It could also be argued that for most of the series, Doek-im was suppose to be in her teens. So based solely on age factor, a younger actress under the age of 20 could actually be more suitable. The FL did mention that she tried to put on weight and be a bit more chubby to look younger.

Ha ha. You put in emojis succinctly what I always think about Western show and the usual "first date next bed" scenes. That scene in RS prefers to let your imagination do its work, just like in novels.

So methinks King Jeongo will appear at end of episode 12. That. leaves 13 and14 for Jeongjo to pursue Deok Im(happy times are here again!). After that, better prepare the Kleenex. Me, I think I will likely abandon ship at episode 15 :-)

Good episode and great acting from the cast. My only qualm is there is very little time left for King Jeongjo and they will rush to the ending. This should be 20 episode.

I haven't watch this episode yet but based on the released ratings of almost 13%, I guess the Koreans really like heavy politics in their period drama.

Anyone on internet did any calculations on which episode Lady Jo will end up in the slammer? For me the happy climax will be the bedroom scene , after that, I guess babies and downhill for Doek Im. So not many good episodes left. Lady Jo arc is just a bit over the top and taking up too much screen time.

I think it's a given that they are going to show her death. To me the unknown is whether the Queen is a bad guy. Her character is pretty grey in Red Sleeve but she was the bad head honcho in Yi San. There's speculation that Jeongjo was murdered by the Queen Dowager in real life. I read somewhere that he last words uttered by Jeongjo was the Q.Dowager's palace name.

Probably just the bed scene between Lady Seo and Deok Im.
