Title Destined Spoiler
So... given JiuSi's father reaction each time he's reminded of Luo and even of the town, there's something fishy…
So... mentioning the fire (that then spread to the Su mansion) is pretty ominous. I hope it doesn't involve anything to do with GJS's dad. Maybe LZS's mom went crazy and set the fire herself, Mrs Rochester-style LOL.

Title Destined Spoiler
I've been watching NLB for about three months now, barely past the halfpoint and it's getting really really draggy.…
As I already said, I have zero problems with anyone else's tastes and preferences (that's why I used a spoiler tag, I don't want to turn this into a general quarrel.

You're obviously entitled to your own opinion on anything you watch, listen to, read, etc, everybody is. But it's all just simply "it just hit better with me. I liked it better".

For ME, this one hits better than NLB that I've already been struggling with. I do mean to finish NLB but it'll be a while, since it's like watching paint dry some eps. Whereas this one is fast-paced and engaging enough that I can watch it as it airs and pretty soon after the eps are released.

Which means to say - again - we're all different and we all like different things. The part that doesn't sit well with me, though, is comparing two (or more) different dramas and basing valuation on that comparison. I mean, maybe this one too will become draggy in the middle or even fail the ending (it's happened before). But it's not been doing that so far. Or not for me, anyway.

I felt the need to reply to your comment just because I am NOT comparing it to anything I've watched (or not yet, not until it's done) and just enjoying the ride. If it were to not fit what I like (I'm currently watching other dramas that do NOT mostly fit my likes and have commented on their respective pages), I would refer only to what I don't like about it, and not in comparison to anything else, but with what I was expecting from it or felt didn't go well. My 2cents too :D

Lol was the cameraman shocked? 🤣🤣
He didn't actually do it perfectly. IMHO it needs a few more re-takes.

For science.

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
Nope, they are totally dead, deader than dead ☹☹☹MY: Gods can't be reborn.SJ: She was already dead in the…
He didn't completely give over to ADG, so he might not have actually been all the way a god. So there's still a chance.

And the opposite hypothesis says that, IF he did go all the way Devil God... then the DG is absolutely the only one who DOESN'T die, LOL, or if he does, he doesn't stay dead because people continue to do evil stuff so he gets re-made.

I want the first hypothesis to be the true one though :D

That's a cool box, too.

... I'm going to make myself such a bracelet, once I get similar stones, LOL. I am not sure if they were all stones (garnet or amethyst?), but there seemed to be some crackle glass in it and then the silver. Oh well, it'll be a project :D

It’s not so good in comparison to “ new Life begins “.In my eyes the actress in NLB was more charismatic…
I've been watching NLB for about three months now, barely past the halfpoint and it's getting really really draggy. ML is basically out of the picture most eps, it's all girl power (but they don't even have all that much power). Not saying I won't finish it, but it's starting to feel like a chore and not a fun thing to watch.

Which just means to say, to each their own. One can absolutely enjoy whatever they enjoy and there's no need to bring down another drama just so the favourite one wins "better". It's not exactly a competition.

"Girls can be sworn brothers, too!"Right on!! :D
So... given JiuSi's father reaction each time he's reminded of Luo and even of the town, there's something fishy there. Since YuRu's mom doesn't remember a kid her age, he was probably something hidden by the family - is there a chance LZS is JiuSi's step-brother, born a bastard or something? Or if not, did GJS's dad do something to cause the downfall of the Luos and so he has a life grudge against them?

Anyway, I just want JiuSi to be Top1 in the exam and that they get away cleanly and leave everybody frustrated! And that there's some clever trick not to lose half their fortune just because they're moving away. Which god do I need to bow to in order to make this happen, LOL? :D

I agree that the boy in this drama isn't interesting enough to make us believe that he has impact on her more…
They only released 2 eps so far, and I didn't read the webtoon so I have nothing to compare it with. Yes I'm presuming things because I HAVEN'T read the webtoon. That makes watching a drama, fun. At least for me.

I am sure that as more eps are released, wrong presumptions will be put to the side and new ones will emerge, some of which will also be wrong.

Take it all as it goes, this is meant to be fun, too :D (it is, for me, or I'd stop watching.)

"But what is kinda ridiculous is how this 100+ year old person, who lived through so many revolutions and advances…
I watched quite a few movies and dramas involving immortal characters, and the only thing connecting (most of) them was that the immortal people always wanted to die. Some because they were bored having lived for so long and everyone they had ever loved disappearing from their lives, some because they didn't find the world surprising and interesting any more, some because they were depressed and idiots (that is, ALL the vampire characters.)

Which just basically means that regularly mortal people who write scripts (and even novellists) can't imagine why would anyone actually, for real, WANT to live forever.

So her finding a reason to WANT to go on living, as a person who can't escape death but also can't escape past lives... it's a big thing.

His eyebrows are the best🤩😍
I mean, he HAS to make do with the eyebrows, since he can't wink LOL.

Myself, I seriously appreciate that Roman nose. I'd recognise that profile ANYWHERE.

She was drinking a soft drink called cider
So they made a lemon-flavoured soft drink and just use the title "cider" for it, much like any caffeine-including carbonated drink is nowadays called coke even if there's no relation to CocaCola? Got it :D

Everyday you learn something new :D

She was drinking a soft drink called cider
Cider isn't a soft drink. It's fermented from apples (all fermented drinks have a certain alcohol content, it results because of the fermentation process). In Europe it can have from 1.5 to 12% of alcohol, depending on how it's made and its destination.

