How lowest am I for enjoying my 10x misery waiting full week just for a 33(average )mnt ep??how can I describe…
Think about it as if - instead of just binging it and being done with it in 6 hours, you're just enjoying the sweet and painful ride. For some dramas, it's totally worth it.
I'm so frustrated with Yuan. What the hell did you expect would happen, huh? Meeting with a bunch of gangsters??…
He expected to die, that's what he expected. He even said so.
You forget they were both in gangland life before, he knows the stakes. He knows now Le is back, something's got to give in order to appease the gangsters. They were quiet because they didn't know what Le wanted done to the brothers. But they also knew Le was almost arrested - and them along with him - because of Wei Qian. So in order to wash their reputations as true gangsters, they'd probably just go after Wei Qian.
So Yuan just decided he'd go instead and let them beat him to death (if he couldn't convince them to let the both of them go) so they'd have their reputation and Wei Qian would have his life.
What he doesn't get, LOL, because he's stupid in love, is that Wei Qian never stopped being Big Bro and WOULD take care of it himself, as soon as he finds out.
Also, even if he's mature for his age and he HAS been raised by WQ... Yuan doesn't really have a solid foundation in trust issues when dealing with dangerous things. He's too young yet to reason it all through, even if the want is there. TBH, just see who taught him how to live - someone who relentlessly and totally selflessly sacrificed his own life for the lives of his siblings and friends. It's basically what he was raised to be like - someone who wants and accepts and takes the initiative of sacrificing himself for the ones he loves.
Which just means, WQ raised him well, even if a little too much like himself, LOL.
tbh, compared to the actors in latest BLs? they look pretty good. I can really commend the actors in perfect propose…
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, anyway.
For the two dramas you've mentioned, I found the leads looking better than the leads in this one (again, according to my preferences). That doesn't mean these guys are ugly; just that there was something more to my taste for the other two pairings.
But in the end, if they are lovable, they pass my threshold test LOL. I don't need them to be glamourous, just nice guys (in the actual sense of the word).
I'm going to go ahead and BET that Kazuhito has ALWAYS had a crush on Ryota, and that's why none of his former…
I know, I read the info, LOL, but I didn't want to check the manga because I would read it all (TL or raw, I don't care) and get mad if they changed too much or went in a different direction if I liked it :D
I already did that with a few manga/manhwa-based dramas when I just couldn't wait for the next ep... but I kind of like to be suprised, more. And I really like the slow-paced, homely universe they're reaching for with this dorama. It deserves its weekly attention so far :D
Male lead actor is fourty years old and he looks nothing like thirty. Ji Hyun woo’s acting makes me cringe because…
His resting b*tch face isn't drop-dead handsome, true, but when he smiles his whole face lights up. I tried to make up my mind if I actually like him (his looks, that is, not the whole acting thing) for this role, and TBH, he grew on me. I still don't like those deep lines on his face when he's NOT smiling or being active in any way... but when he IS smiling or speaking, or doing anything that requires his face not to be still... he IS handsome.
As for acting - I haven't watched him in anything else yet. From three eps in this drama I've seen him in, he can act, IMHO. I particularly like the way he just blends in the group yet still stands out a bit (mainly because I'm looking for him, TBH), that's a nice thing to be able to do as a lead when you're NOT supposed to be the most important character in that scene.
So far (ep5) I'm loving the makjang and can probably see a lot of possible future plots LOL. 10% in, let's see the rest :D
The leads aren't the most handsome of the latest BL doramas, but they do become charming. Also, that fridge in…
I'm going to go ahead and BET that Kazuhito has ALWAYS had a crush on Ryota, and that's why none of his former relationships (if he even had any, LOL, I don't think I'd trust his official playboy persona) ever worked.
It was hilarious how Ryota kept finding plus points for Kazuhito and wondering why none of the girls were impressed (as he was hahaha~) and Kazuhito admitting he was never like that with them... But he is like that with Ryota. Ryota should pick up the hint LOL - I guess he won't because misunderstanding of the lover is one of the BL tropes.
So far so good. I've become used to weekly BL doramas, now I'll probably at least try to watch any of them airing LOL.

Also, that fridge in their room has been to the wars LOL. That door has been punched in in a few places, I can relate to strange dips on fridge doors hahaha~. I liked that little detail (and I'd like it even MORE if it wasn't even intentional, LOL).
instead of telling whats happened in the past, that flashback is more like to showing the ml trauma imo. youll…
Does it really need to be shown 4 times in the same episode, at about the same length and including the same shots, though?
And I still am not motivated to watch more. I actually like the show-not-tell stories, but this one doesn't seem (to me) to have a lot to tell (OR show).
Nice and cool shots and an eerie atmosphere do not make up for a lack of much plot.
I might be wrong, but the editor of the first ep seems to be of the same editing school as the one in TIH. There were numerous (and kind of repetitive) flash-backs with no context, there was not really much happening in the first ep (of a 10-ep series) and TBH everything was kind of underwhelming.
I don't feel motivated to watch the second ep at all, even if I really wanted to see Ju JiHoon in a drama again.
does anyone know the correct order how to watch it
What do you mean by order? There's just the original drama (50 eps), the shortened special edition of the drama (20 eps) and the two side-character-based movies (you can watch them or not depending on if you're interested in seeing some more stories with some of the same characters, but the movies don't include the main characters).
So, if you're interested - just watch the drama and decide later on the other options.
Be warned though that there are two timelines - the present (eps 1-2 and then 33-50) and the past (eps 3-33) and they should be watched in the drama order because there's a setup, a long flashback about how things came to be and then the latter half of the drama solves the mysteries that remained unsolved from the first half.
The original version (the longer one) is the better one, IMHO, the special edition is just re-edited and some details removed.
The future changes... but not the right way. This is going to be a painful ride. But - at least he HAD noticed…
It'll probably turn out that he never jumped in the present timeline, but was (maybe) pushed as he had just taken some meds. But it seems she can't actually STOP events from happening - his shoulder appears to be injured in the preview, so I guess it's over for swimming and he will get into singing anyway.
It's a bummer she can't tell anyone about the time jump. Imagine all the fortunes she'd change with future info LOL.
This is cute. So, so cute. I almost forgot about the total solar eclipse while watching it LOL. (If you aren't in a total eclipse area, NASA is providing telescope feeds on its youtube channel,)
This reminds me very much of Someday or One Day, in a very good way. I hope it keeps it up to a HEA! *crossing fingers*
Oh well, that's life.

Okay, not going to lie, that's an awesome line. If WQ doesn't fall now, he won't ever.
Though him crying so desperately and heartbroken over idiot Yuan offering himself up for Russian roulette was also just as good as a confession, LOL.
PS "Don't forget you're still on trial" is also a good line, LOL. Poor San Pang :D All those years of brothership/hood and now?! :D
Also, Dr. Lin is the most handsome character in this drama LOL. He needs his own love story or a whole side-story drama, I don't mind.

Sorry not sorry, dropping this.

They do recaps.
Miyata-san... so damn sexy to the end.

But - at least he HAD noticed her even before.
