l didn't like it, I watch these dramas for the romance, and the couple barely showed affection for each other…
Ngl, this comment made me hesitate to watch this. I also watch these dramas mainly for the romance, so hearing that there was very little affection between the leads made me think I probably wouldn't enjoy it. What can I say, I'm a romantic at heart 😭🤷♀️
Happy Ending, definitely. Just that it is a last minute happy ending, as you'd expect for most xianxia dramas.Only…
Oh my gosh, your comment about what others say that this FL isn't beautiful enough sounds so dumb and unnecessary. If anything, she suits her role perfectly; she has a certain air of seriousness about her. I've watched 'Falling Into Your Smile,' and I don't think it was for me. Don't get me wrong, the chemistry is there, but I don't particularly like video games--not to mention dramas centered on that topic. 🤷♀️ To each their own. Glad to hear that this drama is finally getting the recognition it deserves!

That’s crazy! It's frustrating that some reviewers only praise popular dramas like Goblin and The Untamed. I understand they are great—I watched them myself—but we shouldn't overlook all the amazing shows out there! I agree with you about the ratings. "Ancient Love Poetry" seems to be a really well-made production, and although I haven’t finished it yet, I’m willing to bet that I will give it a high rating once I do complete it.
Can anyone spoil the ending for me? Do they never get back together, even at the very end? I'm on episode 20, and I need to know if it's a sad ending because I need to prepare myself mentally. I saw someone in the comments say it's a happy ending, considering what the main leads go through, but I thought that was a bit too vague.
Guess it's time to watch it again!

It was such a dark setting--which is so refreshing and different.
What type of ending does it have?
I have to be in a specific mindset to watch this.

Still have to watch the second.

This is my new comfort drama. I simply cannot find any faults in this at all!
Classic she fell first, but he fell harder.
