The books at least the first 2 are absolutely incredible & largely inspired western Science Fiction writers for over 10 years now. I don't care much about the author's public and personal political views, though I call bullshit about the subtext thing in the Three Body series, though if you want to over-explain every little thing, maybe it is possible to go in that direction!?

If you like Sci-fi I can recommend Three Body. (It's the adaptation of the most popular -in the West- Chinese novel of all time)

I have. Universe is good though, though there are too many filler episodes in season 1.

I'll go with Stargate, as silly as it is at times. Scifi works like this one are a rarity in Hollywood, because Scifi productions are expensive to make & the studios seem to think drama sells more than hard science fiction.

Orville is fun, but it's more of an educational comedy than actual scifi, even more so than Star Trek.

I often hate how in Cdramas intros and outros spoil everything. However I can really appreciate it in this one.

Much better rating than 8.5? It seems rather good as of episode 7, but that is a wee bit of an exaggeration. (plus it would be nice if everyone rated honestly, making MDL ratings fairer and more trustworthy)

It's REALLY airing. I could watch the episodes without subtitles, if I really wanted to. The drama visually looks like a kdrama from the year 2000. (not necessarily a big negative, if the plot is good)

I'm kind of curious, I hope fanmade subtitles appear soon. (Some screens i've seen remind me of Hogu's Love, but this being THAT good seems unlikely..)
