I'm confused about who is top and who is bottom and I LOVE IT! But yeah, I guess they will fall back to the typical…
Does it matter who is top and who is bottom? That's kind of a bizarre thing to focus on.

Ok, so episode one is off to a pretty good start. I was kind of blasé about the series in general because nothing about the storyline or the teaser had really caught my attention, but after watching the first episode I'm actually more intrigued than I thought I'd be. The main characters have a really good rapport starting out that I think could really develop into a strong chemistry as we go through the series. I enjoyed Sotus S and interested to hear that the same director worked on this series so I'm hopefully we'll get a good project out of this. So far so good!

Tul is Tin's half-brother from his father's first relationship. His father's family didn't want him to be with…
I'm not entirely sure how it ends because when I tried read the novel the English translations weren't complete (they may be now but I haven't checked for them in awhile), so I kind of had to piece things together, but from what I understand Tin winds up redeeming himself and just kind of ends up feeling sorry for his brother because he realizes he's got serious issues. I also haven't read really any of Tul/Hin's story because it starts off right away with a pretty disturbing rape scene so...yeah...

On My Day the Series Sep 13, 2020
I never had as much of an issue with the series at the start as some people had, but I've been slowly growing more and more attached to a lot of the characters. I really love Sky's family and I'm starting to really like Ace and Sky together, they have a really sweet/cute dynamic. I wish it would stay this way and they'd just continue developing what they feel for each other but I'm sure Moira's going to come back in the picture at some point. I also really like Ace's friend Kim and their friendship, so far they've done quite a few things right with this series. It's still pretty Hallmark level cheesy, but it's feel good in that way haha so far I'm happy to keep watching to see where this goes, whereas some other series I've either dropped at this point or am on the verge of dropping.

Um. This series is one big massive jumble of "what the hell is going on?" Aside from the fact that it's poorly produced and conceived, other than Mark and his Aunt's relationship, it's just a mess. I honestly don't even like Mark and Henry together, I think their relationship is pretty problematic. This last episode was just...bizarre.

Can someone tell me what’s the deal with Tin’s brother for those who read the novel.
Tul is Tin's half-brother from his father's first relationship. His father's family didn't want him to be with Tul's mom so they made him break off the relationship and marry Tin's mom. Tul's mom is British and basically abandoned him with his dad and moved back to the UK when they separated. Tul is...messed up. He has a lot of issues. He basically hates women, especially his grandmother who was abusive to him as a child. He's in a secret, rather toxic (some say S&M but I don't know, Mame's work is borderline inappropriate when it comes to those themes, there's not a lot of consent involved in her work) relationship with his personal assistant who is a man. He pretty much wants to destroy his family and take over because of what happened to him and his mom. He hates Tin because Tin is considered the "wanted" son, so he does everything he can to lower him in the eyes of his family and ruin his life since he wants to be his father's heir. His goal is to make everyone trust and love him more than Tin, mainly because he has a misplaced sense of hate and jealousy, but also because he wants everything Tin is supposed to have. He's the reason Tin was sent abroad to study, he's also the one who set him up to look like he was a druggie and leaked that information to the news to ruin his reputation. He targets Can later on in the novel. Basically he spends all his time appearing to be perfect in front of his family and making various attempts at ruining Tin's life which is why Tin doesn't trust him. He actually has his own separate novel called Breath that revolves around him and his lover.

This was so great, completely blew all of my expectations out of the water. I laughed, I cried, I felt what the characters were feeling...definitely one of the best. So much care and thought went into this. I'm honestly sad it's over and I'm going to genuinely miss the characters (though I'm glad there's going to be a little sequel with our girl Pearl). Definitely a recommended watch, it might start out a bit slow for some people but it's definitely worth it to watch through to the end.

That’s the impression I got. Mean looks dejected the entire time, Plan is trying but the scenes are not flowing…
I think one of the problems, that I'm not sure they're going to resolve based on how things are going, is that Pete doesn't leave until the last two or three chapters of the novel. There's a whole storyline that's missing. So now that they've basically rewound TinCan and fastforwarded AePete, everything is out of sync. Ae is having a much more prominent role than he probably should at this point, because I'm sure his company wanted him highlighted, but there's not much plot for him without someone playing Pete's part. I'm getting the impression we may get some annoying made up subplot to keep his role alive. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a new love interest at this point. Right now he seems to be more of a main role than a support role if I'm honest. I guess we'll see how things progress. It's just all very strange.

As far as the production/direction I have no idea. I thought it was interesting that New even agreed to come back to direct this when he originally said he never would. I'm wondering if that's why this is suffering. It seems like his heart isn't really in it. I haven't been super impressed with his work lately but this is surprising quality of work even for him. I mean I feel like UWMA was disjointed and had some plot issues that made it drag far too long, but it was still shot very well and had good production value (imo), the acting direction was good too so yeah...I'm not sure what's happening here. It also could just be that's he's stretched way too thin so all his work is suffering for it. I think we were all a little surprised by the amount of projects he was announced as taking on at the beginning of the year, now I'm not so sure that was the best move.

Bass' character name is *Wayu*? Seriously??? And Copter's character name is *Kit*???
From what I've read the story is based of a fanfiction that was a spinoff of 2Moons, that's why the names are so similar. If you read the novel the story is basically an alternate universe of 2Moons with some new characters lol though I'll warn you if you're interested in reading the translation isn't very good, which is surprising considering it's an "official" translation. I think a fan translating it would have probably done a better job.

