The scene in the initial episodes, when she and emperor, went inside a dungeon to find the truth about the black market, it made me remember how Jiang Li and Duke Su went to the mine. The alcohol scene in the rain as well. There is also a dialogue in ep 10 that she says, and if not exact then around 90% similar dialogue was said by Jiang Li as well.
Wu Jinyan is excellent, but I think these are deliberate choices made by the director and production.

I so agree. A good actor should never stick to one genre, he should do all kinds of genres, excellent roles, grey characters, everything, it would be bad to typecast him into one genre.

Okay Yin Qing, the pharmacist/cosmetic supplier guy, is for sure a villain right? I mean I watched him in The Double, saw his next drama trailer also with Chen Zheyuan, Chasing Dreams. I am not stereotyping him into an evil character, but it doesn't seem he would take such a goofy character who is just a sidekick of FL without any major plot development for himself.
Plus there is no reason for him to actively come into FL's service like he did. I don't believe him.

But if I am wrong, and he plays a positive character, then he is dying for sure, too cheerful.
