Title Buried Hearts Spoiler
Yeah, I think Seon U is going in the villain arc. Prolly his mom brainwashed him. 🤦🏻‍♀️
He and Yeom agreed and baited both SDJ and HID to wait for Chairman Cha and be killed. Because at that time they both still trusted him.

Even if he didn't ever care for SDJ and considered him an outsider, HID was his son-in-law and the father of his grandson. Both had been by his side for very long years. And yet, he immediately plans HID's death - no shred of remorse - just because Yeom tells him there's some conspiracy between HID and SDJ.

That is not rational. He has dementia, but that's not an excuse. The killing decision is so sudden and out of the blue, it might be his actual true mindset and not just a stress response.

All the power, none of the responsibility. I 100% see his POV. That's the best position - you get to plan and…
Until he's boss and they come to him for everyday's money.

... I am pretty certain he'll get on top of things. But as in the preview - at what price?

Title Buried Hearts Spoiler
I am quite unsure this drama knows this is the second to last episode, and I feel it will be too late to solve…
Nah, I think the succession goes exactly as you said, and he becomes chairman of DaeSan Energy but when the time to pick a family heir comes, he picks himself. (He has friends in the board, the family doesn't have a reasonable heir, and he DOES have 2 trillion to back up his ambition.)

There's no other of his own motivations remaining - he said he was going to plan to become Chairman of the whole DaeSan group but was aware that was a pipe dream and thought to aim high in order to settle for some branch of it, at most. And then he planned to marry YEN and they'd be living HEA.

But now Chairman Cha betrayed him, there's nobody on his side, he lost YEN (I really don't see them coming back together, though this is makjang it may yet happen...) He's about to kill Yeom to get his chairman position. Once he sells his soul for that, there won't be any going back. He'll just get there, get the position... and keep it.

And in the background, the family tears itself apart - and I don't even care. Good riddance!

Huh Joonho's performance in this is so good
He's a good father in Officer Black Belt, but he doesn't have a lot of scenes. Also very good acting there.

ETA Wait, I meant the actor who plays HID, LOL - Lee HaeYoung. Sorry, my bad.

I'm planning on binging the show this weekend, finally. Can anybody just give me a spoiler and let me know if…
Sadly, all things point to a sad ending (not expecting death or anything, but general unhappiness.)

I think they're going with every son follows the father's road. Chairman Cha turned into a crazy killer (even if he doesn't do it himself), why shouldn't SeonWoo?

And we have HID and the ending of ep 15. We'll see what happens to SDJ in the end...

The thing i don't understand most about SDJ is why he is so bent on being the Kingmaker instead of the King. It…
All the power, none of the responsibility.

I 100% see his POV. That's the best position - you get to plan and make decisions, but someone else bothers with the paperwork and cleanup. Perfection.

Ohsh!t our hero is no more. Truly the son of his father *sad tears*When YJS got in that car, I knew what was going…
OMG the cheek of Chairman Cha! So he MADE the killing happen and allowed/planned it with Yeom, but now he's going to sell him off to get brownie points with SDJ in order to have him help SeonWoo.

And THEN he says - "I was being carried by my son, not my grandson. There's a difference between the back of a Cha son and the back of a Heo son. Like day and night" - YOU IDIOT SDJ is right HERE and he IS also a Heo son (even if illegitimate). Like, how callous can you freaking be?! Idiot. I hope SeonWoo does serious damage to that house - he likes playing with fire, let's see him do it. I double-dare him. Burn the house down, SeonWoo, you can do it!!!!

Oh and poor sad wet-shoes YEN coming on to say "oooh you shouldn't have apologised to me, when your father killed your mother AND my father". SDJ's dead eyes told us where that little sad bit of romance is heading. He checked out already.

Which leads me to... OMG he's doing it. He's in process of making his first actual kill. Maybe he only planned it just in case the prosecution sent YJS home... but to kidnap, drug and hide him away dead or alive for at least one month... That's not the SDJ we've known. But he would be a son stepping in his father's footsteps. I think he's already lost all hope and is now moving by inertia...

I really really wish someone comes and slaps him awake until it's too late for him to be saved.

When YJS got in that car, I knew what was going to happen. I expected him to be booted off the highway at a certain point with relevance to the backstory. We'll see if it happens in the end.

I still think SeonWoo is basically a bad guy (his reactions to his father are pretty indifferent. Also to his mother. Is he playing a double game?...)

