Title Being a Hero Spoiler
So there's an interesting relationship between Chen Yu and Wu Zhen Feng. Feng might have been a policeman, as…
Actually what came through for Chen Yu was that he's rather calculated, or at least intelligent enough to pick up clues. I mean, they said he ws first in class in his major. He didn't seem that emotional to me, maybe feeling guilty or something. But it's early scenes yet.

And yeah, the twin jades (LOL, wink) necklaces do look a bit tacky/romantic. BUT let's let the boys be :P

Still, the broken corner of WZF's jade necklace and his wounds show he's the one who killed the cook/druggie. Even if they explain it away as self-defense, I don't think it works that way in China. He (Feng) is still a killer... And he's on a vigilante track. We'll see where that leads.

Sadly, I'm one of those who studies in perfect silence, because I am easily distracted (yes, even by low and calming BGM LOL).

I'm going to have to try some lo-fi some time, though, just for a look on the other side of the studying fence :D

Title Being a Hero Spoiler
I can see why they would get shy of showing it on TV, actually given the current political situation, I'm kind…
So there's an interesting relationship between Chen Yu and Wu Zhen Feng. Feng might have been a policeman, as the description says, but it looks pretty obvious he's a vigilante/killer now, doing justice his own way (again, I'm amazed they allowed this. Maybe they had some terms for c/rights expiration, LOL, as with TOoL, and risked it to air it anyway so not to lose all that work and money - wow the list of sponsors at the end! - that went into it).

There's no inkling as to CY's family background for the first ep, and given they're all mostly in uniforms I guess the intimate aspects will relate to friendship between two cops or newly graduated officers or whatever. There's time.

I wonder how they'll manage the corrupt Cpt Liu - he couldn't be undercover or a drugs' relation while at the same time sending teams to investigate his link into the network... But there are scenes in the ED that show him standing with the rest of the cops at some monument, probably honouring fallen cops, so that would undermine his corruption role... I'm pretty interested in seeing how they do it.

So, after one episode - CY and WZF will play hide and seek, probably WZF leading the police a merry chase to catch all the druglords, and eventually either 1. WZF ends up in prison and lives, or 2. he sacrifices himself to save CY and dies.

I hope I'm wrong and there's plenty of turns and twists and nothing close to what it appears to be from ep 1 :D

Title Being a Hero
I can see why they would get shy of showing it on TV, actually given the current political situation, I'm kind of amazed they're releasing it on the web, too. Going by the first episode only (so much to see, so little time! T_T), there's a corrupt cop, drug networks operating freely for years under the nose of said police officer (big no-no), unruly policemen (LOL, talking over their superior, as if :D, but it's a drama, it passes :D), a vigilante ~hero~ with suspect connections etc. I'm sure there'll be a later spin in order to make it all wash and have a nice, censors-approved drama, but so far, it aims at being much darker than expected.

Technically... The OP reminds me of Be Reborn (and I've already recognized a few faces from that series, LOL, DSH you changed teams :D - well, not DSH, Tian Xiao Jie appears to have had a cameo as the officer who got hurt three years back, really hoping he'll be back, he's kind of addicting in a strange way; I also hope I'm not mistaking him for someone else LOL), the edits are also kind of similar (though TBH, it wasn't all that smooth, but as I said, I've only had time for ep 1, I hope they improve as they move along), and there are a few more this reminds me of, in terms of how it's filmed, the light/darkness contrasts, etc (like Medical Examiner Dr Qin, for example). The music, sadly, isn't anything to write home about (or not yet, anyway. The ED is the usual spoiler-full fast cut of all important scenes that they could put in, LOL, and the song, better not listen to it...) The cast - for what I've seen - does a good job, WYB was a little too loud in the first scenes, but I guess it's either the role, or he was still adapting. There's place for improvement, he can do it.

Anyway, onwards to the speculations...

What I like best about this second season is the grinding detective work. Finally someone took the pain to put…
And we have a love triangle LOL, poor detective's going to find out the chief's daughter is really NOT all that into him (or who knows, she might see the light eventually :D)

I do NOT like what's going on with Eun-Hye, those punks are going to cause some real damage, I hope they don't end up killing the grandpa who might want to help her. OJH, hurry up and do something!! Or KDC, but he'd take some hard road to follow, if he knew.

