So far I’ve been patient with XQ and understand her inactions vis-a-vis the old witch of a n adoptive mother but her inaction towards towards SY when her creepy adoptive brother when he humiliated SY for no reason is unbearable. I have come to the conclusion that XQ does not deserve SY’s love. 10 years after their breakup, you would have hoped that she may have matured and learnt a few things or two but nope, she still continues to hurt the feelings of people that value her the most and I mean SY but not her creepy adoptive family. I forgive her for being aloof due to the suppression of her adoptive family but she cannot being hot cold with SY and expects him to chase after her all his life. I am not even on SY’s sides with his shortcomings.

LOL, JY is trolling SY so hard. JY cracks me up.

Well, I am currently watching Twilight and it is also slow paced and I enjoy the drama so far. Many people have dropped watching it after 2 episodes.

LOL, I get the feeling that SY is upset with XQ for being chosen as the Guinea pig in her rescue demonstration to his colleagues. I could see the tension between both SY & XQ in a positive way. Hopefully, they could start getting to know each other again and decide whether they want to get back together or not.

I have not read the novel but from watching the episodes so far, I could see that the FL has gone though trauma since very young of having lost her parents. The adoptive mum is being a control freak and she keeps telling the FL what to do, how to lead her life . She is instilling fear, lack of confidence in herself when she keeps telling the FL that she is where she is is thanks to her family’s name & wealth. I could see that the FL is going through depression after she was forced by her adoptive mother to break up with SY. Please be patient with her character as I am sure that the scriptwriter will show the reason why she is indecisive with SY and is still fearful of her adoptive mum & family.

I could see that happening actually. I understand that LZS continues to scheme and LYR will manage to stop him. GJS will also see through LZS’s evil plan. In the end, Jiang He & LZS will kill each other in a fire. Shame as I kind of like Jiang He and LZS plays really well this mysterious, evil character but yet vulnerable when it comes to LYR.

I understand from people who read the novel that GJS managed to give General Zhou Gualang the second decree from the dead emperor. GJS asked the young emperor to abdicate and he will be killed by his servants.

I think the crown prince must have declared himself emperor. I hope the emperor’s right man’s man could give GJS the decree as I am sure that the idiot crown prince would have killed him. Like Jiang He said it, he will kill LZS himself should LZS continue being evil & creating chaos in the court.

That is right, he looks like a teenager next to XiFeng. His jealousy of GJS makes him blinded and ungrateful. I am just wondering what makes him think that he deserves to rule over the country, a young brat, know nothing with a silver spoon on the plate all his life.

Agreed, not quite sure why he so hates LZS, perhaps he was jealous of his family when they were younger? I was hoping to watch new episodes but unfortunately I would have to wait till Thursday no for ep 29-30.

I remember that there were some Canadians Chinese that were infected in HK without knowing, went back to Canada and died. Many expats left HK at the time to their own countries. It took 3 to 4 years for HK & China to become normal again.

Agreed. The wrong footing started with her mother forcing her to marry another military guy and YF wanted to be free to study and do her own thing. Her controlling mum has pushed YF to lie about her relationship with CHJ. You could clearly see from the start, she does not see CHJ as her equal & soulmate the way XM does with XCS. At least YF, she is clear in her own choices and does not blame anyone for her mistakes like the way her brother, CHJ & HHL do. Luckily for her that she does not have any children with CHJ because it is the children that suffer more in this situation.
