Title Nobody Knows Spoiler
After ep 13...
The boys - Min Sung and Dong Myung - are precious. D'awwwwww~

I want Eun Ho and Ji Won to be able to meet as brother and sister. Please!

Also, the MCs staring at the camera at the end scene... Shivers!

This one's going to be a good drama all the way through. And the music is superb. Keeping fingers crossed for a good ending.

o-HO!
She got quesy, it was obvious she's pregnant. We all know that in dramaland getting sick - if you're a woman, and apparently if you're a man in a woman's body - means you're pregnant. Congrats!

But there are only 4 episodes left and so little time... What will happen?! Are we heading towards season 2??

Up to episode 7 and the first minutes of episode 8....
Did he always leave her notes on the back of every book he had borrowed? And she even knew about his habit... The kid was crying out for help for ages, what the heck took her so long?...

Other than that, I'm loving this. This is the second great FL on the dramas I've watched at the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021, after quite a long time of not really liking many FLs at all. (The first one is Shin Hye Sun, playing the Queen in Mr. Queen.)

Haven't watched Kim Seo Hyung in anything but Empress Ki and I didn't much like that drama, so I didn't remember her from there. But she is a beautiful woman, with a beautiful voice and demeanor, and I love how her character can immediately focus and deduct things based on experience and intuition.

I didn't recognize Ryu Deok Hwan either, LOL, but I DO remember the King in Faith. So I kind of recognize him, sort of. I really like his character here, too, and I can't wait to see what the true story of his ex-bully student really is.

I expect the killer or killer's apprentice is Baek Sang Ho, but I don't care if it really turns out to be him. It's not a mystery story for me, more like a family drama with people not related by blood.

The relationship between Cha Young Jin and Ko Eun Ho cannot be more like the one between mother and son, even if she didn't give birth to him. Their interaction is everything in this drama.

RE: 5You should see him in "Two Weeks" (a Korean drama version of "The Fugitive", so to speak, with 100% more…
BHS's coma is easily explained - he fell in the mud, might have aspirated some and got oxygen-deprived for a while, or even drowned, as there was a lot of water around. Or, his mother stabbed him so deep he lost a lot of blood, and his dad couldn't get there to patch him up soon enough to save him from shock and he went into a cardiac arrest or something. Or a combination of the above.

Why he remained in a coma for so long might also have to do with the drugs they were feeding him - his mother is a pharmacist, so obviously has access to everything they'd need to keep him stable... but destroying his kidneys in the process (as she tells DHS at one time. )

He definitely woke up and recovered WAY too fast from a 15-year long coma, no matter how well his care was. They showed a tiny bit of emaciation, but those muscles have no actual way of raising a bag containing a 60kgs woman in just a few days/weeks after he woke up. But let's suspend disbelief with this one :D

DHS's panic attacks might have to do with something in his first years - he definitely said he can't remember anything before he was 10 years old, and lost in the woods before being found by his father. Something traumatic might trigger panic attacks, but as he can't remember their origin, and nobody else is still alive that knew what could have happened (his sister definitely doesn't know), we'll be left with a tiny bit of an untied knot.

Binged this in 3 days. Some random thoughts: 1) Wow the real Baek Hee Sung really got me there with his puppy…
RE: 5

You should see him in "Two Weeks" (a Korean drama version of "The Fugitive", so to speak, with 100% more living family and plenty of action). His "daughter" there was 7 at the time and just the CUTEST little girl that ever graced a drama, Korean or not. I fell in love with her an her little bunny hats.

And they had the best moments of the drama together on the screen.

They also acted together in "Scarlet Heart Ryeo", though she had only a bit part there. Still the cutest, though.

RE: 1
He really does look amazing with the eyes and the long hair and the good figure... but OMG did he really creep me out with the fingernail biting. I was shuddering every time he was biting, can you imagine how the nail would feel against your teeth? *shudders*

RE: 2
I don't think DHS ever thought of KMJ as a good friend, to be honest. Just a tool to use and it happened the tool was still in love with DHS's sister, so really amenable to whatever was needed.

Though there are those moments when the first person he goes to for advice and help is KMJ and it leaves one wondering if he was also incapable of recognizing friendship even as he couldn't recognize love...

Wow, I can’t believe the ratings jumped to 8.8! I’m a fan of Shin Hye-sun, but feel really blah when it comes…
I didn't know the FL or the ML before this one - never (knowingly) watched anything they were in, not even the hyped dramas.

