So far Didi is the only actor rumored for this, which is consistent with his other projects (except this one). Last year, Didi mentioned he had “read a script and watched the anime” for a project. I’m wondering he was referring to this one.

Director Yin Tao has a pretty good and consistent list of works and most of them are of good quality, so normal performance is no problem. Also he may not be the only director. Sure, there are indeed some emerging directors who suddenly gain popularity due to one particular work, but whether their quality is consistent remains to be seen.

There is another rumor VS out there though. Apparently Didi is too popular. Variety shows can't attract sponsors without him, and dramas can't pass w/ investors without him.
