I LOVE it that Mr manager (I guess he's the only one I can't remember the name of) didn't erase Moon's memories. That would have been pretty stupid, considering everybody's out there baying for his blood, from Mayor's son to Mayor to Level 3 evil spirit.

But did he also get to keep some powers? Could he have fought off the Mayor son's clique before if he had the courage? He's not controlling the territory YET, but he seems pretty anchored on what's going on, the only thing that reasonably changed is that Moon lost the fritzy hair and superpowers. For now.

That preview - and the ending to this episode... Dammit. I was afraid the Mayor was going to attack him somehow, but to see him used as bait for the rest of the gang by the freaking evil spirits... That's tough.

I need the next episodes NOW.

Are there only 6 episodes left? T_T

As an aside, I really appreciate they returned to the original ending song, Isaac Hong's "Close Your Eyes". Much more dramatic than the one playing for the past two episodes or so.

EDIT & PS: I LOLed hard at people on the Counter-wannabe list turning down the offer to get wounded, lose their families, keep secrets forever and risk losing their souls just to help catch evil spirits in the name of Heavens. That should teach the Yung administration to cherish the ones who DID accept, more. People like Moon. Just sayin'.

LPT: never EVER start watching an ongoing drama. Never.

Did I mention you shouldn't start watching a drama while it's airing? That impedes your tendency to binge-watch it once it's over and gets your stress levels through the roof. And that's bad.

Too bad now he had to reveal his underlying power and authority to someone who doesn't like him that much, and by the way, was the traitorous lady-in-waiting there in the corridor, too? That's not good in the long run.

In an episode mostly lacking the queen's antics, this moved along... surprisingly well. That goes to show there are more ongoings than her fish-out-of-the-water story. And the ending is quite serious - will there be a turning toward a more politic/social unrest story besides the utter comedy of a contemporary man being in an historical queen's body?...

Questions:

How come no one in the modern times noticed JBH's eyes were open and he kept blinking? Is that normal for people in a vegetative state?

Is it me, or are JBH and KSH's memories getting mixed again? That would mean they will eventually end up being one person/conscience or something... I don't know how to feel about that. I love JBH's flashy moves, and KSH's background would make her a serious, colder person. But then there's that well that was shown in the ending and the preview - does it have any special meaning for KSH?!

Is it me or are there some BL thrown in for good measure, too?! Those two men - and their third wheel the lady-in-waiting - are so cute, LOL. But I doubt the producers dare go there. I'll have to wait and see.

Also, why are the episodes getting shorter? T_T I don't mind 1:20h long eps. Gimme more of this, please!

Okay that was intense. Move away, queen's cousin, she is HIS woman. Loved that scene.

Err, the Inca Empire? Like for example (shortish Incan tale of the La Conquista follows) Pizzaro was going to ransome Atahualpa, the last Inca Emperor, for a room full of gold, but he killed him before it was filled anyway. That didn't stop anyone believing there was gold to be had in the Inca Empire, and that lead to numerous legends of lost gold treasures or even, eventually, an entire city of gold, the El Dorado.

It's just JBH not being sure if he didn't end up time-slipping into some other exotic place, lol, after his brief return to his normal world.

They're going to strip Moon of his powers (and memory?) right after everybody has learned who he is. Great, what can I say.

Are they going to fix all the rest of the people's memories? Or just leave him hanging out to dry?

I actually like Bo Wang quite a lot by now. It suddenly hit me, why this person is supposed to be the ML, LOL.

On the other hand, MZX is starting to be really, really useless. Even Bao Na is better than her, and she's not even in the picture much. Even 4th Prince is more important to the story, and he also is not much in it.

The overall politics plot is starting to get on my nerves, it's like none of these people are actually all that invested in keeping or bettering their respective countries. The worst is Chu Kui, who is turning into a rambling madman (what the hell was that scene where he was threatening to kill his 4th son in order to make the ghost of his 1st son do... something?!) And then there's the Jin King who's using the same idiotic approach of killing him to make him stronger on his son, Ju Yao/Ji Chong...

These guys are all idiots, up to and including the leads. But at least Bo Wang and Ji Chong are looking cool while being idiots, LOL, which sadly can't be said about Zhai Xing. She's just hysterical for no reason and then once in a while she's using her brain, too rarely to count. And she had such a good beginning.

