2nd seasons I need: Sweet Home s2, The Uncanny Counter s2 and Alchemy of Souls s2. The others... no. But I hate that I'll still be watching Squid Game s2 just because I want to know if Wi Hajoon's character is alive. Also, although it needs a s2, Money Heist??? Why did they split it ugh so unnecessary
I loved today's episode. Ayan has revealed his secret, Akk has been honest with his feelings, Khan told Thua about his online identity. Now we'll just have to wait for episode 11 to crush everyone before the final
I'm expecting Akk's views to change since First keeps saying that his favourite thing about Akk is his character…
Do you like it? I made it myself actually ^^ But of course First deserves all the glory. I've made other gifs as well (most of them are of First lol). Feel free to use them; they have no watermark: https://giphy.com/channel/SiljeTherese/self-made There are The Eclipse gifs as well
I think it's a lot easier for people to just sympathize with Ayan because he is the one with the best intentions…
Agreed. Let's keep these expectations and hope for the best. I saw someone comment that theory before and it makes sense. The only way to find out is to continue to watch and see it unfold.

Yes, Ayan has only good intentions towards Akk now it seems. I do feel like Akk has good intentions towards Ayan too. Like I said, I feel like he's the type of character who pushes the one they love away from them in order to protect them. Akk is just so tsundere that he can't say it straight so Ayan keeps misunderstanding him, or rather, he doesn't see all of Akk's true intentions. I also think that Ayan might be too pushy with Akk, but I also think (like I said) that that might just be what Akk truly needs. Maybe Akk reaching his breaking point will be freeing for him. If Ayan is there to take the blast and stand right by his side then I think that this kind of love is what Akk needs. Personally I enjoy slow romances (not to be confused with overly slow paced stories) so I don't mind them getting together in the last two episodes, opposed to many others. I agree that the story is slow paced, but for me it's more lacking in depth; that's why I think it's average. Like with Not Me, I had expectations with the story that weren't met. But I like the characters, that's why I'm sticking around. Akk is the most complex character in my eyes and I'm very interested in how his character will continue to grow as the story progresses towards its final episodes. First keeps talking about Akk's character development so I'm curious to see more of him, as well as the rest of the characters. I will definitely continue to watch the final episodes.
I agree with you and understand your perspective but I think people are frustrated as well. They just want to…
Yeah, that’s what I’m doing lol. And yes, they have already developed and will develop more. Like First keeps saying: the best thing about Akk is his character development.
It feels a bit to me that people are picking sides between Akk and Ayan. They are very different so it's natural that some people identify more with one of them than to the other. But I think we should take a step back and not overidentify with either of them, that way we will see them as they are.
I think we are supposed to feel frustrated with Akk, but also try to understand why he's behaving the way he is. Different from his harsh and cold demeanour, he is sensitive, weak hearted and easily manipulated. He has a sense of pride and is afraid of disappointing the people he cares about/look up to. He is confused as he has been manipulated for so long, but he isn't stupid, and Ayan helps him clear his mind. He cares deeply for Ayan and he's the type of character who pushes their loved one away as a means to protect them (which really frustrates me tbh). He is cold to Ayan and wants him to leave because he doesn't want to hurt him.
As for Ayan, we are supposed to feel for him. Even though he has a lot of secrets, his personality is quite transparent. Opposed to Akk, Ayan's personality doesn't change much depending on whom he speaks to. It's frustrating to see him keep all his secrets to himself, but this secret is something that holds on to his heart so strongly, and that is so meaningful to him, that it's hard for him to say. As for his love for Akk, it looks like he is a bit too pushy. But I believe that that's exactly the type of love that Akk needs in order to see clearly that he's doing things wrong.
Characters aren't only supposed to be likeable.
Also, the acting of First and Khao is truly incredible. Their chemistry is great; probably because they are friends. The story isn't perfect, actually, in my eyes it's average. But I prefer character driven stories. I just wanted to share my take on how I see Akk and Ayan.
As a First fan and FirstKhao shipper I'm very torn on whether to watch this or not. On one hand maybe it's best not to watch it so that it will get less attention (I'm sure most actors only want to show their good side and don't want people to see them sad), but on the other hand they've worked hard on this (I'm sure it's hard to have cameras on you for like a whole week) so maybe I should watch it so that their work will be seen.
Does anyone else feel like this? Or am I overthinking it too much?
I finished watching it 3 days ago just bcz of first lolI got to know him since not me but I like him so much more…
Too bad you didn’t like it. I love The Shipper! Rewatching it made me love it even more ^^ And I actually wasn’t a big fan of Cupid’s Last Wish. But it’s okay to have different opinions :)
When I added this to my ptw list months ago I did it for EarthMix, but since then I've become a big First fan and now I'm watching The Eclipse and love First and Khao together. Both of them look so sad in the Moonlight Chicken trailer :( I really hope they'll get a happy ending here, whether that's together or separately doesn't matter to me
