Slow-burning romance; refreshing

This drama is a MUST watch because its a slow-burn romance and its really refreshing to watch for a romance drama. It is nicely produced especially with the OST. Because this the second season of One and Only, I was scared to watch this because it was a sequel to a costume drama but in Modern day setting. I hate how usually they would go back in fourth between the two settings yet they didn't that for this drama. This was fully a Modern day drama, so it was done properly.

Story/Plot: I love the plot especially it taking off from the previous season and it being the two leads meeting each other based off of destiny. It gave off a nice romantic feel for how the two leads came together. Furthermore, I love the fact that their wasn't any misunderstandings or angsty moments. They even made ZhouSheng Chen's (ML) Ex, Tong Jiren whom is obviously is saddened by not being with ZhouSheng Chen and tries to get back with him [ without the petty tactics] into a comedic effect. They do the same thing with Shi Yi's (FL) co-worker whom has a crush on her, where ZhouSheng Chen gets jealous and Shi Yi finds it adorable. On the other hand, they could have done better with explaining why ZhouSheng Chen and Tong Jiren's relationship/ engagement ended. I love the way they showed off ZhouSheng Chen and Shi Yi's marriage as being healthy and loving.

Acting/Cast: This is my second Allen Ren drama while my third drama for Bai Lu. I'm more familiar with Bai Lu, I am used to her playing very tomboy character so it was nice seeing her in a more mature role. At first, I didn't even recognize her at first because of how pretty she is. She played the her role very well, she is very good no matter whom she is playing with. Allen also did a great job since I love his character. He plays nervous, shy and awkward characters well. I love the facial expressions he makes.

Ost: I love the songs, all of them fit the scenes and the emotion behind them.

In conclusions, this drama is a must watch since its really good. I would definitely re-watch this drama for the good acting, plot and of course Allen.

Realistic modern day love; frustrating

This was my first Korean drama in awhile since I stopped around 2018, so it was refreshing to have something to watch and it be a Korean drama. Since, I watch mostly Chinese, Thai and Japanese. Also, this drama is not for the weak hearted.

Storyline/Plot: I really enjoyed the plot line since it was a realistic take on how love is in modern times. I really was happy that we finally have a drama like this since I usually see Japanese drama's convey social issues within their drama's. So, I wasn't expecting this drama to talk about something that happens in real life. I was hesitant to watch it since the synopsis didn't really stand out to me with how they described the drama. However, I was glad that I gave this drama a chance seeing I can relate to it. On the other hand, I hated how boring it got from episode 8 and onward. Which I had to drop the drama because it go boring and Nabi (FL), she just started to think so dumb. And it just became to hard to watch to the point I had to force myself to watch episode 8 which I stopped watching mid way. Furthermore, I don't like forcing myself to watch things and skipping either. Another thing is they started giving Nam Kyu Hyun (Kim Min Gwi) less screen time for something so dumb and petty (he cheated on his girlfriend and she exposed him for it). It left me uninterested with his and Bit Na's relationship since we couldn't see much of his face. Ji wan and Sol's relationship was annoying and not progressing as they both couldn't come to terms with whatever feeling's they had. All in all, all the couples including the secondary couples were boring and poorly written. The first half of the drama (episode 1-7) was good in my opinion and then it gets bad from there.

Acting /Casting: I liked both Song Kang and Han So Hee giving this is the first time I am watching a drama with the both of them. And the fact that they played both of their character's well. Also, I could say the same thing for the secondary actors and actresses as well.

Music: I don't talk about music much but I love the ost because it has such a chill vibe to it seeing that this is a youthful drama and it being taken place in college. It was really nice along with the aesthetics as well.

In conclusion: I won't be re watching this drama because it something I don't typically see myself revisiting due to it being so frustrating and its not exciting. Where as I could go back in time 5-10 years from now and be like "Oh! Look!, I remember when this drama came out, let's re watch!." for some happy memories and/or funny parts.

Nostalgic

I know many people couldn't get access to watch this since GMMTV only put to stream for Disney+ in Thailand, but viewers internationally have a hard time being able to watch this and others think that this is a copy of the original 2gether the series with many of the similar scenes. However, the scenes are the same if you have watched the series, but they have cut it shorter for the sake of it being a movie and adding in new scenes as well. Also, in the beginning most of it is narrated by Tine since he is one of the main characters following Sarawat. This time we actually get to hear both Tine and Sarawat's thoughts when they both fell in love with each other unlike in the series where we only got their dialogue. Moreover, some of the passionate scenes that Tine and Sarawat had are more emotional if you are a longtime fan of the series and both Win and Bright. Overall, the movie is really good as it brings more of an emotional effect to it and nostalgia as well.

