As I recall, it was a drama that hadn't aired yet and is a Republican drama. Can't for the life of me remember what it was and I sort of think it was WXY. The clip was posted during filming? Oh well. Maybe when it airs we'll see.

I don't cry over these dramas but that dancing scene broke my heart. I think I will need the whole day to recover!

I think I watched this like 500 times yesterday. Didn't the same thing happen to either Zhang Linghe or Wang Xing Yue earlier this year? I can't find the clip now.

At any rate, her co-star had me in actual tears today with that dance!!!

Our guy's accent was perfect since he actually grew up here in the U.S. They should have had him sing all of the English soundtracks because we can actually understand perfectly what he's saying without subtitles.

Love your post because I don't cry either but this episode with the dancing made me cry. I did not cry for The Summer I Turned Pretty even though my heart broke for Conrad. And I'm also about to start The Heirs! And I'm afraid to watch Twelve Letters!

With the crazy hours I've been keeping watching my Asian dramas here in the US, I might not even be jet lagged when I arrive in Paris! LOL

But yeah, I think I'm screwed. Hopefully it will be a drought week!

It's really so frustrating. I really think it's all about control with regard to the father. He wants ML's 10% stock options and the grandpa wants ML to take over the company when the time is right. I hate them both and hope that after ML goes abroad he cuts off everyone in that evil family. I think the aunt was more on his side: seemingly gave him access to his credit card and also didn't try to end the adventure he and FL were on. He also chose to give/sell his stock options to her. Still, she wasn't a ride or die.

I am still rather new to these dramas--have been watching steadily and crazily for about 1 1/2 years; before that watched just a couple of Kdramas during covid. Now I am obsessed. Going to Paris for a week in August and wondering if the withdrawal will be too much!!! :) Or will I find a way to watch when my friends aren't looking? LOL

This was from today's express episode, some of which was very harrowing. The character was not nearly as upset in the scene as the actress was after the director said cut, so I guess she was just holding it in. This was the definition of "ugly cry" and my heart just broke for the actress and melted for him. DZ is so gentle and sweet.

@Tachna shared this below and I cannot stop watching. The FL actress couldn't stop crying after filming and cutting away from this highly emotional scene and Daniel Zhou sweetly comforts her. It's rather amazing!

I think she liked him because he was uber successful and rich and then when he had to downsize and sold his apartment, her interest waned. Plus, when she talked about the future, he was, like, there's plenty of time to talk about that. Also, she did not intellectually stimulate or intrigue him like QF does. All she cared about was fancy handbags and dinners.

And also only after he tried to get ML's father to invest and heard the very same feedback he'd gotten from ML. He's a loser. How can you not produce anything in three years?

Now, why do you have to call me stupid? That's so rude. I think it's stupid to come here and not expect to see spoilers, but instead of saying that I tried to be more diplomatic than that. And also warned that if you read further, you will really be spoiled over much more than a reaction to a hug.

I think she may be above board. Not so sure about the father because of all the stuff the leads found out during their little trip. The daughter seemed surprised.
