Lou is actually good at his job. That wasn't a small fire, but he lead the team by giving orders calmly, assessing…
He destroyed all personal relationships in that station to the point that they went crazy on each other during fire.
He failed to introduce the technology because he did not follow up what that was doing. Technology becomes irrelevant when the people who are operating it break. Which btw is exactly what the ML told him when they were at the exhibition. Firefighters were both too stressed, too tired and it was also used as a larger part of his competition innovation which was a direct cause of total meltdown in interpersonal relationships.
He is a total failure as a leader and no, this isn't just about that one fire. How you managed to miss the giant plot of relationships falling apart in the station as a direct result of his actions is beyond me.
The writer had the ML suspended as the person in command even though he actually had no fault over what happened. Now this guy destroyed all moral in the station, people are getting hurt due to both his inaction and actions and the writer is suddenly pretending command responsibility that he introduced in the previous episodes doesn't exist for something that is a far bigger problem.
LMY did not do anything against the rules. He chose to remove himself. I have said since day 1 that he is not…
He absolute did fail in his role as a leader.
He introduced an innovation, failed to follow up, failed to listen to feedback, failed to confront his own issues when LYR says he too has to self-reflect. He failed miserably in one of the most important things that a person in command has to do and that is to take responsibility as a leader.
The drama actually established a certain way of command and responsibility for command with the ML and then the writer turned around and for far more grievous issues is coddling the other character. You can't have both if you want internal consistency of the plot.
Lou is actually good at his job. That wasn't a small fire, but he lead the team by giving orders calmly, assessing…
Yeah, I don't think he is good at his job. I find him to be a highly incompetent leader.
He introduced technological innovations and then wasn't even capable of doing that properly. What we had before the ML started cleaning up is a station that is falling apart and them making mistakes, on site of the fire, as a direct consequence of what LMY is doing.
He introduced the competition then completely failed to follow up with the consequences that were arising. LYR actually called him out directly over the need for his own self-reflection and he ignored it. If the ML had ended up a paraplegic when that beam hit him would a valid excuse be well his intentions were sincere. Plus, yes I question how much what he is doing comes from sincere intentions and how much from his pathological need to delete the ML's influence from the station.
This drama is very good in showing how absolutely necessary teamwork is for these types of jobs and yet the person directly destroying that teamwork is being coddled.
Not to mention it's absolute nonsense to say he is the only person who worries about the lives of firefighters, especially in this show where almost everyone else is doing much more to keep those people alive when it comes to the bottom line.
I don't understand their attitude towards Lou Ming Ye, especially considering what was shown in the first part of the drama.
Lin Lu Xiao was suspended before we could blink as the person in charge for something he didn't do but that's command responsibility. All right. Now we have Lou Ming Ye who has trashed the station to the point they aren't functional and people are actually getting hurt as a result (could have been worse, ML could have died) yet both the ML and Yu are protecting LMY. LMY says to the ML that they all think he isn't qualified to run the station and he isn't. That is a fact. He is over-stressing them and over-working them to the point of causing major harm. Everyone is at fault but him. He hasn't had a second of self-reflection even since the ML came back. Where is the command responsibility that removed the ML in a second and why is this now ok? Liu Yu Ri is right, they should have reported him ages ago because at this point it's active harm. Yet nothing. The ML is still talking to him instead of simply having him removed. I don't get it.
You can't learn on the job when your responsibility is this huge. People die. Why the special treatment for LMY while the ML was kicked to the curb within seconds?
I have binged watched up to episode 18 and this is surprisingly good? This is my third firefighting drama in a…
Yes, there is some propaganda but overall it's been incorporated pretty well. The plot has been escalating properly and the culmination in the big explosion was excellent. They have shown tragedy that follows jobs like this quite well. I am surprised but glad they are keeping the line of needing money for medical expenses and them as firefighters not earning a lot. Good job on the feeling of guilt of both the ML but captain Meng too who as the head boss sends them all to handle these incidences that may potentially mean death or major disability. Really good acting by the veteran actor.