Creative; yet underrated

I was at first hesitant to watch this drama as I had just finished the 2021 drama ''Nevertheless'' and was left drained. So, I had gave this drama a try not really knowing what to expect.

Story/Plotline: At the first the prologue was very confusing as they were trying to explain the history of the demon (Ma Wang) {I guess, couldn't really remember as it was forgetful.} It was as if they were trying to pull a Eternal love of dream with the explanation of whom Ye Hua was., yet failed. Furthermore, it just felt like they were trying to do a deity Chinese drama but realized they didn't have the runtime for it. On the other hand, I actually like the overall story and it wasn't hard to understand. A lot of the "plot holes" that everyone is talking about maybe because they didn't fully pay attention. The plot wasn't complicated or anything nor required a great level of thinking. The drama was very bubbly with some fantasy and politics to expand the storyline. However, I wished things were fleshed out more with the relationships of the characters as to why they are helping Ha Ram (ML). Then, the ending left me thinking that we may get a second season, since it ended off as a cliffhanger.

Acting/Cast: This was the first time watching both of the main leads, they were both very good at portraying their characters. A lot of people complained about how terrible/ mediocre the characters were which I felt like okay but don't blame the actors. This was how the writers wrote the characters so they only could work with what they were offered. Nonetheless, I would enjoy seeing the other actors in other works.

Music: I really didn't care for the music since it didn't really grab my attention what so ever.

In conclusions, the drama wasn't bad it was really light hearted with some added politics and it was fairly short compared to what I am used to. I would actually re-watch this, especially if their is another season to it finally getting rid off the bad guy once and for all.

Two sisters, whom fall in love with different men.

If you like two main female leads whom are related and tells the story of not one, but two female leads than this is definitely for you.

Story/plot: The plot was okay, their was things that could've been better, for example the ending. The ending did not make any sense what's so ever. It was even dragged out when Fu Jin Zhan (FL) went to go find Jing shao (ML) because she was bored being the empress. Also, it took long for the Fu Yu Zhan (FL) to finally marry Xue Rong (ML).

Acting/cast: This is my second drama with Aariflee as the main lead, since I had seen him in empress in china and his acting is good. So, I decided to give this drama a try. I liked that they couples were paired nicely due to their personalities. Yu Zhan and Xue Rong was both witty, so that made them a good couple. While, Jin Zhan and Jing Shao were both playful/childlike and were good at martial arts. Which is why both couples were intrigued by their partners. Furthermore, their wasn't any power imbalances or anything. Both women were strong female leads and were not weak. However, the only issue I had with Jin Zhan was she came off as annoying sometimes and Yu Zhan would constantly hide her feeling for Xue Rong numerus times.

In conclusion: this was a good drama and the first were it had two main female leads. It was very good but the ending is a complete let down for 40 episodes. However, it was good in the beginning half at the least. Would I re-watch??? Yes!

For starters, I would like to address the issue that most other reviewers/audience had with this drama. Which was the violence, sexual attraction, and the characters decisions. Because this is a Thai drama their is a lot of things that are not normal in other countries, but is normal in Thai. I noticed by watching other Lakorns that talking/joking about rape is normal in Thai. Also, Pinning a girl on the bed in anger is also normal in Lakorn which doesn't bother me much because it is a drama as it is not done in real life situations. Of course, violence should not be tolerated, but that is something that is done all over the world. As for the characters decisions, I didn't have a problem with them being together because they all had their fair share of being annoying at times. Nobody in this drama was innocent as they all had their fair share of baggage.

Prinkkang- She was too sarcastic at times for the situation at hand and she had an attitude when things didn't go her way. Then, I hated when she had left sibtit waiting so long after he had apologized over and over again for all that he did. She even had the audacity to show up at his graduation knowing that both of them are having issues.

Sibtit- Yes, he was an asshole, but I think he didn't deserve to be shot at because he was a playboy as he finally realized who he wanted to be with. Then, I don't think he needed to be ignored throughout the drama because of his action as he did apologized to Prinkkang again and wanted another chance. Also, everyone who hated his character needed to know that he just made a mistake and in the end he did learn from it.

Key- I have a love-hate relationship with his character as well. Like I mentioned, not even his character is all that innocent as you may think. He was nice to Prinkkang and her friend which I had enjoyed. Then, also comforting her when she was hurt because of sibtit's actions and made her happy in the end. However, I didn't like how he would brag to sibtit when ever she showed affection to him and not sibtit behind her back. Moreover, the way he acted towards sibtit on his birthday in front of his friend Hawk was uncalled for. Which led to him being punched by sibtit which he made it seem like it was sibtit's fault when he caused it.