The TJ Group drama is pretty strange - so the mother sent the daughter away and killed herself before her (son? I couldn't make out well who was breaking down the door) family did it, and then the daughter came back for vengeance? And she seems to have some psychosis too, that Tae-Ho knows about and is caring for. At this time, given her words about Hee-Ju, it's either her or Tae-Ho who killed her... The other girls were the serial killer's work (and HIS sister is another piece of work - I get it, she's uncomfortable speaking about it... but people are dead!! He basically confessed to her, she definitely understood that, and she's still not talking? The heck!!)

OJH is smiling a LOT more than in the first season, I like his little not-so-hidden smiles a lot. (So does everybody else, obviously, LOL). KDC learned to play his boss like a fiddle, LOL, I loved how he indirectly told him they gave the case to the other team, while not admitting THEY gave it away LOL.

Much, much love for the team! This is getting really good :)

What I like best about this second season is the grinding detective work. Finally someone took the pain to put it in a drama!! So many days spent watching thousands of recordings, so much footwork to track a killer's and his victims' steps, so much hardship to make an accusation stick, even if you have some proof they're actually the killer. I like it, I want more!

Title Be Reborn
Is this funny by any chance
There are some funny moments, but it's mostly a tense and fast-paced police/heist story.

Is this the first movie of Rorouni Kenshin? should I start with this one? And which is next? Please.
Yes this is the first one in the sequence. Then Kyoto Inferno, then The Legend Ends, then The Final and then The Beginning (yes in that order).

The first four deal with the introduction of the main characters (the first movie stands alone just in case you're not interested to continue though hopefully you will :D) and their adventures to the grand finale in the story and the original source and the last one, The Beginning, shows how it all started. It's a whole different beast and way differently toned story to the first four movies, so it makes sense to consider it also a stand-alone. And it hits different, too, when you've known and (presumably) liked the characters from the other movies.

So my advice is, watch them in the order they were released. That's the order of the plot pacing (as is in the manga, too, and the anime, come to think of it), and that way they tell a complete and great story.

Title The Untamed Spoiler
The sleuth of Ming dynasty.. we’ll its much more light.... compared to this..... I needed something like that…
The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty is being carried by Darren Chen (playing ML Tang Fan) being the most cute ML ever (seriously, cute as in THE cutest), then by Liu Yao Yuan (playing Wang Zhi, a Royal Eunuch) being the most awesome two-faced chaotic good character ever, and by Fu Meng Bo (playing Sui Zhou) being the most stoic PTSD soldier/cook ever. And by Tang Fan being a glutton which makes him attracted to Sui Zhou in the first place, LOL.

Which means to say, it's more of an action/comedy than a romance. Actually, it's so low in the romance quarter, it doesn't even come off as romance. The novel it's based on is also very subtle about it, and most romantic interractions appear in the way the MC and the ML talk to each other (and a bit of that managed to be moved over to the drama). But yes, it's not ANYWHERE near TU in terms of romance. Not even hidden glances there, just a few... suggestive moments LOL. I still would recommend it, because of the trio of the MLs. They're gorgeous. And there's a little girl there who is smarter than the whole lot of them LOL.

If you'd rather watch something with crazy chemistry between (male) leads, there's not a rule you have to contain it to the BL genre (censored of not).

So, not BL, but amazing male/bro chemistry: Under the Skin (CN; warning. This drama CHEATS so hard on not being BL, LOL. But I am happy, because it means there might be a second season in the making :D), The Devil Judge (SK), maybe even Be Reborn (CN).

For BL... well, SK is trying hard and IMHO in the short drama they are making progress - there's a very likable character in To My Star, for example. And Thailand is always ripe with good BL dramas - I Told Sunset About You, A Tale of Thousand Stars, Not Me, Theory of Love. Then there are the Japanese dramas - like 30-years Old Cherry Magic.

There are plenty of fish in the sea, and they're all kinds of colours, which is the best - I mean, you don't want them all to be the same :D

Title Big Mouth Spoiler
It needs to move a bit faster re: the actual plot. Not saying it's too slow, but we're after ep4 and PCH is still…
It definitely looks like PCH is actually BM (he either gets a true list of names in the last minute switch, or he really does know some people... If I were him, I'd name the three stooges in the prison, the Chief Warden and the strange robocop guard. That man has killed some people).

As for who could be BM, otherwise... I'm inclining toward JuHee, the Mayor's wife. She's deeply linked with the hospital so she would have a stake in shutting off the report, she has that creepy DNR rule enforced, and she also plays some powerplays. Who's the elder though? I hope it's not going to be some cameo from Lee Kyung Young, he's been everywhere lately and I've kind of had it with him, yuck.

