Okay so Previous Emperor who abdicated, and Prince Changxin were cousins, like it was not clearly said but Prince…
The previous emperor passed away soon after abdicating the throne. Haha I think things would be clearer for non novel readers from ep 30 onwards, we are entering the palace arc so they will slowly reveal stuff.
Agreed. The second slap feels unnecessary, perhaps only to give a ‘dramatic effect’.😓
Oh my God they toned him down a lot, like a lot. He was borderline obsessive there. He had behavioural issues, he was a little toxic there. Here they made him a good person. Especially during the village scenes, he was not at all warmed up to FL or her sister, he was cold to them, he eventually began liking them. But in the drama he was so good to them since the first. In fact in the drama, while they showed ML got attracted to FL a little, hence agreed to marry her, in the novel, he just wanted to marry her for identity papers. When they were separated due to their blood feud, ML even thought maybe if not in life, then in death they should share a grave, so maybe he should die with FL to be together. The line in the drama which was "Till I am alive, you will be mine" is actually changed, in the novel it was "Till I am alive, I will never let you bore anyone else's child". They also cut down one forced kiss. Someone just reminded me, he also sucked and bit her lips when she was unconscious in the novel. Yeah so now you get the picture. There are a lot of other instances. Many readers hated him. I did not do that though. I am okay with flawed characters, till both of them want to be genuinely be with each other.

Yeah I read the novel. In the novel he deserved the slap 100%. Here, yeah I agree. A push would have been better. I just felt if the director wanted to keep the slap for dramatic purpose, then it should have been before she heard his explanation, not after it. Because before she heard it, she looked really angry, really ferocious, so in the heat of the moment, I could understand she slapped him, but later she became too emotional so.
Tiktok doesn't open for me. Can you say what is happening in a line or something, because your reaction is making…
It was very random. Many novel readers felt it was unnecessary and adds nothing to the plot. But the novel writer is a fan of transmigration dramas hence she added it. Its highly unlikely that they would keep this in the drama though.
Could someone please explain the connection between Current Emperor (very young guy), Previous Emperor (who abdicated…
Okay so Previous Emperor who abdicated, and Prince Changxin were cousins, like it was not clearly said but Prince C was part of the royal family, but not heir to the throne. He has Sui surname so I guess his mother might be a princess or something, other he would have Qi surname. The current Emperor, The crown prince who died 17 years back, Qi Shu (royal princess) are all children of the previous emperor.
When was the first kiss happen in novel??Is there have any orange candy scene also in novel
The first kiss was the forced kiss which lead to their separation in the novel, after which ML returned to the military and took over his duties as Marquis. Yes she always gave him tangerine candy in the novel as well.

I feel when she started walking away after coming down from the horse, and ML dragged her in front of the tree to explain, at that moment they could have positioned the slap, because he was forcing her to listen to her and she was much more agitated at the moment. As you said, yes after the explanation, the slap felt a little off-putting. But someone reasoned that he said till I am alive, you are mine. So this possessive dialogue just after the revelation of the big lie, made FL angry, hence the slap.
In the novel, there was no such trope. Princess Royal never went to the military camp, or took a different identity. I don't think she was even a medic. She and FL met in the last few chapters. This is an added track in the drama presumably to show Princess and Gongshun Yin's romance, and her friendship with FL and ML.

They show it in the drama? How are they going to pass censorship? Don't they dare declare everything as a dream in the last minute, or maybe a part of a book. And if they don't it further affirms my belief that this director has his ways in the censorship bureau.
I'm still in the beginning of this drama and il planning to binge it today to keep up with the episodes but I…
Yes its true. But it should be a short one 31-33 max. They have a blood feud between them after identity reveal of the FL so. I would have loved to tell you more but you just started I don't want to spoil it for you. They also separate in ep 17, and get back together in 24. They were physically separated in this one, after a fight.
