This is not a romance focus drama and it’s normal as a Male Centric drama not to have much romance development. I just saw rumor today it is January again. 😄 If the production team wants to rush the start, Didi will have to take a leave to go to the NBA. There are also cases where the male and female leads of a drama film separately and then combine their footage later, as long as the coordination is well-managed. I’m guessing it wont be later than March because Didi suppose to film a costume drama the second half of next year. I think he is still committed to it (he had to drop filming a movie for this).

Yep, season 2 is confirmed, but Dylan Wang is already fully booked through 2027 and recently got entangled with an unexpected project. Hopefully they already booked him.
The novel has 900 chapters, so possibly would take at least 3 or more seasons. The first season of the TV series did cut quite a bit, of course.
