This reminds me of that time in Love By Chance when Pete told he that "got ready", so they definitely needed to have sex that night. lol

I feel bad for not paying as much attention to him because he’s so cute, but my mind is totally elsewhere. 😂

Random thoughts about ep. 9
I'm having I'm having a great time. This is my favorite Thai BL out right now.
As far as the big mystery goes, I think we all knew Todd was suspicious from the beginning, but tbh Dan and even Gumpa are a little sus to me too.
Even though Dan may end up being somewhat of a traitor, I'm still loving him with Yok and SeanWhite are SENDING me with all their kisses and pillow talk.
When Namo confronted Sean about him and White, I had flashbacks to Theory of Love and thought she was about to go ape sh** in Paan or whatever her name was, but thankfully that did not happen. lol

That seems reasonable enough.

I'd be happy with a Love Area: Part 3 as well. There's way too many loose ends. We haven't even begun to know what's going on with Peat.

Beach filler in the penultimate episode has become somewhat of a trope of Thai BLs and I don't know why. Just to name a few: Why R U?, Lovely Writer, Bad Buddy all end up at the beach within the last 2 two episodes.

I love Valen and Kaitoon, but I **need** to know who's texting Peat and why. Now that the MC has sealed the deal, this is the only thing I can care about and I feel like I'm not gonna be satisfied with whatever they try to pull in the last episode.

Force and Book have been friends for about 15 years now, so explains the chemistry. Also, Force has said in interviews that he's very similar to Akk, so that could be why he's delivering the character so well.

I get not being able to at the beginning, but aside from hairstyle, skin complexion and a faintly similar face shape, they really don't look alike. lol
And LOL @ the house thing. Same thing happened to me.

I've seen it in other dramas before. Thai and Taiwanese. Many Indian people might be surprised to know just how enormously popular that movie is internationally.

I take it back. I don't want the harem storyline. I want Theo and Akk all day. Any time spent on the other guys' is theft in my eyes. The look of "ugh you guys again?" that Akk had when the elevator doors opened in ep. 3 sums up my feelings perfectly.

It's been a whole half decade since I saw this one, but I'd rate this one lower than History 3: MODC is because 1: MODC provided the anguish and awfulness that comes with losing a loved on screen in a realistic, yet yet anguishing way (aside from the hallucinations, of course) and 2: I was given the option to accept that the MODC couple did get to live happily ever after because I saw them at the end of Life: Senjou no Bokura/Love on the Line.

Just responded with a comment telling someone to end it around the 1:00:00 mark, then I saw your comment. haha My sentiments EXACTLY. I wish there was a way to pin your comment to the top of the comment section.

Don't listen to them. If you loved MODC until that ending, you'll find the same way (or arguably worse) at the end of this one.

If curiosity gets the better of you, I recommend watching until 1:00:00 marker of ep. 4. It really is a beautiful drama up until that point and tackles real life in a way only few popular dramas do today, but that ending is a b**ch

I'm praying Peat isn't having an affair. That would really put a damper on this whole thing for me because I legit like their couple.

-Non's a great guy. Educated, dedicated, well-spoken, and wise. Why is he in this show if his one and only purpose is for the audience to feel bad for him?? And he doesn't seem to have any hopes of getting someone else besides Kaitoon as there haven't been any other characters presented. This isn't a case of "nice guys finish last". This is: "perfect guys get totally rejected".

-Why are the lesbians (trans?) in the show all? Who are they connected to? I don't completely dislike their storyline, but just...why? Even if they're not not meant to be connected to the main characters, they could at least do something like have them be regulars at Love Area to bring them into the overall story somehow.

-Every time Valen uses his cute, unsubtle way of suggesting his feelings to Kaitoon, Kaitoon stares at him like he knows exactly what Valen is thinking only to prove time and time again that he's just a dope. I find this hilarious because Valen always gets this look on face like "I know I'm bad with words, but you're kinda dumb." 🤣

-Anyway, barring a few other little hiccups, I'm liking this show (mostly for ValenKaitoon). Excited for the last episode.

And about Thorn and Fah. From Thorn's side, he's already basically come to terms with the fact that he likes Fah and has admitted that to Saen, but I'm pretty sure that, at least for now, Thorn genuinely thinks that Fah isn't into him and is probably interested in some girl. Put that along with the fact that they've been in a senior-junior, big brother-little brother relationship for so long and Thorn's generally timid nature, I can see why hesitant to admit it.

Others have already responded about Fah, but I just want to add: I think Fah is only NOW as of Ep. 5 timestamp circa 41:00 fully realizing/accepting he likes Thorn. Before, it was just subconscious or just a passing thought from friends. So, how afraid he is or isn't of telling Thorn how he feels is yet to be seen.

Yeah, I guess I could see it from that perspective too. Either way, I'm excited to see how it's going to be handled next week.

I don’t think this will play out any worse than it has, but to ply Devil’s advocate for a minute: even if Vee was the one to put a stop to it, he was the one who initiated it in full knowledge Dome was dating his sister. Giving Dome advice about how what his sister likes and how to deal with her is one thing, but basically saying, “Hey, let me show how to flirt with my sister.” is something else. 😅 Obviously, Vee has already fallen for Dome and he takes responsibility for it, but still…
