It's fine and great that the mom finally realized she was wrong, and apologized to the daughter... but did she…
in east Asian culture, we don’t marry the individual, we marry the family. The concept is changing, especially since the 90s, but even now, especially in the more traditional families, parents definitely do weigh in on such matters. This happens in Korean families too. Of course not everyone and I think in this day and age, this is less of a thing, but yes, it’s cultural.
Visually, the CP is a complete mismatch. The Ml has a mature and elegant beauty to him, whole the FL looks like she’s still in MS or HS with very girlish looks.
But surprisingly, they make sense and make it work in this drama.
The drama is light and fluffy, and easy to watch. I recommend it to everyone and also wish the ML would get cast in more higher budget dramas in leading roles.
💫Haha fl’s brother is 15 years old in real life 😅 I thought rather 11/12 😁
I can't believe he's grown so much. Growing up before our eyes. T^T He's in almost all the popular dramas out this year. Once he turns 16, he'd be able to play main roles.
Yes, I think it has to do with the wig (the whiskers)
That part of the novel always stays with me. In an ideal world, XL and XY would be one anther's forever companion, exploring the world, trying everything and eager to experience the new together, merrily drinking end eating with not a care in this world...
Here's the clip where TJC explains how they brought food to each other and ended up gaining weight together. :)

Contour makeup & facial expression in addition to the wig is definitely a possibility too! XL is supposed to look like an otherworldly ethereal beautiful creature that can stop anyone in their tracks-- I wouldn't be surprised if they used makeup to sculpt his face more for the role of XL. :)
It's fine and great that the mom finally realized she was wrong, and apologized to the daughter... but did she ever apologize to the ML for saying all those mean things? The thing I hate about these Cdramas and their mean trope is the sheer disregard for others. If their children are precious to them, they should realize that whoever they're antagonizing and treating with disrespect too is a beloved and precious child of someone.

Also, I love that the little brother is their biggest shipper ❤️
