Fully agreed with you on Rising with the wind. I may also add that the ML in RWTW was not in love with the FL. He was just intrigued by her as he is an arrogant know it all guy. I wish the FL did not reconcile with him at the end. He nearly ruined not only her life but hundreds employees.

He is still manipulative in the last episode when he came on purpose to pick HYM up at her flying lesson & made sure to put in the word “our daughter was worried about you” with a view to killing any intention of the instructor. In the car, testing HYM out whether she wants to date the instructor. Come on, dude his behaviour was disgusting when they were married and is still controlling. This type of man will never change, yuck. I want to slap him with his smug smile LOL. I am so glad that Rose rejected him in the last episode & told him that she has moved on & their love story has ended, phew.

Ep 33 trailer, I hope Rose remains firm and does not let the ex douchebag FXW use their daughter as pawn to get Rose back and create mayhem for Rose and the cutie daughter. I was surprised that he agreed to divorce so quickly in ep 28 given his controlling, domineering & disgusting behaviour towards Rose. The guy barely spent any time with his daughter and now wants her back to use her to get Rose back. I was wondering whether he had kept tap on Rose and her new boyfriend to suddenly show up. I am glad that Susu told him straight to his face about his him using & controlling his own daughter to get back at Rose. FXW is still denying about his shortcomings and does not reflect on his mistakes & failure, he really needs to see a psychiatrist.

Your comment on Rose’s parenting skills makes me smile as I was thinking the same thing. I would never leave my child be with my former boyfriend even just for 5 minute. I would always ask my child if she or he needed to use the toilet after eating in a restaurant because you don’t want your child to have an accident in the car.

I can’t understand it either why a smart girl like her fall for ZGD (overconfident & selfish guy who values his career first over hers) and FXW ( complete controlling jerk who wants to put her in a cage and thinks she does not need to work, be a stayed at home mum & has to cater for his needs yuk). I hope she picks herself up & focuses on her life and live/works freely with her daughter. I prefer the brother & Su’s relationship despite many shortcomings.

To be quite honest, the way he is controlling her, imposing his mother on to her does not create a very happy environment for a pregnant woman. He is not really kind with all his shenanigans about her parents looking down on him blah blah. As she suggested, she would prefer to have her own mum around to help her rather that his mum but no he blamed her for being ungrateful. If I were her, I would have preferred having my mum over instead of my mother in-law, hell no. This jerk said to her, oh I won’t be comfortable having your mum around but does not care bout how she feels having his mum harassing her. For him, she has to forget about her parents & just focus on him & hi mum, red flag LoL. If my husband does that to me, I’ll be like see you jerk.

I hate it when FXW argued with HYM over letting her mum spend some time with her before the delivery of the baby. He is trying to play the victim/ inferiority card to make her feel bad for him yawn. The guy is unreal and the mother in-law telling him to let her go see her parents in Beijing and the baby is still ours. Hello, she is not a baby making machine, I want to slap the mother & the son LOL. We have to watch 2 more episodes before she decides to divorce that creep sigh. I hope she does not go back to her first love ZGD and move on to live freely without a man telling you what to do.

Ikr, my blood in boiling with the creepy hubby & horrible mother in-law. I feel for her when she is screaming of contractions in the delivery room especially it is her first baby and she has no idea what to expect, how to push the baby. The most importantly, her cirvix is not opened yet so so it takes time for the baby to come.

Fully agreed with you. I cannot wait for Rose to dump this piece of sh*t & his monster mother to move on. It is so depressing to watch a free spirited &full of life girl to be controlled by this guy yuk.

My colleagues hug each other but it does not mean that they’re sleeping with each other. What he did to her when she went to see him the next day was worse as he deliberately provoked her by holding the annoying SML’s hand as if yeah I came to Shanghai to see you but then realised that we had nothing in common just like that so therefore I prefer to break up with you and be with this woman. The concept of different timelines is interesting but I am not quite sure about the storyline as the FL’s lives in both timelines suck and having to go through difficulties, I do think that the writers should just let her run her restaurants, be an independent woman instead of bringing back the SML in the picture where he has proposed and she is hesitating. Then, FL in both timelines celebrated each other on the marriage of FL & ML in timeline 1, then FL in timeline 1 asked the FL in Timeline 2 whether she has found her own happiness. She then replied with hesitation that so far ok, at least she is in control of her own life (I think she is staying single) and busy with work.

It is in ep 19 as a flashback. If he really loves her, he could have got off the taxi, gone to her & tell the SML to FO so that they could have a proper & mature conversation. Their argument was just stupid to begin with so the least he could do is just clear the air, apologise but no just left without a word. When she came to clarify in the middle of the series episodes 9 or 10, ML decided to break up just like that without really understanding why she was hugged by SML. I must say I have never been a fan of the actor that plays the SML.

Yep, I must say that I skipped many scenes where FL started a rebound relationship with SML ( I was like girl you just had a breakup with your long term boyfriend & jumped right into another relationship with a unattractive guy with luggage (a daughter with a former girlfriend). LOL, ML got pissed off with FL & initiated the breakup out of spite & held the hands of SFL when they were not even in a relationship yet despite her advance, you can imagine how f**ked are their future relationships for both FL with SML & ML with SFL. To add insult to the injury, in a space of 2 years after their breakup, ML &SFL got married & had a little girl together. You could clearly see their regrets for having missed each other in Timeline 2 despite their best wishes for each others.

Yes, I do not like the open ending in Timeline 2 as I think her breakup with ML was based on misunderstanding & unwillingness of each other to compromise for one another, especially when they showed the scene with ML asking the taxi driver to go back to her flat & saw that she was hugged by not so charming SML . He could have just gone back to her instead of walking away, that is not love but just throwing toys of the pram. I do think that FL’s life in Timeline 1 is not better, being stuck living a miserable under the same roof as the in-law not being to work because of social prejudice (oh your son is too young so you won’t be able to focus & do your job) and then suspecting that her husband is cheating on her. When FL said to FL in Timeline that she is happily married sounds unconvincing to me. Overall, I do like the concept of the drama and not much of the ending.
