But acting wise, Bai Lu and Cheng Lei have always acted so well, so that would be good as usual (plus we saw them in teasers). But op replied that they meant other cast members as well, while I was thinking of the leads only.

I read the novel. I meant he was sweet to his wife. How could she stab him? Yeli was like his whole world, he was super possessive but never refused to her for anything. Ohh I loved their novel versions, I imagined them while reading so haha.

Considering the divorce scene seems to be when MXY is still wheelchair bound, and the 80% romantic scenes are when MXY is not wheelchair bound, maybe its not that bad.

I am up for the angst too. Angst showcases good acting skills of the actors as well. But I think they can bring angst without a divorce letter. Make them fight or something, just don't break my heart. Ahaaa.

Guys in today's trailer, there is a scene where Mo Xiu Yao cries and writes a divorce letter to Yeli, and then gives it to her. He is still in the wheelchair in that scene.

(If I remember correctly, there was no divorce arc in the novel. If they give me more than one episode of separation, I will go to China to protest. Mo Xiu Yao and Yeli couple is the healthiest couple in costume dramas that I have ever seen. All changes are welcomes, except anything to their relationship.)
