It doesn't matter if she did anything wrong. Her friend made a scene which offended the client so the root cause is FL unfortunately.
Employer doesn't care who's really to blame.
However, I don't really see a point of making her apologize. The client won't care. Her boss is just being an ass.
Tbh I never liked her boss. I think she's full of shit. She pretends to care about FL but she really doesn't. It's like she's playing with FL. If FL survives then good, if not then whatever
Some people complaining about ML not able to do chores or cook, dude he was born with a silver spoon, his dad…
It's not that he can't. He straight up refuses to try.
Furthermore, in today's episode he said something like "I let my pride go down the drain. That's true love" when he talked about washing dishes and letting the FL wash his shirt instead of dry cleaning like always.
As for comparing it to FL being unable to cook. There is a difference between not cooking and expecting your partner to do all the housework...
I like the drama but I must say I had higher hopes for the FL.
When it started FL's new beginning was implied but it's going in circles.
She gets the job, she acts out, she almost loses the job, now her friend acts out, she will probably take a hit again, and so on...
I hope it ends soon because it's almost half the show and there is little development in her career.
Furthermore the subplot with mommy's boy is supposed to be funny but it's boring and annoying.
However, the leads are consistently great. Even though ML's inability to do anything is getting old a little, it makes a great comedy along with their bickering
First episode wasn't very good, second was ok, every episode after that was great
Weak pilot because of the editing, story and waiting for the bomb to go off in FL's relationship.
However, since episode 3 it's consistently good so far.
The only thing I can complain about is the soundtrack - there is this one song that sounds incredibly cringy, like a song for little kids. I hope it won't be used in later episodes
It is slow but I quite enjoyed the playing phase. Both of them are keeping their pretence in front of each other which makes good comedy along with the ML scheming all the time.
Negative reviews are mostly because of way too high expectations
The drama was advertised as romance which resulted in the wrong audience watching it. (at least that's my guess since most reviewers here are salty for no good reason)
It's for people who like slice of life dramas.
People who can enjoy a slow journey through life with no villains, no heros, flawed leads and beautiful scenery
Tbh their relationship started to piss me off. It's only ep5 and ML already has power over her. It's like ML is becoming her personality.
I really wanted to give it a shot but I hate dramas where FL is practically living for ML and he does whatever is best for him; based on what I saw I think this drama is gonna go that way.
PS
I might give it another go someday but for now It's especially hard to watch because I recently finished Alliance (2023)...

The issues aren't even that severe.
People are just overanalyzing like it's some great Tolkien work
If you're considering watching this ignore all the salty reviews and try an episode for yourself. I liked it from the pilot
PS
Yes, they used AI. No need to mention it every 3rd comment ffs
I'm just making fun of the translated synopsis :)

Reading synopsis I wasn't sure if it's a romance plot or a rape plot. The wording is weird weird
The script is seemingly fine but it's bland. Every conflict feels like it doesn't matter; just something the story needed to keep it going.
Acting is tolerable but the dubbing is terrible. Not only it doesn't match their lips movement but it doesn't even match the actor's reactions.
I recommend only if you have nothing better to watch

It's nice to finish a drama with a big smile

Try searching by Korean title 결혼계약
But romance is never the main story.
Especially second female lead's character development. I thought it's gonna be "it's not her fault because XYZ" but the writers did nothing like that.
However, keep in mind it's a slice of life, a story of self improvement and facing life head on. Romance is not the main storyline.
This drama is about not being afraid to live, to start over, to take risks, to self improve.
It's based on the premise that there is no end as long you live
Even though I watched it about 3 years ago I'm pretty sure they're together but just sneaking around.
It was a little low-key because it was shown at the beginning of the episodes and not the end.
At least that's how I remember it lol
