Why does she need to have modesty? She didnt reveal it, he overheard it.
Right?
Also, she is bringing joy to the palace. The staff at his residence were so happy and thrilled to see her. They loved playing with her and the little boy.
Saw a lot of comment about:- being bored. I’m not. - Tan Jr behaviour called toxic. Don’t agree. He helped…
He leaves tomorrow in the second episode, but it looks like he'll be back for that kiss. I, too, am dreading one episode a day. When is that happening? Looking forward to the express!

Ha! I've also been thinking that Tan jr. is probably like the ex-husband was before he became a scumbag. And I totally get what you're saying, but I still believe he shouldn't have let it get so bad that he had to carry her through the lobby. He is very kind but didn't think it through because that was a very bad look for Miyu.
Having said that, Ji Feng definitely went too far and let his jealousy get the best of him. It seems like he's also concerned that it has fueled he lobby girls' mutinous behavior and he so desperately wants her to succeed. And for them to succeed together. Ji Feng the man is raging with jealousy and Ji Feng the manager is pissed that she put herself in that position.
I think that ML will suggest to Tan jr. that he perhaps took advantage of the situation and her vulnerability and should have followed my advice to at least sober her up before returning to the hotel (lol) because he apologizes to Miyu for getting her in trouble. I also wonder if Ji Feng will make it clear that he has romantic feelings for her and whether Tan jr. will realize that ML is who she was talking about in her lovely painting analogy. At any rate, thank goodness he is leaving and hopefully by the time he returns our leads will be a couple.
I think his family has invested in the hotel and he hopes to become chairman if they end up buying it, which for now is an option because it has been failing thanks to all of the corrupt actors in leadership roles. The chairwoman is hoping that Ji Feng will turn things around in a year so that in the end she won't have to sell.
The problem with Duan is that he's a spoiled, entitled brat who is trying to compete with Ji Feng but doesn't have the skills to do so successfully and resorts to petty stunts and colluding with the enemies who also don't want to see JF win. Loved how when he told JF he didn't expect him to be GM, JF's response was "Surprise!"in English.
I also love how Miyu is fast becoming his secret weapon who can be counted on to be smart and innovative and get shit done!

I am not bored, either. Today's episodes were a bit slower paced but important things happened.
I disagree about Tan Jr. Yes, she got drunk on her own but he was indulging her self-destructive behavior, which Ji Feng would not have done. He also should have helped her sober up before going back to the hotel. She needs a man who will challenge her and encourage her to be her best self.
You're also right that in real life people don't change overnight. She is getting there though.
The influencer girl is definitely trying to use her history with Ji Feng to win him back and he is only interested in how she's helping the business. I also didn't like that he lied to Miyu about their history but I think it was a combination of feeling taken aback by her questioning their relationship and not wanting her to "overthink" it as they like to say in these dramas.
This episode was so damn good! Two non-couple things. that I loved was the little boy going to visit Hui Ju in her hospital room and taking her hand and the scene from the preview for tomorrow's episode of the staff at the prince's residence so thrilled to have her back. I think that even the stern lady who initially hoped to break Hui Ju's spirit is now on her side.
When Hui Ju went to visit the prince in his hospital room he was so very sweet with his worry about her injuries. Her family, though, didn't give two fucks about whether she'd been hurt. They really suck.
Swooned, of course, when he joined her side during the walk with the women. That queen mother is in for a world of hurt because our girl is extremely smart and will likely outwit her every time.
He is very nice but the opposite of what she needs.Ji Feng is challenging her to be her best self, which is what she both wants and needs. Tan jr. indulges her weaknesses and it was so wrong for him to just sit by while she drowned her sorrows in wine.
I think Miyu should just enjoy life as a free single woman. I do like Daniel and I think he’d be a great partner.…
There are no sparks between her and Daniel and she is clearly attracted to Ji Feng. Plus Daniel would stunt all of the growth she's experienced and loves experiencing, while JF is encouraging her to be her very best self.
JF is just being polite with the influencer because they're old friends and she's very good for business, which aside from winning Miyu is his number one priority. He has not encouraged her in any way and she clearly sees that he has feelings for Miyu. She will try to win him over but will soon learn it's a complete waste of time.
I also don't get the comments about needing an extended single life and five years is crazy. If she and Ji Feng find they are truly compatible together and are having a blast running this hotel, why should she wait? Finding a wonderful new love is a blessing! And she's a woman who wants companionship.
Also, she is not infertile. If the medical issue that has prevented a pregnancy can be fixed and she really wants a child, why wait for love because of the first mistake?
I was about to write a rant but after reading your comment I calm down and decided against it😂
Glad you feel better. :) I just hope we get 8-10 episodes of Miyu and Ji Feng exploring their love and killing it at that hotel.
Would also love it if the asshats who are so mean to her soon learn that the old madam is firmly in Miyu's corner. Wonder if that's what turns Miyu's boss around because he's defending her in the trailer.
i WANT TO SHIP HER WITH NO ONE. i WANT HER TO GET A SPINE - power punch her way through life or just pass out…
She has already chosen herself, which is why she turned down Mr. Ji initial attempt to woo her even though she really likes him. Remember that little talk she gave herself about that when she was walking back to her quarters? Her confidence is growing now and she's feeling a bit more ready to explore her feelings for him, but influencer girl is making things a little complicated and confusing.
After the super bad day she had today she's done being a people pleaser and told Ji Feng that. She's also suing her ex-husband and standing up to him and his vixen and not backing down on the report she's demanded from rude lobby girl.
she isn't built for any job where she works with other employees. she has a backbone but it's fragile.
You are right about her working well with people who do their jobs and Ji Feng is putting a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. Our leading lady had a really, really bad day.
The chat with Tan will likely open his eyes in more ways than one and I also think he's going to give him some shade about letting her get so drunk. Wondering if Tan will realize that Ji Feng was the person she was talking about at dinner and that JF likes her, too.

This series is soooooooooooo good!