I can't see how this ends. This ep was very slow right up until the end, and SDJ's face is already emotionless, you can't tell what he's planning any more... I hope the ending will give it justice.

Title Heesu in Class 2 Spoiler
Yes, yes, YES! We’ve officially breached enemy territory—I repeat, enemy territory has been breached! Translation:…
I think they're establishing that HeeSu is not only oblivious to love interests but also a little bit unaware of present situations, generally - like pouring the water back the drain that had just flooded, OMG I was second-hand embarassed for him :D

But then, it lead to (almost) play-skinship, I'll allow it. As long as he eventually gets a lightbulb moment.

I still think SeungWon gave him the juice, we've seen this ep he's recording each and every one of HeeSu's likes and acting on them :D I can see him watch HeeSu drink the juice and making sure the juice is always available :D

WHAT DID SHE MEAN BY SEUNGWON BEING THE CARROT?! DID SHE MEAN HE'S THE TOP/SEME/GONG?! Is there a slang I don't…
OMG LOL. *hanging head in shame*

In my defense... I already forgot about the carrot juice. And it COULD be taken that way. *flailing around to find more excuses* hahaha~ *sweatdrop*

How's Ep 5 everyone? Still straight-washing as before?
Better than the previous two, less (not zero) of the hetrom, but they're in a misunderstanding phase, a lot more of HeeSu being oblivious and SeungWon being voluntold to get closer to his crush. Also, forced cohabitation (or not so forced).

It's way better. Let's see if they keep it up.

And what does it mean he's saying he's not, LOL? Because HeeSu definitely doesn't send top vibes at all. If they're both bottoms, there's going to be a problem hahaha~

MUCH better than the previous set of eps.

OMO OMO OMO is there a hint of interest FINALLY in HeeSu's eye? And he was SO proud of SeungWon like he had raised him himself, bragging shamelessly - "class president", "2nd in school" - LOL, HeeSu, you braggart :D

His sisters are all duck moms, they took SeungWon in without a blink LOL.

I'll allow SMALL pieces of het rom because she played such a good wingwoman to SeungWon :D But also....

can someone explain to me what this kdrama is about so i could watch it idk what its abt
Chaebol chairman's right-hand man thought he had it all good - he loved someone deeply and he was loved right back, he thought, his plans on ascending as far as possible in the conglomerate are bearing fruit, everything's good.

And then the betrayals start, from just a very nasty surprise to repeated and hard-core attempts on his life (did I mention repeated? We're at about the 10th on and we still have two more eps). He won't take it laying down - the problem is he doesn't really know who all the enemies are, why are they doing this to him, and how to better make them suffer the worst for all they've did and keep doing to him.

In other words... this is makjang survival thriller. Expect tropes, lots of tropes, higher-than-mountains emotional confrontation, AMAZING music (bears repeating - AWESOME music!!), PHS displaying a glorious mane and being awesome throughout, PPL out of the blue LOL, a bit of nonsense plot (this IS makjang), but overall... VERY entertaining. Give it a try for the first ep at least.

Title The Untamed Spoiler
Finally, someone who also likes Jiang Cheng!! Here, sit right by me, LOL, we'll be two persons who appreciate…
Next to WWX (who is unbeatable, up-up-up-way-up above on a level of his own), Jiang Cheng is my next favourite (in the drama at least, I like novel LWJ a bit more, but they really took their time to explore all brotherly connections in the drama). So rigid and trying so hard so self-correct to the point of pain, and always feeling inferior, poor guy. Wen Ning went for a low-blow that he knew would really connect when he called him out in the reveal scene - "you were always meant to be under him" - yup, that's our cinnamon bun not feeling like being meek at the time, LOL.

And NHS... the most fearful and basically the only one who can fight with WWX on the same level on smart planning. No drop of blood directly on him, but everything set in motion by his subtle plans. They were calling Ji Li (playing NHS) The Director, when they were filming, LOL. The cast knew what's it all about :D

Everything of this IP is recommended (the novel, the donghua, the chibi donghua, all the author's novels LOL). But the chibi donghua is always a heart healer for all the drama in the story :D

I'm not a fan of makjang usually but something about the drama still has managed to hold my interest. The ML is…
I like makjang and this one delivers :D

I don't really care about the flailing romance because what the character did in the first ep really poisoned that well, and also... TBH I don't mind AT ALL that they gave more space to actors who can acts their butts off LOL. When you hate the character (not for plot reasons) it only means the actors are doing a great job :) and makjang needs extreme emotions to work well.
