I think the grandfather is sending the evil man to the US because he knows he's got it out for his beloved grandson and also probably suspects he has no morals, wants the CEO position way too much and will do anything to get it. I do wonder why the little boy is over here in the U.S, though, and where his mother is. I also wonder if Grandpapa also knows about our dear couple and that's why he was asking the restaurant lady about Seori.

I suspect that the original Seori is done for. What would be the point of bringing her back? He wouldn't like her anyway because from what I can tell she's very soft and lacking in confidence. He loves Dansim's version of her because she's completely nuts and assertive and brave and fun. This love story we're watching unfold is a second chance for the prince and Dansim.
