I was just rewatching this and forgot how good it is. But why would wearing damp underwear give someone diarrhea?…
I think you mentioned that you lived in East Asia for a while. If it was long enough, then I think you exactly what kind of "only drink hot water", "don't bathe for a month after giving birth" health advice this is.
It seems some people are ready to suspend reality for the notion of two guys from prominent families in Thailand being engaged to each other and the families not minding to the point that Lian's father is more worried about him opening a club and that affecting his relationship instead of him marrying a guy and that affecting their reputation, but aren't willing to suspend reality for super dom-sub roles of the main couples and instead judge them as if these characters aren't living in a complete fantasy world...
Yeah, that's what I assume from watching Thai BLs. It's always close friends using it, but when someone says it as an insult, you hear the serious music in the background. haha
I'm with you Texas Titan. There is more to a relationship than just the beginning and how a couple get together.…
Right, Texas Titan mentioned, not Tis_I, but in your in your comment to Tis_I, you asked her specifically why drag SOTUS into it. Tis_I didn't mention SOTUS. lol
Quiet as it’s kept, but Valen and Non are the ones that actually need to be together. Kaitoon was doing just fine being dedicated to work and school. 🤷♂️
I'm a very firmly committed fan of Force, but this show has required a bit of rewiring in order for me to really enjoy it. First of all, the "Enchanté" part. It's not a harem plot and the guys aren't truly romantically chasing after Theo. They're background noise and that's fine, but that's not what this was advertised to be. I'll go a bit further, even though it's rather early, and speculate that even if we were to have an adversary trying to get after Theo for his money or whatever to add to the drama, we'd only need one or at most two, but four? Phupha and Natee are conniving enough. But what is Saifah doing except looking good and playing a guitar? Why is Vayo even here??? lol Unlike many, I don't have much of a negative opinion of Theo. He's kinda like sliced white bread. Nothing special, but when you spread some good butter (Akk) on it, it's delicious.
I don't know what else to say besides well done to all the actors. This won't get the clout and the credit this deserves immediately, but maybe, hopefully, after these actors go on to do some other, more popular or happy work, people will look in their list of other dramas they were in and discover this one. Green (Ben) really stood out to me this episode. Before, I was a bit sad that I wouldn't get to see the pairing of Tae and Chap again in The Tuxedo, but at this point, I'm very much looking forward to seeing Green with Chap.
I feel this way whenever I watch a grand court drama but man, do I want to visit Beijing again and go to the Forbidden…
As a resident of Beijing, a word of advice if you want to catch the palace covered in snow: come in mid to late January. After you get here, check the weather to see when it’s scheduled to snow. Buy your ticket for the palace as soon as you see it because everyone and their mom dressed in their best hanfu are gonna be there for photo ops too. Lastly, get there very early. Snow usually falls at night here and is often melted/mushy by the afternoon.
If the forbidden city doesn’t work out, you can buy tickets the day of at the other palaces and temples that are built in the same style and offer great photo ops as well. 😊
i have big problem with Ice character's real life parents. Because the actor is 14 years old and they let him…
In theory, I think it'd be weird to cast a 14 year old when everyone else is so old, but I don't think his character got put in a situation that was terribly inappropriate for his age? And as far as the storyline, aside from cheating, what else really happened in this that a 14-year-old or even 11 or 12 year old wouldn't already be very well aware of?
Well, we can't say nothing happened in THIS episode! "Gen Y 2" should borrow these writers for their last few…
I hate that I do this and play Devil's advocate for the assholes of BL (a la Khai from Theory of Love), but hear me out. lol You mentioned in another comment about the possible kiss in the next episode being interrupted by Valen. If that's really the way it goes, then it destroys absolutely everything. Like obliterates it and leaves Valen in the same position you mention King being in for years to come. Valen's biggest character flaws are insecurity and selfishness. Pretty much since he's been involved with Kaitoon, we see him slowly, but surely working himself out of being so selfish all the time. A very minor example is when they were at the beach and Valen didn't want to share his noodles, but in the end, he did.
The flaw he is nowhere near done working through is insecurity and unfortunately, I can't knock him that bad for it. Everyone's insecure about something. And, at least for me, two more factors are at play: 1) Kaitoon is naïve, I'm sorry, but the boy isn't clever. Nont would need to hit him over the head with a bouquet of roses in order to for him to realize he likes him. Look how long it took him to realize Valen wasn't just being weird! and 2) Nont has indeed been trying to get with Valen this whole entire time and Valen saw that exactly for what it was.
If Valen sees Nont go in for the kiss and Kaitoon does anything except back away before their lips touch, it won't matter if someone explains in detail how he was wrong about the Valentine's Day mess with Peat and Sean because he wasn't wrong about Nont's feelings towards Kaitoon (even if he is wrong about Kaitoon's feelings towards Nont).
Valen is a mess and a half, I get it, but I swear I can't hate the kid.
Sean: *locks fingers*
God I love Sundays

It truly isn't a BL if there isn't a beach episode.
