That's crazy. I love, love, love Ryan Gold, but can't even see him here. This guy is soooo petty and really barking up the wrong tree if he thinks she's ever going to be with him again.
I'm fine with the ending. Could it have been better? Yes. But I smiled throughout most of the episode and am in love with Byeon Woo Seok. It was a fun ride.
She just arrived from Joseon time and has no idea what a card is...
I agree. She didn't even know that it's called a credit card and was confused when he asked for it and then was, like, you mean this "magic" thing and how can I get one of those? lol
I really admire FL. She is such a great actress. She doesn’t seem to care if she don’t look pretty doing certain…
This is my first series with her and she really is most excellent. Although I am sure it will change, it has been fun seeing her in those wacky outfits. I liked that skirt with the "generous waistband" and the red outfit was a definite change, but she does go around looking a little bit like a homeless person sometimes. And it's so much fun watching her discover the modern world and develop feelings with the ML. And then there are also the kooky things she says, which are hilarious. And is anyone going to teach her the word for car? Although part of me hopes she continues with the name she's been using.
We posted almost at same time. I thought the same about IAN aboloshing plan.
I hope he doesn't do it now that they're getting all of the evil doers out of the way, especially since he initially wanted to be king years ago. And while Hui Ju will support whatever decision he makes, don't you think she'd get a kick out of being queen? Especially if he abolishes the royals cannot work outside of the palace rule.
Part of me wonders if Ian told the PM he wants to abdicate just to get him to show his true colors, now that he's finally gotten a clue from his wife and the dowager that this man is probably not what he seems. I don't get why he considered them to be friends in the first place--there wasn't a drop of warmth between them.
Either way, I really hope we get to the bottom of what turned this worm. I think in the beginning it was his undeclared love for Hui Ju that has devolved into pure hatred for the prince. Hui Ju entered into a bullshit marriage and ended up truly loving the elegant and regal prince, and is now her husband's fiercest defender, which I think has filled the PM with so much jealousy that he let go of any pretense of being a man of faith (ergo the rosary beads left at his father's tomb) or any moral fortitude. Ian has the option to be in power for life, unlike the PM who gets two terms, yet the prince wants to piss it all away to live a joyous, free and fulfilled life with Hui Ju. He has everything, while Ian has it all and he's made as fuck and not taking it anymore.
We'll see. Read somewhere that the episode is 80 minutes.

Oh, no, no, no, no, no!!! I wasn't directing that comment toward you. I apologize for being unclear. Should have said "vent one's boredom." And literally all they have to say is how bored they are and are dropping, which often doesn't seem to happen, lol.
Check out My Royal Nemesis. It's really, really, really good!
Yes, I love them and their insanity. I am going to rewatch the episodes with a friend so she can catch up and plan to take notes of some the funny and bizarre expressions the FL says.

I'm not saying everyone must be as eloquent as the poster I mentioned, but don't piss on our parade to vent your boredom rather than add something constructive to the conversation. It's so tiresome.
really makes you wonder though, why does the palace have such bad fire security lmao? not a single sprinkler going…
The crown prince wasn't unconscious before the fire started. He was walking and passed out after seeing his wife through the glass doors and motioning to her to not enter the room he was in. Did we see his brother's fire situation?

There's constructive criticism, which is always welcome. Someone yesterday did a critique of what's good and what's bad and it was an interesting read and also quite humorous.
And then there's just plain old bitching, which is just rude and not constructive and should be kept to oneself because nobody cares. It's like a personal problem and a bit of a downer.
This arc doesn't make sense - Queen mother 's sudden change of heart. She let her husband 's last wish burn in…
The little boy's visit to her last week made her finally remember she's a mother and made her aware of how bloody miserable the poor child is. And that he'd overheard the vile conversation between her and his late father.

Bye!