I actually really like how the romance wasn't some huge push and pull but just two people who fell in love and grew into being together. I honestly love the ease that they displayed there because they are in love and that is that as it should be with adults. She is supporting him in difficult moments too and since so far it's good writing, I expect we will see reciprocity too (hopefully). Really good drama so far!
I have binged watched up to episode 18 and this is surprisingly good? This is my third firefighting drama in a short time and it is easily the best (so far) π
It started its rerun on CCTV 8 today with really good ratings. This drama is probably going to become one of CCTV staple dramas as it has a long tail and is received so well.
She is not evil. That's one of the good points of this drama, none of the characters are the often encountered evil caricatures that act irrationally. She does continue to cling to the ML even later on once he has moved on but you get why she does it.
I tried to watch this drama, but about to drop it. I donβt like it when the leads are drunk and out of control.…
I don't know where you are from but when it comes to China and big cities this is accurate. Plus the FL stops pretty quickly.
It actually even shows social drinking related to work quite faithfully because it is frankly out of hand. Lots of people despise it but are forced to due to work, sometimes to a ridiculous degree. This drama generated a lot of discussions and quite a few were about this for example because it reflected what people faced in their daily lives.
The problem isn't that they chose a very obviously adult woman to be the FL. The problem is that you see a very obviously adult woman trying to act as if she is a teen with the tone of voice, pouting, blinking, body movements and that is simply cringe worthy. I will stick with it but the beginning is a chore.
The rest of the casting of the movie still very tight-lipped, but here are some rumours I've heard: Tony Leung…
Tony Leung Ka Fai is correct, we have confirmation of that. Not to go into details.
The others are still a bit in the air. Actually Kara Wai is not more unsure than JC. Their names all came out in the same initial melon we had ages ago. Genghis khan is being played by a Mongolian veteran actor but we have no names.
WDB is getting yet another rerun, it's been officially confirmed now. September 27th, CCTV 8 again.
If I am counting right with this it is 12 times on TV now since June, so 4 months. Great achievement and says everything about the reception of this drama.
Are there any deleted scenes anywhere? I feel like they must have deleted some, but can't find anything.
No, unfortunately. They definitely did delete some scenes, most likely at least one kiss at the end but nothing has shown up yet. I am not sure that it even will.
No, he doesn't work with pure traffic. It's Li Yitong most likely.
It's not fake, the sets are already up and they are just waiting for him to finish. But that means it won't start until November or perhaps even December because LOCH has a while to film yet. They are still in Inner Mongolia. It's probably why Youku didn't say anything, the posters already exist so why bother until they can announce the cast. Anyway the director and screenwriter visited XZ on set of LOCH.
Li Yitong is most likely it because antis have already been attacking her in China. I get what you mean but chances of XZ working with pure traffic like Reba pretty much don't exist now. He is moving away from that type of drama.
Boy I am new to MDL and XZ world but I'm starting to see why XFX are so united. I read back almost all the comments,…
After a while, you start remembering names π
It's one of two versions. There is a main account who pretends to be neutral and the socks and then they interact in between each other. The second option is pure socks with no mains showing up. Like Flawless here, sometimes it is just them and another sock (I remember the name was Yuri on TLP board) plus the main or sometimes solo. It becomes a game to spot them because it will never stop. MDL has no desire to do so.
Forever flawless, another anti sock account (check their reviews 1 star given to both SBMS and TLP) is back I see and of course, in combination with the exact same people. We do remember your names you know.
Anyway, just ignore it. They can't help themselves. Real results always trigger them and having two CCTV dramas over CVB 1 is that. Plus SBMS is one of only 3 dramas that is being rerun on CCTV 1 after CCTV 8 and out of the remaining two, one was WDB. Pure pain for them.
π₯³ i just love when you bring in the stats news ! Xiao Zhan confirmed again his top position regardless of the…
WeTV is Tencent streaming outside of China. XZ and the other old ambassadors all ended their contracts with Tencent. Mostly unsatisfied with promotion of works and their treatment in general. So yes, it's done. Better for XZ, good riddance.
