Ikr ~Even Murong Jinghe's right-hand man, Qingyan, is the guy with TSJ ðŸ¤Been seeing this actor three times…
In the beginning, when Princess and her 100 beauties arrived, MRJH greeted them with paper money for the dead. His sidekick explained the Third Prince was in mourning. The Princess asked who died and the sidekick said a name. Who is so and so? She asked again. "His pet turtle" was the reply. She was indignant.
previews: ep 18, ouhh a kiss hihi. ep 19 will be good ahah crown prince face. a shame that it’s in 2 days😞😞
THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! The stakes are back up! First, the Clown Prince did the despicable seduction trope with Luo Mei. And then we have fate intervening and XiYanGreenTeaKING is back but so far helping our main leads to return into the city. LASTLY, the horse entry with Mei Lin hugging him in the back--Yeeha! That final moment of Clown Prince losing out again, bwahahaha. Let me go rewatch. Too funny.
Those interested in leaving thoughts/discussion for Episodes 5-9 (after they reentered town and we get the less maniacal MRJH), here is a link to the Other Topics board (above on this page):
based on the posters we got before the drama started, i personally thought that LM's actress does have a pretty…
I'm sorry to say that her face muscles have been rendered immovable. Someone told to watch the BTS and publicity clips of her and I get it now--she has only one expression. Y'all can draw your own conclusions :).
Political marriage doesn't neccessarily means love. So, the 15 year old consort Yan can stay married to her 50+…
Is she really supposed to be 15 here? Like a ShaoShang 15? LMAO And I don't hear those critiquers from the Double coming here to scream about more age-appropriate looking actresses?! LMAO
The drama has a good balance of romance and conspiracy, but it's lacking the thrilling , intriguing or engaging…
I think it's because it doesn't really, or hasn't yet, pay off as a revenge drama. It's still a palace drama at this point, with intermittent romance. However, the conspiracies are interesting enough to engage my interest. There is none of that Big Misunderstanding trope that I hate (Ok, not yet, anyway) where the leads could solve a problem by TALKING--these two do talk and they are interest each other as they discover their likes and dislikes.
A satisfying pure revenge drama takes down antagonists one by one, from minor to major, but so far, with just one villain, it's not quite there yet. Wait until Xiyan Prince comes into the mix and with the angst again, there might more conflict of the revenge kind.

I just like to have a spot to easily return to to reread any notes/discussions of interest. :)
