Out of curiosity, can you list those 10+. Please.
I have two questions for you.

1) "Key To The Phoenix Heart" is Ai Mi's third time as Female Lead in a drama or movie.

Her first female lead role was in the movie "Break Through", which aired in cinemas in China in November 2024. Her second female lead role is a drama helmed by the critically-acclaimed Director Cao Dun.

The Directors whom Ai Mi finished filming with by May 2025, before auditioning for KTTPH and scoring the highest of all actresses who auditioned for this role:

# Chen Zhoufei and Qian Jingwu - Supporting role she excelled in, in a no romance xuanxia drama being only C-drama to be nominated for CPOPwave 2026 this far.
# Mao Kunyu - Crime suspense psychological thriller (supporting role as younger version of FL, filmed in 2024 and aired in August 2025)
# Cao Dun - Female Lead in crime suspense thriller "Above The Wall" (filmed in 2024, not yet aired)
# Stephen Chow - "Kung Fu Soccer" is airing right now. When the date of "Kungfu Soccer" was announced officially as 11 July, KTTPH was abruptly moved up to match it. Earnings for KFS have passed 500 million RMB within one day, fourteen hours and fifty minutes from the opening of the box office. 600 million RMB was grossed at 7.26 pm today. The box office total forecast for "Kung Fu Soccer" is now at 2.505 billion RMB. Ai Mi has a supporting role in that sports-comedy movie, and is now promoting the movie with the rest of the cast such as Zhang Xiaofei and Dilraba Dilmurat.

Huang Yang Tian Tian was the original female lead, until issues happened. HYTT is hardly older than Ai Mi and has a fresh-faced teenager look as well, as per sixteen-year-old Xie Jiayu being a very young maiden who has not seen the world.

Comedy is very difficult to pull off. Non-idol project accomplishments are usually valued over idol drama accomplishments. Ai Mi is being praised for her role as Xie Jiayu on C-Ent social media.

[ Amyβ€”that is her name, isn't it? Her portrayal of Xie Jiayu in *Que Gu* stands out as the most brilliant acting performance in this year's costume dramas. She seamlessly navigates three distinct layers of the character: the pure, spirited nature of a young noblewoman; the quick-witted, cunning mind of a brilliant strategist; and the resilient, proud spirit maintained amidst treacherous power struggles.

Her eyes convey immense depth and intensity; she perfectly captures the resolute defiance of a new bride, the restrained endurance in the face of desperation, and the heart-wrenching vulnerability of her tearful scenes. Breaking completely free from the stereotypical "sweet girl" tropes often found in this genre, she anchors a rich and fully realized character arc. Despite her youth, she possesses extraordinary emotional resonance; her acting is both relaxed and explosive, delivering a textbook-perfect performance. ]

Question: Where do you disagree with such assessments, and why?

2) I noticed Xiang83 posted a reply to you above about a chemistry screen read, saying you don't know what that is. Chemistry screen reads are common in the industry, to evaluate how artists gel.Xiang83 says laypeople tend to get this wrong due to ignorance. For example. Luo Yunxi has chemistry with every cast member of WoF. This means he is able to command the tension, lightness and complexity of rapport with different people.

Question: When you evaluate chemistry between two artists, how do you evaluate chemistry?

Nearly there. I've never wanted a drama to hit the target as much as I do for KTTPH. πŸ™
Oh, ok. Still a bit to go. Still πŸ™

Person Zhao Jin Mai
25 episodes is too short for historical drama.
Hopefully, it's not true. It's been a long time since we've seen Jinmai in costume, so I don't want it to be brief.

RJL and Bai Lu's "One and Only" was only 24eps and HMH's currently airing CD is only 28eps. It happens.

Omg..wasn't the female lead used to play a child / teenager character in a few dramas not long ago? How old was…
She's playing a teenage character in this drama. And doing a damn fine job of it.

You don't need to imagine. The way they look at each tells you how deep their connection goes. Take what the drama gives you. Don't add anymore. You'll love it.

how good or bad is the arranged marriage trope? is it good ?? i got fooled many times with this ffs give me a…
I'd say it works better in KTTPH than most other dramas. I'll be honest, her age makes it work better. All the things a FL does to annoy you are actually quite understandable in this scenario. She is extremely smart, but also inexperienced, at times naive about the world, and vulnerable.

Also, this drama moves at a fast pace. It doesn't linger.

PERFECT. πŸ‘Œ The eyes say it all between Xiao Wuyi and Xie Jiayu. You can feel it in your soul πŸ’ž. The eyes say it all with Li Mao, too πŸ‘Ή. Absolutely loved today's episodes. And the next episodes look incredible. If I had a stronger will, I'd hold off until all episodes drop to save myself from the torture of waiting. But I don't ☺️.

In the reuters she can be seen doing a sword play and in other battles. I have a feeling Xiao Wuyi will teach…
Me too. It's been so good. The pacing, the action, and the purity and beauty of their connection.

Everyone is okay with the 10 year age gap and romance with a minor thing? Or does it make it alright because its…
Tiresome. The dynamic / contrast between the leads is one of the aspects that makes this drama so special and refreshing. Remove it, and you are removing its heart and soul. Go elsewhere if you want steamy scenes and seduction. The love portrayed here will be about the deepest of connections, souls intertwined, and hearts beating as one.

If you want to ruin it by casting an older FL. How about this, just cut the FL role altogether and make it a male-centric drama. Just HMH, his horse, and his sword. Your favourite steamy kiss twenty-something or thirty-something actress can go practice her kisses on a pumpkin πŸŽƒ.

BRB... Just going to find a "Beauty and the Beast" forum and tell fans of the story that it promotes beastiality. And, I might stop in to tell "Snow White" fans that it promotes taking advantage of unconscious women.

They were sharing sweet moment, but he's still very defensive of his heart, and he got mad at her. One step forward, two steps back. But, it just works with these two. I'm not mad at all.