I came for a look-see, loved the first eps' dynamics, stayed for the Queen's antics and fell in love with the King.

They're both extremely talented, the script (so far) has been amazing, the comedy is spot-on, the support characters are very good at it (and well-developed, even for the extremely unlikable ones...), the music fits perfectly... in other words, this is a sageuk-fusion-comedy never seen before IMHO. I just hope they don't kill all our hopes with a history-faithful ending.

After this, I'm an (anti-)fan of both lead actors (that's an in-drama joke). I'm going to watch anything they're leads in and maybe even some dramas they're second leads or even support charas... just because of this one. This is the first FL I've really, really LOVED in a very long time. It's so refreshing.

I'm the King and Queen's antifan!!! They're the highlight of my drama week. Please have some more shenanigans, do! And if the King calls her "My Queen" in that lost little boy voice, or says that "O-HO!" interjection one... more... time! I don't know what I'll do. Maybe start learning Korean so that I could follow the actors' social media. You know, like antifans do :P

kinda disappointed hyunsoo didn't die? when it seemed like he did i was there feeling emotional and wondering…
As a matter of fact, he DID die. The person who survived but lost all their memories starting 15 years back is not the same person who experienced all that pain and loss and all the transformation that it took from being Do Hyun-Soo to being Baek Hee Seong. Even if a vague mimetic memory remains, even if he "somehow" feels like Ji Won is the one... he doesn't remember why. They'll have to start all over again. Happily the kid is still young and won't remember (in dramaland 'verse) that her father used to be someone else, personality-wise.

That is the beauty of the ending, though, at least for me. He's a blank slate in this relationship at this time, and he can start over by not lying to Ji Won, this time. And it does start like that, when he refuses to let her "see" the shadow of his former persona, the person she's waiting for every time she's looking at him.

It is heartbreaking, and yet refreshing at the same time. If he lost his memory for a while then got it back, it would've felt flat, IMHO... but like this, it's a real sacrifice and real new beginning.

And personally, I loved the way they filmed his memory blanking, all his trauma and even loving moments gone like smoke. Beautifully poetic. And then the sudden stop at the car accident. Loved that.

This is going to be on the re-watch list for me for years to come, and there aren't many of those.

It's not as much as they should have REMAINED, as those seemed to be TRAITS of character, and one doesn't grow "out" of them. Well, not being mysterious, that's also obvious. But I'm sad to say that there was a lot of hectic action, a lot of yelling, and a lot of showing of incipient powers - and repetitive special effects - and a lot less softer moments. And the soft moments were what got me into this drama, so I really felt the loss.

Not every drama is everyone's cup of tea. But this one started really promising and - for me at least - fell somewhere along the way to the ending. So I guess I can be disappointed, can't I?

Why was there was a writer change midway through the drama? Seen some comments about it and was wondering the…
Because it was so good in the beginning, people got really interested, the ratings soared, and then they decided to have a second season pretty much as the filming was moving toward the end episodes. The original writer and the rest of the production team had a disagreement on how to proceed so they parted way, not sure at which episode. For certain at least the last 4 were not written by the OW. And here we are.

T_THow on Earth could they...
...manage to f**k up that beautiful first half?

And who the #@#%%$^ wrote this finale?? This had the cringiest dialogue in all the dramas I've watched this year and past, and I watch A LOT of Thai BL, so I know of what I speak. Soooooo cringy. I hope it was all lost in the translation or something, because NONE of the characters acted IN character for the first half of the episode.

When I remember how much I loved this in its first 8-maybe-10 episodes, I could cry.

Not certain I'll give season 2 a try, to be honest. I don't have much hope they'll manage to unf**k it, if they keep veering toward lots of action - in tailored suits, FGS!!! - and less of what I actually loved - the forming of a found family, the shy Moon, the quiet Ha-Na, the mysterious Mo-Tak and the lovely Mrs. Chu...

I don't care any more, and it took only a few episodes to destroy that cohesiveness... I don't care if it remains popular, and people watch it and praise it, a lot of the magic is gone. I've rated it high-ish mostly for the first half, which was amazing, but it's such a disappointment...

And OMG all that out-of-nowhere-in-your-face PPL!!! #$%$^#%#$#!!!!!!!!!