That scene where JC is walking on the roof, paralleling his father's walk on the ground is amazing. One thing that is consistent throughout the series is the cinematography. I absolutely love the hell out of it. And you can JUST see how majestic and awesome it would all have turned out if they kept the censoring to a minimum...

Seriously, there's the whole supernatural underplot that makes NO sense the way it's edited... So sad about that.

On episode 34....

Yes, it's obvious the club was in his imagination, he just thought she was doing - in his own time, using his body - what he's trying to do in Joseon, using her body, LOL.

But since from the preview it looks like his body is in a coma, she's probably not there, inhabiting it. Is she still somewhere in her own body/mind? Or is she gone completely?

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

JBH inhabits both bodies, the queen's and his own, and in order for one to be awake the other one has to be in a coma...

That's a hard one to untangle. And it might mean the queen is either not completely gone (since he seems to have some of her memories) or gone to the other side but uninterested in the club nightlife after all LOL).

Also, what happened to not being able to rate a drama unless you had watched at least a 5th of the episodes? TOOL is not even airing, with no release date, but ratings are registering and being shown (and it's not even the only one it's happening to).

Things like these make one become really, *really* disappointed in MDL's modding and keeping things clean, after all the protestation of taking care of it with the latest algorithm changes...

Now, how should I put this? The FL's expressions are spot-on awesome, and she has the cutest mannerisms. I think I'm in love with the FL character for the first time in I can't remember!!

After this one, I'll be hunting down all her dramas, she's too good to not have been great for a long while now.

(And I guess the ML and the rest of the cast aren't bad either - I hope they don't respect the historical truth all the way through, I'll be sad if it it goes to waste.)

Ep 4th's ending is a nice cliff hanger, dammit I really shouldn't have started even more currently airing dramas than I was already watching, this one's going to be a painful delight to keep on with on a weekly basis.

It's definitely implied in a straight forward manner that he DID sacrifice himself to get WWX away from the Wen soldiers, both in the drama and the novel. As for why, WWX is his brother still. And then they weren't aware of Core-Crusher's power and didn't see it in action. He had no inkling he was in danger of losing his core if he was captured.

And with a brother like WWX, making the impossible happen, JC might well expect to be rescued in a timely manner. (Which WWX actually did, just not in the way JC would have imagined.)

When the police got the report of Sin being in a certain area, then the camera went over Moon's home address and it was the same place, I got chills... I thought Sin would kill Moon's grandparents and I wasn't ready for that. But it seems they get to face down in the next ep, and Moon won't win, but neither will Sin...

Dammit these will be two long weeks...

You need to add an /s, people don't read all those back comments on the (unparalleled) prettiness of the MLs in TU and won't get the reference.

That makes sense, too. Anyway, if he starts, he won't stop finding new victims. But his first won't probably be the mayor, or the drama will lose a major villain plotline.

Then that begs the question... who does he want to kill? It might be Moon...

Why is the mayor's son "one of them"? Who did he kill? Don't they have to kill someone before becoming evil spirits?

It's coming to a head before the half point of the drama - something big and bad's about to happen, IMHO.

As you said, you can't know if they're people who actually want to get more info and/or find an echo chamber, or trolls. So if I were to choose, I wouldn't (always) bother with sending people more links to read info from. If they're actually interested, they'll do their own research. If not, it's an useless effort and they might be gratified you took the trouble so they could ignore it.

(And as a matter of fact, I am too lazy to take the trouble each time, LOL).

If people are acting like trolls, they'll say whatever they want to say even if not basing it on someone else's reply, LOL. I had read before about extreme stalkers and rabid fandoms in Asia, and couldn't fathom the depth of it (until Asian stars and hopefuls started coming out with their stories and some sadly even commited suicide.) It's not something that actually happens in Europe, as far as I know. It's still something I can't wrap my mind around - I think that if you happen to not like something / someone you just don't pay attention any more and move on to other things that actually interest you. Hate-spewing and trying to destroy someone's career with no actual reason... it's beyond comprehension.

But what I've learned over the years is that people aren't always rational, and no argument will change anyone's mind that they don't reason themselves out of. (Well, this goes better for politics, but it's the same idea, IMHO). So, live and let live.
