feed your bae old, very old (ancient) noodles. *Bae eats…
F!king hell, it is Chita. He's Nour, and he HEARD her there. I guess next ep, if Prae hurts Dr Ji, Chita goes offline and comes back a beast. OR, Dr Ji finds out he's a Nour too.
Considering his past history with Nour, that might be a deal breaker for him. Or maybe his lil' bro will see it, too. (BTW lil' bro is kind of a coward. He breaks the poor boy's heart 'cause he's afraid... of losing him?! Go friends with benefits then, LOL).
Anyway - would Peter become infected 'cause he got struck and bled? Who attacked Ji's mom? Was it Chita?!!!!! Why would a Nour try to eat an elderly woman's leg?! Do Nour get rabies?! Did she get a vaccine?! Did JI get a vaccine?
... How do you vaccinate against Nour?
What was that vinyl record, anyone knows? Sounded kind of nice.
So many questions, so little time...
ETA Though Ken cooking noodles was way too cute. How do you make this - add noodles (nevermind the best-by date, what's that to a Nour), some condiments... What do you mean turn the stove on?! What, why does this need water too?! Cooking instant noodles is HARD. But baby did it for bae. *wipes sweat*
I was kind of certain James will end up in the hospital in septic shock or something LOL.
First signs of love: feed your bae old, very old (ancient) noodles. *Bae eats it, just to make baby happy*
Then: couples' wear LOL. Both of them just suddenly decided it's high time to go to work half-naked. The drama even made sure that if we missed last ep's naked Boss, he'd make a flashback. Look don't touch LOL.
Me: Wow are Boss' shoulders wide. Like OMG wide. And his voice is so sexy and playful. I can see why James - the character - would be so attractive to Ken. Anyway, I'll go dig up some pics from Boss' modeling days.
Peter the character: Nevermind me, just passing by, doing some illegal stuff, kthxbye.
So... the time went by so fast but the ep felt longer. I need more moments of Ken being overcome with the newness of being human.
You're seeing the very awkward phase of their relationship in the drama. It should feel like they're not comfortable…
But the thing is - Shen Mo is not in love. He doesn't actually want MingXuan, who is basically a contract to him. I would not call that "intimate". He's basically a sex worker (though it's never addressed as such in the drama or novel).
Now, in MingXuan's eyes there's a huge problem - won't spoil it here - 'cause he definitely has expectations. Shen Mo isn't in on the program, though.
If you asked me about the original, the protagonist stay in the past. They have their happily ever after. The…
Is it lakorn? 'Cause that would be the first. (I mentioned Moon Lovers but I only watched the SK version and LJG was too little onscreen IMHO so I wasn't impressed overall. I watch Thai BL because of all the pretty boys...) (*hanging head* Yes I know I'm shallow. But they're so pretty!)

Their dad was scum, walking out of his family like that.
