I watched Love in the Moonlight, I liked it despite how unreal it was. But didn't he leave his position as Crown Prince and essentially run away, same in the Tale of Nokdu. That was the only way that were able to get a HEA.

All his dramas have really high ratings. I just finished The Red Sleeve and I really liked it.

I have yet to see a historical drama where the ML is a King or Crown Prince, that has a happy ending. Honestly I go into these knowing there will be a sad ending. But this one, it gave me hope for a few minutes at the very end that maybe it will be a somewhat happy ending.
I wasn't that sad when the FL died, she seemed that she want to die after her son did in episode 16. And despite loving the King, it didn't seem like she was in love with the King or as crazy for him as he was for her. It was more like she gave up looking for more after watching the Crown prince's grandmother's funeral. She gave up on having a happy future, free to be herself from a very young age and at her death she seemed free and also very regretful of her choice to be with the ML. The ending reminded me a lot of Scarlet Heart, though I think Scarlet Heart had a much happier ending.

I was annoyed at him when he was annoyed at her and kicked her out of the palace for not being with him. She had good reason to not want to be with him, he should know from his own family history with his gandmother why no one would want to be romantically involved with a King. But he held his grudge for years and only forgave her after his mother talked him into forgiving her. Not that she did anything wrong.

They officially get together at episode 17. They had amzingg chemistry from the very begining and seem to have something going on from the start.
Yes it is really good, my favourite Chinese historical drama as of now.

It is because it is inolied in this Kdrama that the US will provide better opportunities for the characters, that i say this. This drama makes out out that she can't make anything of herself in Korea. By going to the US, at least in this drama, it suggests that she definitely makes it.

I say "make something of herself" because her family, her biological family is obsessed with this. Her dad didn't want her brother to be with the ML's sister at first because he is essentially leeching off of her. Her biological mum left her to go abroad and make something of herself. The SFL, the mum and the ML's teacher friend are all successful, whilst she's just going round and round thinking of leaving her job and being forced to stay, on and on and on.

Right now the FL is just a nanny, she doesn't have experience doing anything else, at least what we've seen so far. I kind of want to see her make something of herself instead of just being with the ML. Going to the US will mean that she gets to be with her mum for a while, who will help her make something of herself.
On the show, the ML right now is just putting her on hold, expecting her to always be there whilst he deals with his romantic issues that she doesn't deserve to go through.

I really want the FL, no matter what, to go to the US for a bit and for there to be a small time jump of sorts

My FAVOURITE movie so far. I don't think anything can top this. It was perfect in every way.

This was my first Kdrama. And I LOVED IT. It got me into Kdramas and Cdramas and Tdramas. Despite the horrible ending, it was definitely worth the watch.

I loved eveyone and everything about this drama. The casting, the acting and ALL the characters. There was nothing to hate which I LOVED.

I don't get why this drama gets so much hate. It is one of my favourite Kdramas and I've rewatched it so many times.

Finally, a really good Republican era drama with an actual HEA.

I HATED this drama so much. I couldn't stand either of the leads. The ML was just a douche in general and I HATED the FL for liking him. I prefer the Taiwanese movie better because the ML was so much more likeable and decent.

My favourite thing about this drama was how badass the FL and was how everyone loved her. Heck, even the girls had crushes on her, understandably so, and I LOVED it. She was also the only reason I was able to complete this drama because the ML started to get on my nerves for being so SLOW.

I loved Tae Seo story a lot more than all the other storylines and was really disappointed that it ended the way it did. Because if any character, in any historical drama I've watched deserved a HEA more, it's him. He didn't even need a redemption arc because he was never went far enough to need one. And I kinda shipped him with the fortune teller best friend of the FL. They had good chemistry in all their scenes together and I thought it would go somewhere. He deserved so much better and as satisfied as I was with his father's ending, Tae Seo didn't need to go through that just for his fathers punishment.
I kept hoping that Tae Seo will come back, that he faked it like the inspector did, but he did not. And why did they make it so anticlimactic, the best character got the worst and least dramatic end.

At this point, Sa Ra is just delusional. I think she actually believes in her own lies, that Young Guk liked her when he had no memories. The uncle is way too god for her and I don't ship them.
