Japanese Drama " Murai no Koi " is a school romantic comedy about a teacher who has an obsession with a character from a game, and a student who looks like the character and is in love with her.The drama had its cute moments, though, the overall story was half-baked and had some twists that were conveniently resolved. That is probably due to its short length, which did not aid with the story in general.
The characters, moreover, were nicely portrayed, and the leading lady was especially enjoyable and adorable, and handled her comedy scenes masterfully.
So, overall, three out of ten.

Korean Drama " Law School " is a court drama full of twists and turns. With a dark academia feel to it, the story follows a group of law students as they are shocked to discover that their beloved teacher is accused of a crime. That triggers a series of revelations about the students and the whole school system.
The drama has a unique way of presenting things, often blending the current events with the timeline of the past, which got confusing more often than not.
It also got a bit stuffy towards the middle, and the first few episodes were not as intriguing, but the ones that followed the main characters as they revealed their true colours were quite enjoyable.
The performances, in addition, were pretty great from everyone in the cast.
So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Movie " Kill Bok Soon " is an action drama about an assassin who wants to protect her daughter. The movie has nice premises, with the story taking some dark alleys when it came to Bo Soon's story and her whole personality. However, her dark, sinister world came at odds with her relationship with her daughter, which was, more or less, a normal mother-teenage-daughter relationship, with its ups and downs, frictions, rebellions, and secrets.
However, the overall result is just okay. The action scenes were nicely handled, the political drama was interesting but predictable more or less, and the pace was messy. The story in general was half baked.
The performances, at least, were all great, especially by the leading lady that nailed her fighting scenes.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama " Island Season Two " is the second part of the sci fi series with a horror undertone. The story goes deeper into the past of the heroes and the myth that surrounds the island. The big battle finally arrives as well, with the drama focusing on the characters preparing for it.
On the plus side, the mood was there and the fantasy element was well handled.
On the other hand, the characters turned out to be cliche stereotypes, especially when it came to the reincarnation of the main lead, which was eye-rolling at some point.
The performances were enjoyable though.
So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Drama " Island " is the first part of the sci fi fantasy drama that is a webtoon adaption. The drama has some intriguing characters and a gothic mood to it, with a few notions of horror and a lot of mystical plotlines.
It would have aided the drama a lot with the two main characters had more scenes together and better chemistry to justify their 'bond' and help the viewer engage and care about them.
The story, also, needed more time to have a proper development.
Nevertheless, it was enjoyable and the performances were pretty nice.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Korean Drama " Family: The Unbreakable Bond " is a drama about family (obviously), mystery, action, and suspense. The drama does a good job of creating a nice family environment. The bonds between the family members provide the plot with many comical scenes and aid with the emotional build up.
On the other hand, and oddly enough, the couple didn't have much dynamic to work with. This tells a lot about the success of the drama, as the main leads were the killer point of the series, being a famous acting couple and all.
On the other hand, the mystery of the wife's past was intriguing and was well handled. It provided the plot with a lot of action scenes and suspenseful moments as well.
The performances, moreover, were pretty enjoyable by everyone in the cast.
However, the story lacked consistency and enjoyment in some of its episodes.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama " Extraordinary Attorney Woo " is a law drama with a strong female lead.First of all, Park Eun Bin is truly shining in this one. Sure, she proved that she can ACT in The King's Affection, but in this drama, she handled her character with such care and sensibility that she didn't overdo it, but rather, she was enjoyable.
The rest of the cast did also a good job with their characters, though Park Eun Bin is the true star.
As for the story, its sweet, sad at times, but hopeful nevertheless.
The creators, moreover, handled the CGI pretty nicely and it was a cute touch tot he story.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Korean Drama "Duty After School Part Two" is the continuation and conclusion of the story. The drama takes up from where the first part left off, even though it feels like the characters had gone through a major character development, as they are left alone to fend for themselves, while having to choose between staying at their protected spot or venturing out to find their families.
The story, moreover, presents a new twist, with the main villain, in the end, and the main danger being the students themselves rather than the aliens that have now taken over.
As for the characters, they really grew up and distinguished themselves, with their relationship offering plenty of emotional scenes, especially considering that they are just young people robed from their chance of living their teenage years.
Finally, the performances were pretty enjoyable.
However, the ending was rushed and didn't offer any information for what happened next.
So, overall, six and a half out of ten.

