Wow, they're even WORSE than they previously seemed. WHAT, she was two-timing them?!! She WANTED a polyamorous…
I think she's a good actress - good looks only take you so far, and she managed to build a whole career with just the first major help due to her betrayal. But JeongWoo knows her well, they were friends before. And he seems to have grown some good instincts in prison (not as before, when he was friends with all those scum bastards), maybe he's shying away instinctively too.
And given that all three of his best friends turned out to have betrayed him and killed their other friend, then pinned it on him... maybe finally he's learned not to be too trusting any more. (Which is too bad, but then he's an adult now, playing an adults' world field where the reward is his own peace of mind and/or life. He can't afford to trust easily any more.)
So is the parent story needed for this one? 'Cause I've only watched this one (the series version). Sweet and cute, undecided ending (is there more of them in ULS?)
That WAS fun (despite the subject). This is the best I've seen Kim WooBin looking ever. When a minor character mentioned he looks imposing - oh hell yeah he does. And he has a beautiful smile (he knows it, too).
The action sequences are great (though at one point they're brawling with a leg of ham and I was thinking we'd landed in Under the Microscope 'verse LOL),
I hope he'll take some action role in a drama, too (and not the Black Knight type either). I'd watch that :D
I am just happy they did take the time to include Leader's part in JT's childhood (yeah they TLed the cat's name as Captain, I read the fan TL where it's Leader and it stuck). I hope SO much they'll let in the next cat LOL.
But I also have to say that the realisation this won't be the complete live adaptation of the novel did take the wind from my sails a bit. Now I'll just wait and wonder if and when there will be the second half of the story I love...
😂😂It's just as you said. He has to get wounded one way or another in every episode so he has to heal soon…
But... but it doesn't compute. NSC is obviously much thinner and a bit taller than GJW.
I wonder how ANYTHING fits LOL.
Though when GJW is out by the gas station, he's back to wearing his distressed pullovers, I like that look on him. He should just remember to shave from time to time LOL, even NSC remembered to.
General question I have and theories:💥 Who drove the car?Either NG or an adult💥 How did chief find out about…
Ha Seol started it all with bringing the bone back. If she hadn't, GJW wouldn't have had an ounce of hope of even brining the case up for review. It all snowballed from there.
And yes, she's still playing a major role - didn't you notice how crazy she's driving NaGyeom? Things are about to happen.
PS Both girls - BoYeong and NaDeum - died in the warehouse/barn. Do you wonder why did the politician care about some nobody girl disappearing so she went promising things to police officers that would solve the case? She never cared about BoYeong... it's something else.
All of the sudden, all dams are breaking. Now I feel it's moving too fast, LOL. It's a good thing I have a general…
Wow, they're even WORSE than they previously seemed.
WHAT, she was two-timing them?!! She WANTED a polyamorous relationship?!! She was going to be one of them's WIFE?!
AAAAAAARGGGGHHHHHH
The only good thing about GeonOh's fate is that his father is actually suffering. DIE MFer, DIE! And he pressures MinSoo into confession but won't confess himself! The bastard! I hope he gets a true kdrama ending.
Otherwise, I am also really glad they're keeping pretty faithful to the novel. I was afraid they'd get NaGyeom out of that day's happenings or something... but nope. We're going full on true betrayal and I'm here for every second of it.
P. S. For a respected actress, NaGyeom/DeokMi really didn't convince JeongWoo, you can see it on his face.

One episode per week is still enough to get high blood pressure hahaha~ *angry laugh*
A bit dated, but wow, one of the most different than usual endings for such a drama. I quite liked it.
This was my first Oguri Shun drama, and he can be quite intense but I kept looking over to Aoki Munetaka, LOL (I've known him from the RuroKen series of movies).
The rest of the cast is quite good too - there must've been something in the water mid-2010s, there were so many good dramas with police stories, and this one is one of them. I just wish there were more eps (I know about the sequel and the spin-off, I just wanted more like this).
The stories got darker toward the end of the drama, with more cases getting unsatisfactory (for the police officers and the watchers) endings, but it was good. And now it's the middle of the night and I have to decide if I can watch the sequel immediately or it can wait til tomorrow LOL. Such is life.

It didn't strike me they look so much alike when he was in High School Return of a Gangster. Strange what styling can do.
I guess she's a good actress for everyone else but she can't fool GJW.

All hail SangCheol!! Go get them, NSC!
