Dubbed? I run from just dubbed content.
Seems like I'm not very good at explaining what I mean. I also only watch media in the original language. For Dear Hongrang as well, I watched it in Korean. I didn't even know it was dubbed in other languages.

Right away in episode 1, I can tell that there is something off about the (Korean) audio. It sounds like they added on their voices in a studio after filming, including sound effects (like flipping the papers in a book and the sound of walking). The quality of the audio also varied for the actors (Jo Jaeyoon's voice sound quality was especially bad in ep 1). From a non-biased pov, Lee Jaewook was the only one who sounded alright to me. It reminded me of how they do it in Cdramas, hence the mention. I'm very much aware that they usually don't do this in Kdramas. I also understand that in Cdramas they use voice actors, but in Dear Hongrang I recognised the voices of the actors.

I don't know why they did this, but it sounded bad to me. I got used to it, but I hate that they did this. If I'm wrong, then there is something else wrong with the audio. Maybe if you watch it without headphones you might not notice it. If you watch this drama, try that method instead and you might have a better experience than I had.

If you don't understand what I was trying to say, why are you explaining it to someone else? Say it to me directly instead.

You can clearly hear that they have recorded their voices and added it after filming. The audio doesn't match their lips and the quality of the audio for the different actors varies. It's in the original Korean version, hence I used Cdramas to compare as the voices are often added after. Maybe "dubbed" wasn't the best word to use, but English isn't my first language.

If you actually watch the drama, you will see what I mean.

Maybe I used the wrong terminology. If you watch the drama, you will understand what I mean

Let’s hope it doesn’t become a trend

No, I mean that the actors have added their own voice in Korean after filming. It’s the original media.

The director definitely had a vision. It's giving the dark forest in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone mixed with Wuxia Cdramas. I hate the dub. 6,5/10

Update~! :) I found a kind LUNÉ that has added English subtitles. Here is a YouTube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGLo6wbaCcViIzZIUVfic4bm7BbHMq1iH
So far they have subbed 8 episodes. But I haven't watched the videos with the subtitles so I don't know how accurate they are. Still, I wanted to share in case you want to know ^^

No character development whatsoever. She wants to know how much of a victim she can become by not opening her mouth. The other 3 are just the same. They just want to suffer and not stand up for themselves. It's the same thing every episode: the characters get badly treated and then we are supposed to pity the perpetrator. And why does Dae Ho exist?? I like Im Siwan, but this is bad!

When you get to know Seo Kang Joon, that's when you realize just how incredible he is. I reread his old interviews…
Can you link those interviews? Would love to read about it too :)

Title Our Youth
I haven't started this yet but I just want to say that in case you didn't know, this drama is based on a Korean manhwa and it's really good! It's one of my favourites~ Link: https://myanimelist.net/manga/159696/Our_Youth

I didn't know this was the adaptation until now, since it's a Jdrama, haha. I'll definitely be watching this then ^^

Overall liking this a lot so far (only seen 3 & 1/2 episodes), but can someone tell me why they are playing a childish version of the melody for the Swedish national anthem when that fashion show employee is hitting on that debt collector/guard and then them farting in ep 3? I guess it’s a bit funny…? But also not at all. Like ew tf why? Would love to hear the reasoning behind their choice of bgm for this series…

the message is that hitmen exist, hitmen who don’t kill minors, and female hitmen, who probably also struggle…
That's not a message, that's just the premise of the character.

Forgot I even made this comment, haha