Korean Drama " Dute After School Part One " is a sci fi horror story in a school setting. The story is full of emotional scenes and a few gory ones, with the aliens and their invasion being kept at bay for the last episodes when the action truly kicks in.
The characters, moreover, are kind of annoying, truly teenagers caring for having fun and focusing on their own problems, rather than the current situation, that is until they come face to face with their reality. Which is to say that they were realistic and original.
As for the performances, everyone in the cast, especially the young ones, did a great job with their characters.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Good Enough
Korean Drama " Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow " is the second season of the hit drama that infuses fantasy, martial arts, and romance. The second season takes a new turn on the characters, turning the tables on who the main lead, and shifting his personality from a carefree, arrogant aristocrat to a dark, cold one who is all business. The trick with the female lead was nicely handled, in addition, and the main couple's relationship was enjoyable to watch, as they organically started getting closer and closer.
However, when it comes to the political aspect of the drama, this season didn't have much to offer. Some nice battles spiced things up, and they were indeed masterfully presented, proving once again that the team behind the CGI worked hard to create a realistic result. On the other hand, the twists weren't that original and the drama was predictable.
Finally, the performances were all enjoyable from everyone in the cast.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Korean Drama " Kiss Sixth Sense " is a office romantic comedy with a fantasy twist. The drama utilizes the trope of the strict boss-bright and sunny employee to its fullest, in addition to giving them a common background with their fantasy subplot that connected them together from the begining. That fantasy element was also what gave the romance a head start, though that was awkwardly handled. The love story, overall, was messily paced and used a lot of cheese tropes to support it, even having a love triangle to spice things up. However, the second lead had more chemistry with the female second lead and they seemed better as a couple. As for the fantasy part, it was thrilling at first, but got boring and overused after a while.
Finally, the performances were enjoyable from everyone in the cast.
So, overall, three out of ten.

Japanese Drama " Seishun Cinderella " is a school romantic comedy with a time travelling twist. The drama has all the right vibes, with a youthful mood, and all ther tropes and twists of a school romance. The two main leads, moreover, were cute together, however, the time travelling trope presented many problems for the couple, thus ruining the love story, as when the romance was strarting to progress, the 'from the future' protagonist would put a stop to it, thus messing with the pace.
However, the friendship between the girls was spot on, sweet and with smooth dynamics.
The performances were great by everyone in the cast as well.
Finally, the drama handled the fantasy element nicely.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Korean Drama " Unlock My Boss " is a business thriller with a sci fi twist. The drama has some interesting characters that support the whole drama and craft a nice puzzle of unexpected heroes that come together to solve a mystery.
The side characters were also pretty entertaining and their stories were emotional and gave a nice twist on the main story.
The latter was suspenseful, but predictable as well, with the main mystery relying mostly on the power struggle and the dynamics of the characters than to create a fresh view on the story.
The romance, moreover, was something that the story could live without.
The performances, finally, were enjoyable by everyone in the cast.

Korean Drama " First Responders " Season One is a thriller with a well-crafted team of responders. The drama uses its two main key factors to its fullest. The main team of three was excellent, with their personalities bonding smoothly together and just working out perfectly. Their interactions were entertaining and their chemistry perfect. Though, the romance was an odd choice and it could have worked without it.
The other highlight of the drama was its cases. Each one was interesting to follow, dark and suspenseful, but also emotional and humane.
The performances, in addition, were perfect and enjoyable by everyone in the cast, who acted out their action scenes masterfully.
