Also about the prosecutor, he bullied her, so it became kind of personal, she will win against him especially because it feels her father was wrongly prosecuted by the bully prosecutor's father. Cliche but obvious, everything is connected.

There were spoilers released before because of the novel, the drama is based on, so kind of knew this was going to happen, so it doesn't feel forced, especially because even in ep 22, that's the latest episode, there is nothing between them. Like she just got divorced, they are just being friends. Even without the cheating, the guy wasn't being a very good husband to her, hiding things, lying, so I think we all just saw it coming!
But I get, its a normal trope in dramas to make ML's friend fall in love with FL's friend. I thought its sweet though, it actually a kind of fantasy, besties always dream that they will date another set of besties and have good life, so yeah cliche, but always works! But again to each their own!