Yes, very small alc. content and pasteurised cider can be safely given to kids in pretty small quantities, but it's definitely not a soft drink and kids shouldn't regularly have it. There is a LOT of sugar in it, though :D

Maybe you're confusing it to root beer, which is not really a beer LOL, and it's indeed considered a soft drink?

Edit Wait, I educated myself. It seems that in the US what they call cider is just apple juice, unpasteurised and definitely not fermented so it would probably be considered a soft drink. That is NOT what cider ever was in Europe, LOL.

Yeah, because obviously SuperWoman can only get interested in SuperMan. /jk

She promised his mother she'd take care of him. She died in front of him too (basically on top of him). Their connection was important to her enough to make her wish to reincarnate, as she previously prayed not to ever reincarnate again.

I'd say there's enough substance to their relationship already.

PS Other than remembering her past lives, there's nothing special about her in the end. Yes, she has lots of lifetime memories to draw upon, but how many of those are actually useful? Is anyone interested what a little tribal kid did a thousand years ago in the middle of nowhere, living the regular peasant life?! Or what happened in the life she was in Spain or Arabia somewhere? She wasn't historically important, why would she need to have a special connection to someone VVIP from a societal POV? She has normal reasons because she's a normal person who just happens to have a not-normal memory :D

Ding YongDai again being the failing, past-his-prime emperor LOL. I've seen him in NiF, TBoY and now here. He's…
"In the Gu family, WOMEN RULE" LOL

Zero shame involved. He was PROUD to let the world know this rooster house is ruled by the hens hahaha.

"I'll do anything so you don't cry any more" D'awwwww~

"I won't let a girl sleep on the floor!!"
"Who says I'll sleep on the floor? I'll be sleeping in the bed with you." Awww~~~

Him pretending to be sick just so he could touch her hand a bit more often. Him telling her she'll be safe even if his family won't be, and her hearing him. Awwww~~~~

Can these two be any cuter? They're so damn cute. And he can get to be so manly if he means to - that flogging scene was the best. I hope Zhou Ye really does help them and turns out to be a good guy in the end.

"You humiliated my wife. APOLOGISE TO HER!!" That came out like he was channeling Inigo Montoya LOL. I bet they had a lot of fun filming that.

Ah, so many sweet gems in these two eps, and I bet there's something interesting going on with the cliffie game they're playing :D

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
Then how about a grown ass man living in a young girl's body but have a romantic feeling for a 9 years old boy?…
So, I went and re-watched the beginning of the first ep to see how off I was. When they met in her previous life, she was 12 and he was around 9. She also promised his dying mother to take care of him (it's not like she's just obsessed out of the blue with this person). She remembered her past lives when she was 9, indeed, but it's STILL after the setting of character traits and personality formation period. She is NOT Ju-Won.

She is now 25+ and he's in his 30s (I am not certain how much older than her). I'm assuming each are functioning, independent adults. He could just push her away, it's not like if she wants to marry him he has to give in.

FL doesn't refer to herself as Uncle, it's his/her former niece using it and by now it's a special name between them. She is NOT that man any more, she just remembers being him a while back. It's not that hard.

PS The mother who said she matured overnight and doesn't seem like her daughter is the one in the previous life, and it happened when Ju-Won was 12. And TBH, judging just by these two successive personalities, JiEum and Ju-Won are way different already - one is serious, calm and given to few words, the other is an extrovert, confident, very active woman (as was the young girl JiEum).

But also TBH, I am not into defending drama characters either. So obviously each may make of it whatever they want :D

Then how about a grown ass man living in a young girl's body but have a romantic feeling for a 9 years old boy?…
I am beginning to feel like I was the only one who had basic Psychology courses around here, LOL.

So, let me try to explain (again, I did this before in this comment section).

Personality and character traits are formed sometime around the "critical development" period from about 3 to around 7 years old. From then on, they tend to mature a bit (depending on stressors, conditions, environment etc) but never change all that much throughout life. Some apparently irrecoverable losses can be seen in feral kids who are found / rescued after the age of 7 (or more) so that they never can rejoin human society as we understand it (including fundamental things like speech or an ability to learn/change).

FL in this drama mentioned already her (fantasy story) past lives' memories return to her when she's in the 12-14 years of her current life. Which is to say, her personality and THIS identity are very much formed and firm. There's no sudden "old man's mind" jumping in the body of a 12-years old girl. It's a matter of gaining sudden knowledge of former things - like if you had had a series of very vivid dreams that you won't forget.

There's no eeck factor (unless one chooses to get eeck-ed out by whatever they believe happens, and that's their own choice, LOL). JiEum isn't even her former (also female) personality, she just remembers this kid who interim grew up, and finds him again just because the trauma they both went through. It's as simple as that.

Now they're both mature individuals and can choose to do whatever they want. Even if (supposedly) there's a age gap, they're both adults and not too young adults at that, so I think we're safe from anything illegal or immoral.

She did say in the second ep that there are two categories of people. One with the people she can tell everything…
I'm going to keep playing this game LOL and remind you that she could have done that to remind HIM of his asking her into marriage before the accident :D