Pitta- I'm not going to talk much about her as she is suppose to be the unlikable character. On other the hand, She knew what she was getting herself into when being sibtit's little toy and she had agreed to it willingly. Also, she should've just left him after he basically embarrassed her in front of his parents, but she came back like an idiot. Then, she kept on clinging onto him even though, he practically didn't want anything to do with her. I also think it wasn't her place to punish sibtit for what he did to her as he flat out told her that he didn't want to be serious with her. However, she got what she deserved in the end which was probably going to jail.

I would watch this again, but this drama was too draggy for me. As the last couple of ep. was just prinkkang ignoring sibtit and nothing special.

Overall: 7.5

I have watched most of all the adaptations for this drama and here are reasons...I did not like it at all what so ever.

1. I don't like it how the main female was portrayed she wasn't even that dumb or stupid like she was suppose to be at all. Plus, she wasn't even that obsessed with him at all either.

2. Kim Hyun Joong's acting was terrible. he didn't suit playing noaki at all because he wasn't even a little bit that cold to her compared to the other verisons. I don't know if it was because I was to in love with the japanese anime at the time, but he didn't do it justice at all.

3. The girl who was playing Hae Ra was suppose to play either Sahoko or Naoki's fiance, but they for some reason decided it was a great idea to combine both the character and make her play both. Instead of getting another actress to play the other character like the rest of the versions which was to me lazy.

4.The story was too rushed all the scenes was all over the place and it was hard for me to keep up. When some of the scenes didn't happen in their correct order like in the anime,so it left me confused. Also, their was some unnecessary scenes like when Hani got mad at baek seungjoo and left the house, but later admitted her fault and came back home. Waste of time

5.It didn't stay true to the original or at least try. Their was also not enough comedy in it, it was like watching a sad documentary in school where just are not supposes to laugh or get you entertained.

Worth the wait

Storyline/Plot: The first think that I liked about the story was that it was fast paced and easily to follow. Then, the overall Mafia theme, which was nice and dark for a BL series, since we do tend to get a lot of Campus type of BL's. I also enjoyed the adult content of the show it wasn't unnecessary many of the "adult" scenes were beautifully shot and served a purpose. Similarly, it was nice to see a BL that had adult content since most BL's are tamed and feel more like Bro romance. Furthermore, it wasn't predictable as most BL series are, yet they even changed the way things happened from the novel to spice it up a bit and get people anticipating for the next episode. The only minor thing about the plot was that there was only one plot hole in which never got resolved, which never really messed up the plot, but I would have liked the character's reaction to the conflict being resolved.

Acting/cast: I felt like most of the cast did an amazing job and was amazingly casted. I could not imagine other actors playing any other roles unlike the cast that we got. I'd like to thank Miles for playing Kinn because he really brought out Kinns horny and slutty moments perfectly. While Apo was able to portray Porsche's unpredictable nature swiftly without no issues and it was believable.

Music: This was the first drama that I've watch were I liked all of the Ost's because it fit the show and it expressed character's relationships and how certain character's felt. It was a nice touch on letting Jeff have his own Ost since he is a famous musician/signer himself. Furthermore, I liked the main song in the show, Free fall, since they had two versions one from Porsche's Pov and another from Kinn's Pov.

In conclusions, this show isn't a masterpiece but it's a great show nonetheless and after this I will have high expectations when it comes to other BL series. I would also rewatch this show because it was really good, and I do hope that in the near future we do get a season two.

Toxic and unwatchable

If you don't like toxic relationships being displayed this of obviously not for you.

Storyline/Plot: I couldn't watch full past episode one because I could feel something toxic was going to happen. Especially, since the synopsis and the tags displayed it. And I knew that it wasn't going to blossom into a healthy relationship that is fluffy and cute.

Cast/Actor: I watched this for the male lead since he looked cute and interesting in the photo. The actors was good but I felt like the story took away from the actors.

In conclusions: I would not recommend this because of the toxic relationship and a lot of the complaints coming from this drama. I know a lot of dramas do display toxic things and glamorize it as cute and romantic. But, I didn't want to see the ML treat the FL bad and it being a complete turn off.

Uninteresting

I couldn't watch this drama because of the quality of it and it just seemed so uninteresting. I had dropped it after watching an episode in a half. I had read the synapsis and thought it would be an interesting drama but I was mistaken. Maybe, I'll try again but for now it was just hard to watch. I'm a big fan of the female lead since she was in eternal love and you're my destiny. So, I thought it would be good since this would be my first drama without her and Zhaolin as cast members. For this to be released in 2020, the production was bad.