Other than that... Move the plot along, writer-nim, please! Nothing much seems to have changed from the start. For such a short drama, that doesn't leave a lot of time for plot development. I sure hope this won't be a 2-3-whatever number of seasons, I want some actual endings for a change :(

Must... go... faster! :D

Though, in the trailer for the next week's eps...

Before I start watching this drama - can somebody please tell me it has a happy ending or just a good ending without…
Definitely a HEA (depending on your expectations. this IS a censored BL adaptation so no PDAs LOL). Though there is tragedy on road to the HEA, be warned.

It's canon that WWX is absolutely the very last one to catch up on what's actually going on in LWJ's mind (and heart) regarding their relationship, he - WWX - basically spends the whole story convinced LWJ either hates him, despises him or holds a grudge against him, LOL. Kind of like... staying on the same page re: LWJ throughout the whole plot (until the light finally hits him and he goes OOOOH!!!!) So, having that username, being on the same chapter for a long time... It looks appropriate to what WWX is actually like in the novel :)

I hope I'm explaining this in a manner that's understandable, English is not my first language. Anyway, my humour can be strange and things sometimes hit me as being hilarious, which might not be the same as everyone else. Don't take this personally, it's a joke :) I also hope you can find the joy in reading the novel, there are indeed some parts that are a bit different and sometimes even boring than the drama, but it's all worth it in the end :)

Title The Untamed Spoiler
When he fell off the cliff, I think the flute fell too, how did Jiang Cheng have it in the last few eps?
Nobody explains it, WWX's demise doesn't even happen like that in the novel (in the novel, WWX doesn't fall, he kind of... gets destroyed by overuse of qi energy while defending Burial Mounds. JC then gets the flute after quarelling with the other clan leaders for it). It's just LWJ telling WWX what happened immediately after he let go, and the focus is set on why LWJ didn't go down himself right after, too (a hint for the later revelations regarding the reasons for THAT).

IMHO, it could be both - he'd go look for WWX in the far-off hope he's still alive, while at the same time, he's still full of hatred and frustration over his actions (since YanLi just died, too, he'd have no cool-off period). But IF WWX would have been there, dead or alive... it's anyone guess what JC would have done. Probably taken him down to YunMeng and imprison him, if he were still alive. Or given him a proper burial if dead.

But JC is VERY stubborn and he hangs on to his anger, as seen later with the chasing down and even killing of any and all "disciples" of the YiLing Patriarch until WWX's resurrection. He wouldn't forgive him nor let him be, if he had found him under the cliff, because he did think at the time that WWX was guilty of everything. He's still rather honest, though, so when he discovers it wasn't WWX's complete fault for the whole mess, he does forgive him. And the extras to the novel show he's not interested in stopping Jin Ling from running around with the other ducklings and Wen Ning, either, so his forgiveness must be pretty thorough.

Well, brothers will be brothers.

After the resurrection (ep 33), LWJ tells WWX that after WWX jumped off the clff, JC went and looked for him, and only found ~bones of the dead~. And then when 3 years later LWJ himself went, there weren't even bones anymore.

It's very probable JC found the flute when he went looking for WWX. The sword and the manuscripts and whatever else they could get from the Burial Mounds were kept by the Jin clan, but the flute was with JC.

Title I Told Sunset about You Spoiler
Okey, I'm honestly confused by the comments. I haven't seen this one yet but I really want to because the comments…
It's because Oh Aew is precious and sincere and totally committed from the beginning, and Teh keeps wavering and self-denying himself and trying to remain safely on the hetero line.

It's painful to watch at times, but it's a good story, well-acted, with superb music and exceptional cinematography.

The second season is not actually praised all that much, compared to the first, and you can also skip it if you want to keep all the fuzzy feelings (not that it doesn't have a HE, because it does.) The first season is one of the best Thai dramas I've watched, and I've watched a lot of them (of the BL kind, anyway).

I wished they kept the previous FL.Are his sister, nephew and the girl still living with him ?
The sister has a fried chicken shop and a crush on OJH (don't we all), the girl still lives with KDC and is preparing for her equivalency test while also doing art, and the nephew hasn't come up these first two eps, but he should be around. I have this impression the sister's family isn't living with KDC any more, but it hasn't come up yet.

It's unrelated to the first season other than the same police team and the usual (already established) relationships still work. Most of the cast came back, not all though. The plot is new, so there's not much to go back to season 1 to, except if you forgot who these guys are :D
