I don't think she had any ulterior motives. She's a rich girl who just wants what she wants. She saw him, liked what she saw, and went after him.

Interestingly in the express scene today, she kind of cut him off at a meeting, so I think things are about to get tricky with him and his subordinate to her role. His male ego is about to get hurt.

But you cannot expect to inhibit free speech in a lively comments section because your country is two episodes behind and come here expecting to find a solid block of blue. I feel for you, but that's, like, a personal problem.

The most anyone can maybe expect is that people will spoiler tag the express episode.

Someone the other day over at one drama page where we'd been talking about the drama for more than a month was also complaining about spoilers. It's not our fault she was just getting to the party.

I read in the comments that she struggled financially and was in the situation she put her daughter in with loan sharks--but worse!

If he really cared about his only grandson, he'd send them off together because he does realize this is the only person who has brought joy to his grandson's life since his mum died. Or, he'd just let them be because it's not like she was living a hazardous life--that streaky haired lunatic was targeting her and he's gone to prison now for stabbing ML. The only threat is behind bars. And she obviously is good for him because they were both preparing themselves for entry to university.

But, then we wouldn't have a drama series, right? LOL

You are exactly right. The grandfather even knows that Zhou Wan has been Lu Lixiao's only source of joy and peace since losing his mother and he just does not care. And the visits he and the aunt made were literally just drive-bys. I think the aunt cares but she cares more about fighting her brother for power of the company.

I also hate the spineless half-brother for letting that criminal lunatic know ZW was back in town. What a spineless bastard.

Although tears have sprung into my eyes but never fallen during some dramas, the only one they've ever fallen down my face for was Remembrance of Things Past.

After reading comments here yesterday about so many tears shed before I finally took the plunge to watch 29-32, I was afraid. Perhaps I'm a bit of a hard hearted Hannah, lol, though I was very moved during these episodes. I especially love the ML's portrayal.

I think there were no signs of a massacre and also the academy was heavily guarded so if something like that had occurred their screams would have been heard. Thus, an epidemic is a likely conclusion.

Yes. I felt like I had a cold coming on and I got tested, because that's what we did at the time during an epidemic. I tested positive, though with extremely mild symptoms while millions of others died from it.

Plus, it already happened. If I've not watched an episode or a series, I come to these pages EXPECTING to be spoiled. Especially on a relatively active page like this one.
