Korean Drama '' Tell Me That You Love Me '' is an emotional love story. The drama has beautiful cinematography, with a slow tempo and a sensitive view on the main lead's disability. The love story, moreover, was sweet, romantic, and realistic, even though the ending felt rushed and wasn't handled as smoothly as the rest of the story.
The performances, in addition, were brilliant, with the male leading actor, especially, doing a brilliant job talking in sign language. He also had chemistry with his partner. The side characters were enjoyable as well.
So, overall, eight out of ten.

Korean Drama '' Night Has Come '' is a death game with a class of high school students as participants. The drama starts off quite strongly, with the story being gripping and intriguing enough to spark the interest and to have the viewer look for who is behind everything and to figure out what is going on. The use of the mafia game was interesting as well. The bloodshed, though plenty, wasn't just there for show, moreover, but used nicely in the plot. Also, some characters were quite fascinating to follow.
However, the ending was what ruined this drama. First of all, it raised more questions than answers. Also, it was unsatisfying, leaving things unsolved, probably, but unlikely, hinting at a second season. Finally, nothing was explained about that final plot twist, as to how the masterminds behind the game managed to do as they did.
At least, the performances were strong by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Drama '' The Matchmakers '' is a historical romantic comedy. The drama has a delightful to watch female lead, who was adorable, sassy, feisty, and nailed her emotional moments. She actually carried the drama when things started getting cheesy and boring.
Also, the couple was enjoyable to watch, as they had interesting banter and their dynamics were spot on. However, the love story was just okay, taking off only toward the ending of the series, and being more or less unoriginal. Still, the drama handled them having a significant other that they missed masterfully.
The performances, finally, were pretty great by everyone in the cast, even the side characters. The final episodes, however, were rushed and boring.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama '' Twinkling Watermelon '' is a slice of life, music, and fantasy drama. The drama uses time travel to its fullest, smoothly using it to push the story forward, without forgetting about it once the plot starts unfolding. Rather, it is always there, and spices up the story here and there.
Also, the family drama was at its finest, intense enough to keep things dramatic, but also with sensitivity and sweetness throughout the family interactions.
The music, in addition, was pretty enjoyable, as were the performances by everyone in the cast. And even though the romance was cheesy and not its strongest suit, it was nice enough.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Korean Drama '' The Killing Vote '' is a chilling thriller that combines many criminal cases, but mainly focuses on the mystery of the dog-masked man who kills those whom the law doesn't punish accordingly. The drama, therefore, has an intense story, with some crimes being really dark and harsh to follow. Also, towards the ending, everything comes together, even those characters that seemed pointless to watch all this time have their own part in the mystery. Actually, all the characters were interesting, especially the professor, who was a tragic character. The performances were pretty great as well, and there should be a special shout out to the younger members of the cast who really shone.
However, on the other hand, the ending was lukewarm. Sure, there were some moments when the drama started getting blunt and tiring to follow, as they kept dragging, but the ending could have wrapped up things more smoothly.
So, overall, six and a half out of ten.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama '' The Escape of the Seven : War for Survival '' is a thiller-melodrama.The drama has a strong start, hooking the viewer with its frustrating plot and the truly evil main leads who will stop at nothing in order to satisfy their egoistic needs.
And yet, in the second half, things got too ridiculous, even for a melodrama. And it also got boring, as it lost its sense of purpose, and changed its story all together, but without a satisfying result.
Also, the use of technology was eye rolling and only there to cover up twists that either backfired or were too out of hand to handle.
The performances, finally, were enjoyable and just right for the genre.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama '' The Deal '' is a thriller about three friends and a really sticky situation. The drama starts out pretty strongly and is a psychologically twisty spiral that goes deeper and deeper into darkness, as the characters have to make their choices.
However, the drama suffers from its short length. Thus, it didn't have the chance to have a smooth progress, or have things develop organically. And, as the drama started adding more genres and more situations and twists, everything happened too quickly. In the end, the conclusion was rushed as well.
The performances, on the other hand, were all great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Korean Drama '' Sweet Home Season Two '' takes things from where the first season left things off, with the residents leaving their apartments and venturing out, trying to find a new safe place, while they also fight the army forces that have their own agenda. It was nice, first of all, to learn more about the creatures and the mutations, even though the drama doesn't go too deep into it, probably leaving things to be explored further in the seasons that are yet to come.
However, and even though there were some characters that were interesting to follow, the drama was too short and, thus, it had to present things rushly and not elaborate too much on each of them, which was a minus, as the story stopped following the already known characters and went on introducing new ones and new situations. Thus, it left a lot of fans of the first season unsatisfied, as their favorite ones didn't have much screen time, and it was hard to keep up after a while with all the new characters and too little information about them.
The performances, on the other hand, were pretty enjoyable and the CGI decent enough.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Japanese Drama '' Kekkon Yoteibi '' is an office romance. The story is fun, even though it's pretty predictable and somehow basic. But the way the drama is filmed, and the choice to use monologues acted out to the camera by the characters, were what spiced things up and helped the drama stand out.
And even though it's short and has some things underdeveloped, it managed to wrap up the story nicely in the end.
The performances, in addition, were great by every actor and actress in the cast and the leading lady was especially cute without being annoying.
Another plus is that the drama didn't shy away from showing a little intimate moment between the two leads.
So, overall, six out of ten.
