People like what they like and dislike what they dislike and that's that, or at least it should be but you seem to be suspicious of anyone who didn't love this as if it's the biggest impossibility in the world for anyone to feel anything negative about it at all.
You're entitled to feel that way and harp on it and comment as much as you desire of course but just know it hasn't gone unnoticed that you're in every comment's replies trying to debate some of the more negative views expressed here and that's far more than any trolls who may or may not be downvoting this for lolz are doing.

Also, iQ is a hot mess with a lot of broken features in general so I personally wouldn't put much stock in their ratings system for that reason alone.
I don't know what is more mind-boggling... the lack of a second season or the fact that the actor who plays Son hasn't been cast in anything since this came out. He's so handsome!

Things got tediously repetitive too early on. Not that this was the only issue plaguing this series, but I think a 10-episode order count was overly ambitious for the story being told and ultimately did the storytelling a major disservice.
Most series would benefit from an additional episode or two but this would've done better with half of what it got. If that. Honestly, I think they could've easily told this story in a 2-hour special or "movie" format and yielded a more favorable response from viewers.
Same screenwriter & director as that embarrassingly awful LiTA adaptation, but it looks like they made more of an effort with casting so I might check it out.
What and when was the last official update on this?
I could maybe comprehend indefinitely shelving a movie or even a short series but SIXTY 45 min episodes?!
Other series seem to be pushing through, albeit the difficulties imposed by China's ban of the content. I feel like there could be something else going on in addition to that that's affected the release?
In any case, if I were the director or anyone else who worked on this I'd be leaking and teasing footage on social media like crazy in hopes of it maybe enticing some bigwig in Thailand to take it on.
I hear you... I'm curious to see how they'll explain it away and/or spin it for redemption once SSY becomes privy…
I haven't read the novel yet(?) but it sounds like you have which naturally would make it easier for you and others who have read it to fill in blanks and make better sense of character dynamics than those of us who are being introduced to the story for the first time.
As is, I feel like I NEED to read the novel just to make sense of what I'm seeing play out onscreen as far as THEIR love story is concerned instead of WANTing to read the novel for additional details, if that makes sense.
As for HY, I think his years long "love" for SSY has been made clear onscreen, even though we've been left in the dark for the most part re: some of the details: what took him so long to make a play, etc. It's SSY's seemingly overnight adoration of HY that needed work though. So far his side of "love" has mostly been told rather than shown: his friends have alluded to him being a player of sorts more than once; we were also told he had one long relationship out of his many former lovers. Yet out of nowhere he's a one-man man for HY. But WHY. This could and should be clearer.
