I think this is also the reason Netflix's choice of cdrama's are lately pretty disappointing to me.

When the story features the lives of normal people and not palace intrigues, that's when the series was the best. So far for me, peak Tang for me, was the story featuring the old women coroner and her son, was that in season 2? It really hit emotionally.

I find it strange that such a good and popular series in china have so few comments here.

The best cdramas that I've watched(not that many), usually the romance plot is minimal, like Joy of Life and Strange tales of Tang dynasty. Will put this in the reminder.

I'm a bit curious at all the negative review of her acting here. I don't understand Korean so that might be the issue.So far to me she is portraying the kind of emotionless, icy and calculating cold blooded character competently in my opinion.

Somebody has beef with the main actors? Why 7.5 and so low. I've seen first two episodes and its quite enjoyable so far.

Why are recent period cdramas on netflix all the fantasy genre type? The last cdrama i really enjoyed was perfect match. Have realistic period dramas lost popularity in china?

What a cop out. At least use the Korean deity trope who has pity on him and transports him to the future. It would have been fun to see at least how this pampered man survives in the modern world. 1-2 episodes could do that.

You mean it's not explained how he ended in the future? That's very cdramaish. If that is the case, I won't finish it because I really don't like these type of endings.

Its like any time slip cdrama, the ML will die saving the FL. FL will return back to the future and unite with the ML in the last 30 seconds of the last episode without any further explanation.