People here talking about watching episode 3, while I only watched up to 2. And I am not that eager to even watch…
A lot of people are watching illegally so they don't show support to the show. There's a lot of drama with the writer being problematic so people are boycotting watching the show on official channels, just an FYI for why a lot of people aren't waiting for episodes to release.

I'm sorry to say this is a complete and total downgrade from season 2. I can't even believe it's the same people working on and acting in it. And honestly, I can see why. They jumped through so many unnecessary hoops to basically erase Saint was ever there, that now it's a total mess. If they would have all acted like adults and just continued the story from season 1 it would have probably been heaps better. New was in a flush of success at the time, now he's just burned out and you can tell, nothing about this series is fresh. Mame (who is problematic in her own right) wouldn't have had to edit the storyline to the point that the writing is subpar, this is so slapdash I'm not surprised people are suspecting she just threw it together last minute. The actors would have still had chemistry together rather than it being like strangers trying to pick up a two-year-old storyline again. You can literally tell nobody's heart is in this, it's like a husk of what LBC was and used to be and it's...really sad to watch as a fan of the original series. LBC had its problems but they were minimal compared to this.

Guys why cant you all be patient? They just wanted to give a but of refresher since its been two years just incase…
"Pete left because of manager drama". Are you kidding? These people tried to ruin his career! He didn't "leave" he was never invited to participate. I can't believe people are still defending how horribly he was treated. It's one thing to support the show but it's not fair to gloss over what happened just because as a fan of the show you want it to succeed.

What happened to them in the novel?
They break up for a time and Pete leaves because his dad is threatening Ae, but they get back together in the end.

It is definitely bizarre that the writer chose to re-do Tin and Can's relationship from the beginning. The fact that it now aligns with when Pete and Ae aren't together makes no sense. I don't really understand why it was necessary to start from the beginning with Tin and Can? Especially when you still have the same two actors portraying the characters, it's just confusing. Their story left off at a good place last season, and now we have to re-hash everything from the beginning?

I'll be honest this is starting off on a disappointing note. I was pretty gutted when it was confirmed Saint wasn't coming back to play Pete, I thought that was incredibly shitty (everyone involved in that drama is so childish tbh they did Saint dirty) but I thought they might still be able to make it work because technically Pete does leave for a time in the novel but now I don't know. It just feels like some poorly conceived decisions for no good reason. I feel like they took one of the best and most looked forward to series and completely butchered it. Seems pretty counter-intuitive, if it's not broken don't fix it! I'm also getting more and more confused about New's directing. I was so excited for him as a director after the first series of LBC but his latest works have been continual disappointments.

It was ok. Nothing super special but cute if you need something to pass the time. I think what helps make this series watchable is the fact that it's short. Some of the characters were borderline grating, and some of the scenes that didn't really involve the main character's storyline were definitely skip-able. Overall pretty middle of the road but not terrible.

But you don't know anything about him yet, and we've had clues that there are some very troubling things he's…
People are just going to have different opinions. I appreciate Wil's straightforwardness, and his being open and honest about his feelings toward Joey. He hasn't tried to hide it at all. I would rather that then the usual push-pull type of relationship we usually get, and I'm getting from Jimmy. I'd also say that Joey isn't exactly giving off "back off" vibes, or has told Wil in any way that he's not interested or to stop. In fact, he often initiates touch, like hand-holding, and spends a lot of time with him. I'm not saying that means it's a green light, but he's also not giving a red light, so I'm not surprised Wil is just continuing to pursue him. Joey knows he likes him, the guy straight up declared himself and what he says is "don't give up on me?" That's not a negative lol.

I'm sure things will change, in fact, I expect them to which is what's boring to me. This essentially feels like a re-make of Boys Over Flowers (the gay version), or something similar and I honestly couldn't stand the plot to that series, so it's not all that surprising I'm not down for this. I seriously can't comprehend what they're going to do for 30 episodes so we'll see, I may drop it at some point if it just continues to be filler. We actually have seen Jimmy, like all the guys except for Joey, display trans-phobic behavior? He refused to acknowledge his aunt's designations and pronouns even after being told multiple times how to address her. Which is another issue I have with the series as a whole. For being supposedly LGBTQ+ friendly they're doing a pretty poor job with some of the writing and characters, particularly around trans individuals.

Jimmy cleaning his own room and not hogging the whole closet is the least he could do imo, not much effort in that is there? And if I'm honest I'd actually prefer Wil to be the villain. At least there's a twist in that, rather than watching him pine away for Joey. I'm not entirely sure what's creepy about him offering Joey the chance to transfer into his room if he wanted to. Joey was right that he had told him previously he didn't like sharing his space, so I thought it was sweet that he made it clear if Joey needed it he would share his space with him. I agree I did feel like he crossed a line when he declared them boyfriends, even though it happens a lot in BL dramas, I don't know about sexual harassment but I do think it was inappropriate. I also have zero to say about the love ballad that you'll agree with because I loved it, so I think this is a case of agree to disagree. Again they could very well be leading up to Wil being the baddy but I'm not opposed to that at all lmao if he's not going to get Joey, why not? hah. At the moment, with the information we've been given, I prefer him as Joey's love interest but if we're going down a more interesting side plot where he turns out to not be so sweet and accommodating I'm not against it.

I honestly don't think I can stand this for 30 episodes. What are they going to fill 30 episodes worth of content with? The majority of the episodes are filler as it is. Still primarily watching for Wil. I'm actually kind of hoping he's a villain lol that would spice up his character. I'd rather watch him turn into the villain than get his heartbroken if I'm honest. If he can't have Joey, why not? hah.
