this drama is literally one of those very few dramas that I enjoyed the exact same way from the first episode…
Of course people can deny this is a masterpiece. It's actually incredibly easy to deny it considering the lack of depth it has. Just the character development of the male lead, or lack thereof, is a major issue and then how it all projects onto their questionable romance. Then add the absolute gem of absolving Min Woo of any wrongdoing and any consequences whatsoever, up to and including a measly apology and in fact, heavily rewarding him. Too many unnecessary add ons that never really materialized into coherent plot lines etc.
I understand enjoying the drama, I have enjoyed some terrible things and still think this one is worth seeing but damn, where did critical thinking go?
No problem, I wish I could give you better news π but let's hope Tencent surprises us and it shows up around 20th/21st. Just be prepared that it could also very well be months, Chinese entertainment is a horror when it comes to dates. But let's think positively. Btw welcome to Xiao Zhan's world π€
Ah I knew I would be disappointed and I was. This drama promised so much at the start only to fail to deliver. Simply put, the depth I expected never materialised and the turn around and waving away of some serious things really finished it off. I have high expectations when I watch shows of this kind and it did not deliver for me.
One thing that never failed was the acting and I have to congratulate them, especially Park Eun Bin for her fantasic role. I am sorry Kang Tae Oh never got the chance for more, thanks to the awful lack of development for his character because I feel like he has a lot more to offer. I am looking forward to their following projects.
I thought i could turn blind eye to the whole jang thing but the more i think the more it's make less sense. In…
I think it's the good old in order to make one character appear smart, we have to make someone else be an idiot trope. It's lazy writing, that's what it is. If you cannot make your character look smart without dumbing down other characters past anything remotely plausible, that's a fail.
Even if this ends with an open ending, I am not watching season 2. The quality already went downhill, nothing good can come out of a second season. Please let season 1 end as properly as possible π€
I know Xiao Zhan is the most popular c-drama actor with tons of huge fans, so I am looking forward to watch this…
No such thing as writing too much when it comes to discussing! Hopefully we will have plenty of material for that soon.
About the book/drama, we don't actually know much about the changes they made but we do know that the changes to the book were not insignificant. So it's possible they kept the general direction where the ML is focused on Kong Sang but it is also possible romance has a stronger line. We don't actually know. Script writing is the Achilles heel of Chinese dramas but for this one, all the talk so far has been positive.
What we do know is that both leads are skilled actors and that's most important for me as I am a career fan. Can't wait for this one.
Absolutely, I won't let the impression of a small sample size of commentators like that effect my impression of…
Were you asking kindness for Xiao Zhan when ZLS fans dissed him on LLG pages? Yeah, didn't think so.
You did hide whose fan you are, because saying fan of actors from a drama means nothing, there are dozens of actors in LLG. Unless of course you are so convinced in her superiority that you think that this generality must refer to ZLS because she is of course the center of everyone's universe. FYI, she is not, even if her powerful backing is desperately trying.
All you have to do is see her watchlist and it's clear whose fan she is. So why fake some passer by identity.
She should do other more productive things. They have been desperately leeching off TLP all day on Weibo. She should go join her friends and get some more data too for her fave's incredible hit show that *checks notes* as an S+ drama never even went over 3.

That's all.

Bye now.
