I'm going to have to disagree. I can't see the Chinese supporting the idea that the West is 'better' at anything,…
> I can't see the Chinese supporting the idea that the West is 'better' at anything, much less technology.
That is odd. Catching up to the West in various areas like Rocket Science has been a common narrative in China for the past 15 years & to an extent still is.
> China is the biggest producer of microchips, so the US isn't cutting them off from, in fact the opposite.
They literally cannot produce the latest greatest chips & want to catch up. They mass produce the cheap ancient stuff that is still very important & everyone wants them, but they are dominating the market with their cheaper prices, not the technology.
Somehow, I cannot stop thinking of the parallel: mankind = China, trisolarians = the West. Like: The West has…
While I see your point, the first book had been written back in 2008, at the time China was still moving towards being more open the West, they have yet to enter the current dark timeline.
Well, another big turd from cdrama industry.Same same FL with multiple ex boyfriends.same same ML who is a extremely…
The audience is 80% women & as such they will cater to their perceived preferences. (they may not be able to empathize with a pure virgin 30 yo woman, but dream about getting together with such a guy)
But yeah as the other commenters have said, there are other cdramas where the ML is a former player, harem owner and such. Korean shows are probably worse in this regard at least on average.
Personally I don't very much care about this at all, I only care about the present time romance in dramas.
>Will Jeong U and Min Hyeong be able to uncover the truth of the case?Of course they will. Boring.Give me a k-drama…
>Give me a k-drama where they don't actually learn anything in the end, where they fail to solve the mystery and end up clueless.
I cannot imagine that. We really tried guys, but failed > THE END. Very few would enjoy that, unless it was an otherwise very satisfying romantic comedy.
Someone please explain `Y. found of food` to me. The people who made the subtitles were rather competent I think, so it's possible the problem is with my comprehension. I thought it would be either `Y. found food` or `Y. fond of food` ..
I deleted my previous bullshit speculative posts, here is what actually happened:
So in ep30 they have a final scene together where they hold hands & that scene gets a very Chaplin-esque, beautiful cinematographic outro. Following that they have a dinner or breakfast date & get caught by netizens. (this is not shown to us, but the leads talk about the social media activity & commend their friend getting together with a female celebrity)
So that's all. It's not very satisfying, but I have seen far far worse, especially considering they only had like 10-20 minutes of screen time together over the course of 30 episodes.
>Overall, "You're My Lover Friend" was an amazing watch.
30/30 episodes seen, when newest epi is 25. I really dislike it when people write "completed" reviews like this. Especially considering that oftentimes the last episodes is where dramas flop.

Thank you for the answer!
Is the comedy good? Is there a lot of stalling?

Is FL dating multiple guys at the same time with her multiple personalities? Or is it like Kill Me Heal Me?
