I don't think it was necessarily pity that sent him back to her. He was desperately missing her, found the letters, learned of her whereabouts, and realized he'd been terribly wrong and judgmental. And her friend he spoke with probably told him he was being an asshole, lol.

And her father seems to be all in, too, which I like! Maybe he will get her to admit what she's feeling. I also wish she would stop talking about his "girlfriend." Like, doesn't she hear him say, "What girlfriend?" every time she says that craziness?

She did refuse to apologize to the hotel heiress/ex's new girlfriend when her boss asked her to. And when she met her in the garage to apologize it was to protect her stupd-ass friends because of the pending lawsuit. She's also speaking up more in meetings. I think she's slowly but surely coming along.

It's really good and quite funny. I have needed it every morning to wash away the angst and sadness sometimes created by The First Jasmine and Never-Ending Summer.
